The location is good for many restaurants and streets around Ikebukuro. It takes about 5 mins walk from Ikebukuro station. The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet includes Japanese and Western.

Great location in West Ikebukuro. The hotel room was a good size for 1 person, had plenty of amenities, and was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was also enjoyable as was the free coffee all day. This area is less noisy or crowded than the east side of Ikebukuro. The room may be a bit tight for 2 people.

Traditional free breakfast will forever be a win, additional to the fact that they tried their best to limiting wastage of food via a "opt-in / opt-out" option via the inroom television *you will know what i meant when you check-in to room* Multiple 24hrs combini around, plenty of F&B options in close proximity, nearby laundromat incase the in-building one is fully booked, NEARBY DON QUIJOTE for those last min souvenir hunts and also walking distance to Sunshine~ Some of the staffs are Chinese lingual so that helps for some of us, hotel is Airporter ready too so you can send your luggage in advance to other cities or airports, locker system at the concierge is plentiful and easy to use. Hotel has ice-cube machine even in winter so thats a major plus for me personally. MOST IMPORTANT! In-room air-condition unit is independent, so u can adjust cooling/neutral/heater mode.... Not exactly a deal breaker but the toilet-bowl is abit on the smaller sized.....its the same through out most of the japan's hotel so one just have to discover the comfort spot/pose oneself. You might want to request for 1 more pillow.

It was available at the location and dates that I wanted and I was familiar with this chain. Nothing negative at all.

Great hotel near the station. The morning breakfast is a real plus All the employees were extremely helpful and it was very nice to have laundry service available. The room was bigger than I expected for Japanese standards. My only negative was a little bit of a firm mattress. Overall a very great 2-day stay. The bed was just a tad bit firm.
