The staff were very helpful! We messed up our booking but they worked out the best way to resolve it. Besides that the surrounding area is a very good location. If you are staying in Tokyo for the first time I highly recommend this place!

Its very clean, near to everywhere, the staff very nice

Free coffee and tea 24/7 Room is very tight and small

Easy to locate, 7/11 right behind the hotel Can walk 7-10 minutes and be in the mix of anime, food and shopping Vending machines in lounge area Coin operated washer/dryers The bed set up, I got 2 twin beds for myself and son and they veered pushed together The pillows are awful Kept smelling sewer in the bathroom, not sure if it’s normal because we didn’t have that in Osaka or Kyoto But the KoKo in Osaka is amazing!!

Nice lounge area. Small for 2 adults

The hotel staff was amazing, and the lounge was a great spot to enjoy meals instead of eating in the room. They also offer free drinks and coffee there, which was a nice touch. There is a laundry room (with only one machine, but still very useful), and while the hotel is not right next to the metro station, it’s about a 10-minute walk, which is manageable. Ikebukuro has just about everything you need, from shops to great dining options, and there are convenience stores (konbinis) right next to the hotel. Another fun feature is the game corner with retro Nintendo consoles. Housekeeping comes every two days, but they provide fresh towels daily by leaving them at your door, which is very convenient. Overall, it was a really nice experience. The room may feel small for some guests, including the bathroom, and the bed is not the most comfortable. That said, this is less of an issue if you plan to spend most of your time out exploring Tokyo and everything the city has to offer. The hotel was generally clean, although some shared spaces could have been better maintained. The free drinks and coffee are a nice perk, even if the quality is fairly basic. The laundry facilities were useful, but the dryer did not heat properly, so clothes often remained damp. Another inconvenience is that the lobby is located in the basement. There is no elevator access from the street, so you either have to carry your luggage down the stairs or leave it on the first floor while you check in and wait for staff to retrieve it. While this may be common practice, it can feel a bit uncomfortable leaving your belongings unattended. Additionally, the air conditioning was turned off, and only heating was available. This made the room quite warm at night, with no easy way to cool it down. Opening the windows wasn’t always a good option, as it would let in street noise and light, which made it harder to rest comfortably.

We really enjoyed our 9-night stay!
-
The room felt a bit dark and narrow but it was appropriate for the price.

The staff are super nice and helpful, which is a big bonus for us. They provided new towels every day, so we basically don't need to worry about that.

The lounge is a great place to do some work or have a quick bite before heading out for the day! Best thing about it to be honest. The rooms are on the smaller end but what hotel in Tokyo isn’t? They have a mini game area in at the front desk for some retro games and any amenities needed can be picked up! Honestly as an introvert who prefers doing things by myself and not having to speak to staff this is a great way to get what I need without asking. My only issue is that it isn’t as close to the station as I thought it was. Easily a 15min walk and if you have a lot to carry it can be a bit far after a long day of exploring. I’m not saying 15 mins is EXTREMELY far walk. But when you’re tired and you just get off the station, I’d love to just lay down as soon as possible. No other issues except for my unwillingness to walk so far! Great area over all!! Best thing about it is that it’s so close to sunshine city!!! This makes up for the station being a bit “far”

The twin bed room was small, mattress was not comfy, and pillows were too small causing neck pain.

The property has a good location especially if you are fun of animé including sanrio characters as there’s a Sanrio Café closed by. Convenience store like 7-11 and Lawson are within the area (walking distance) which was cool especially if you want to get some hot/cold snacks late at night. It’s a bit of a walk to get into the nearest train station (Ikebukuro) but there are so many things to see on the way so it doesn’t get boring. I love that the hotel has vending machines both for food and drinks. The room was not spacious but it was comfortable for myself, my husband and my 8-year old daughter. I was happy we were able to find a decent queen bed room as most properties offer bunk beds. The only thing I don’t like is that their main entrance is going down the stairs which I find odd and challenging especially if you’re checking in with your luggages.

The room was a bit too small, especially that we were two people. To reach the train station we had to walk 12-13 minutes. It was okay, but it would have been great if it was more close to the station

I loved everything about my stay! The people were very nice and approaching towards us. My mother and I felt very comfortable the entire time. Some even knew very good English! It's in a very big city area where we went to shop daily. Stayed here for 9 days. Nice that 7/11 was a block away. We also loved the complementary coffee and tea! I didnt like how small the rooms were, but that's just typical Japan hotel rooms, and I got used to it after a day. Otherwise no complaints.

We liked the lounge and amenities. The room was small but functional. The hotel was close to a huge shopping center with great restaurants, an aquarium and an observation deck. Good experience as our first hotel of our Japan trip. The name of the hotel (which has since been changed) was really similar to another hotel close by. We went to the other hotel by mistake, and were directed to this one. After a long train ride from the airport, and walking from the train station and the wrong hotel, it was very inconvenient to drag our bags down the stairs to the basement to check in.
-
The hotel was in a good location that was close to the train station and the local shops and restaurants. So convenient to have a 7-11 next door. The staff was very accommodating! Rooms are small, but you don't spend much time in them anyway.
-
It was pretty dusty in our room and the wifi signal wasn't buggy meaning that is was not strong enough.
-
The lounge was nice. The staff were kind and the towel service was useful. I had a good time.

Great location, helpful staff. Twin room was challenging with two people and a lot of luggage, but it was a nice stay. W
