the wifi doesnt reach our room, the charging plug is so far away you cant use your phone from your bed, our room was next to the smoking area so the smoke always come in whenever we open the window which was uncomfortable

Well, I thought that the staff was very helpful and friendly. they worked very hard, at least from what I saw from them. Everything was extremely clean, bathroom , toilet, shower, and kitchen. Also it is the little things that make the stay. For instance, the electric tea kettle very quick to boil water. The mircowave and toaster oven also a big plus. Thanks again my stay was Awesome!! I can't thing of anything

The sleeping dorm was hot enough to be a sauna the second night I was there. There was no way to contact staff and I got no sleep at all that night.

The place is nice, around 10 minutes from the Ikebukuro station that can basically take you everywhere. There are very picturesque areas around, I walked them at my first day and was very content. Conviniences and a lot of other stores (including animate Ikebukuro) are located very close to the hostel. Everything was clean, the bed was soft and fresh. In the room for 8 people you have 2 showers and 4 sinks what I think is enough. Also you can't eat in the bedroom, only in a shared room, wich is good for me because of no bad smells. So there are some points that I didn't really like: 1. Some problems with water I don't know what was wrong, but 3 of 4 days I stayed there were no hot water in the sinks. It's not warm period in Japan now and wash my face and hands with the cold water isn't the best idea. Also in the shower water wasn't constantly warm, going from hot to freezing in 30 seconds. 2. No USB charger For me it also a minus in a hostels, but maybe I'm too picky. I didn't really like the idea that I need to buy Japanese socket for 3 days (which is actually not that cheap as well) and never use it again. 3. Temperature in the room Also was changing from hot to cold. 4. Bad wifi It was really bad especially on the 3rd floor where I stayed, it basically didn't load anything and I was permanently changed to 4G. 5. Cleaning from 11 to 16 Cleaning of course is good, but you practically can not stay in the room or access your personal items freely during this time. And also, people already told that theres no staff at all. I don't know if it was good or bad, in general I didn't need them

The best were comfortable, the location was great and It was easy to check in by yourself. The bathroom, showers and sinks were in the same area as the beds so it made sleeping difficult if others were using the bathroom area (hairdryers, etc). There were no quiet hours which added to the noise at all hours.

A very cheap hostel with a reasonable walking distance to Ikebukero station. The main reason I chose it was because the next day I would move into my apartment and thus wanted good access to Ikebukero station. A toothbrush, toothpaste and a small towel for your hands was provided. Overall I think it fits my expectations quite well. With the moving story in mind I had a fairly massive suitcase which was quite heavy and a smaller one. The female dormitory is on the 3rd floor without and the mixed one is on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator. But honestly there not being an elevator was not a big deal for me since I knew about it beforehand. Just be prepared for it. I also brought more valuables such as a laptop and other stuff I normally wouldn't bring on a leisure trip. The luggage storage was large but there were no lockers with locks on them, it is all an open area but a big enough one size wise. There were boxes with code locks for smaller valuables such as a wallet etc but they wouldn't fit something like a laptop.

They don’t have any towels, tooth brush etc. for you. Since the shower room is located in the same room as the beds, there were time restrictions for its use.

I think it’s a little far from the station cuz it almost spend me around 40mins every day (go and back), and I think it’s a little be not so convenient that should take bath before 24:00, cuz who back to hotel so early in Tokyo?~ but the place and comfort by the bed is okay for me, and not so nosy from my opinion cuz not so full customers at the night I came!! Location was nice an practical. The hostel is small and very cute, the amenities were clean and confortable. Dormitory was also calm. We didn’t see any staff members so we felt a bit lonely at checking/chekout.
