Location was okay, seedy part of Tokyo. Overall close to metro station. More chairs and tables needed at eating area downstairs near check in area

Rooms were decently sized. The bathroom is Western style whereby a a 6'2 person can fit under the shower. There is in-room safe. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided. No hand soap, but I just use the body wash. Downstairs, they also have lotion you grab yourself, as well as disposable shavers and disposable toothbrushes with toothpaste. I like the mix of tourists I saw in the cafeteria in the mornings...youngish looking people, retirees, tour groups (didn't like that as they all Line up same time for breakfast!), foreign tourists, families with young kids. Breakfast is cafeteria style downstairs from 6:30-9 and served with both Western and Japanese food, although the Western food is so-so. Western food is specifically baked goods (but mildly flavored) like mini rolls and croissants brought in fresh every day (I know since I was up early due to jet lag and saw them setting up), scrambled eggs/eggs, and cabbage salad. Japanese is mackeral/sardines, veggies, miso soup, and rice/flavored rice, There is variety but since we stayed six days, inevitably it will get repeated. Washing machine and dryer are downstairs and only take 100 yen coins. You have to use a vending machine for detergent (only takes 10 yen coins). Dryer--if you dry heavy clothes like cotton or something really substantial like jeans, expect to take more time. I had to feed the dryer machine 3x (for 30 mins each). Another idea is to hang dry in your bathroom (they have a laundry line in there). Staff is helpful and hit-or-mix on English side, but they are friendly and you will get your message across. There is luggage service here--I actually messed up by not scheduling the day before, so I ended up leaving before my luggage did, but the hotel made sure it was picked up by the luggage services (which I got confirmation email the next day while in another city). I used Airporter Luggage from Tokyoko Inn to Narita while I enjoyed a further 4 days in Osaka/Kansai... We reserved two rooms but due to self-check in at a machine, we were apart...strangely, the check-in staff was unable to manually change so we can be at least on the same floor. So, we were stuck on different floor (5 and 11). It worked out but as you can imagine, made for inconvenience (luckily we had eSims on our phones to allow communicating). On the room, a negative is that the outlets are only near the bathroom or close to the table. There is some USB outlets near one side of the bed and none near the window. Location gets a mixed score from my family. I didn't mind but the hotel is located in a part of town that can be considered "seedy" depending on your norms, but for Japanese culture it is normal--as I've been to Jpn before, while for my spouse it is the first time. Specifically, there is a "love hotel" right next to Toyoko Inn. There are also hostess bars on your way from the convenient nearby JR Ikebukuro station. At same time, the location also has many restaurants and bars. Again, this is normal but I thought you should be aware. (Also recall many types of ppl stayed at hotels--they seem fine).

Near airport limo stop which is accessible on flat road. Easy to pull luggage. Also delicious breakfast. Coin washer and dryer available. Ice water at lobby. None.

the room's lighting a bit dim. If possible to change to light bulb to warm lighting will be better. The breakfast is the best.

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making for a restful night. I especially loved the breakfast—it had a great variety of delicious options to start the day! Highly recommend this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again!

Loved the location. Lots of food options around. Easy check in and out. The morning breakfast options were pretty tasty and the staff were very nice. The hanger in the bathroom came in very handy. Nice amenities, very clean. Hot water and good pressure. The bed was rock hard, it was difficult to sleep. If you open the window there is a lot of cigarette smoke which is unpleasant. The dryer downstairs takes a long time, over 1.5 hours.

Very good hotel in the center of Ikebukuro. Close to the station. Very tasty breakfast. Clean and small rooms. There is a kettle in the room. Bathtub was great after a cold day. Little bit noisy, because isolation was not so good. View from our room was to another building.

Very good hotel in the center of Ikebukuro. Close to the station. Very tasty breakfast. Clean and small rooms. There is a kettle in the room. The mattress was very hard the same with pillows. We had pain in our neck after the first night and then we didn't use them.
