Hyatt Place Houston / The Woodlands

Pretty much everything was great except for running out of hot water in the morning. The place was very clean and good looking. The front desk employee had a very good mix of professionalism and friendliness. I chose this location due to the level 2 Tesla chargers and that worked out really well. There were always two slots available while I was there. I left my car to charge overnight.

The hotel was a step up from a motel. Comfortable beds and decent pool. Breakfast staff had a hard time keeping up with keeping the food stocked and front desk staff were pretty unfriendly. Not the best stay and had higher expectations but it did the job.

The hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and modern. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. We also loved the on-site amenities, such as the pool and gym. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Forget trying to sleep in and rest. I was up by 8am, cleaning staff making lots noise upstairs cleaning. Breakfast was ok not the best for Hyatt.

Facilities were clean and quiet. Room was nice and comfortable (King with Sofa). Breakfast was good with omelets, pancakes, and breakfast tacos to name a few main things. AC took a minute to get the room cold, but ended up ok. While we did not partake, there was even a bar which seemed cool.

The hotel was fine, clean, and well maintained. Having to pay for parking after the extremely high room price was galling. And I remember when we used to get really nice toiletries if you stayed in a hotel this expensive. Toiletries that smelled good using high quality essential oils. Nice soap, not just inoffensive soap. I am not a fan of the area which is likely why the room was so expensive. I just expect a bit more for the price. Throw a nice mint on the pillow or something, guys, please!

This hotel accommodated my family of 6 very well. Very clean and the staff checked us in, in less than five minutes. Definitely will keep this one in mind for future trips.

The "24/7 Starbucks" is just Starbucks brand coffee served by the hotel. And the receptionist desk employee is also the bartender. So we mostly ordered beer and wine as she seemed overwhelmed and was having to look up drink recipes. After viewing the breakfast options we decided to go elsewhere.

Not once did housekeeping stop at our room to offer new towels and Kleenex and toilet paper. We had dogs but it would have been nice to have our garbage taken out and at least see if we needed anything. We were there for 4 nights. Apart from one gentleman working the night shift (I can’t remember his name), the rest of the staff were short and a bit unwelcoming. Booked it at the last minute as we didn’t feel like driving home. We’ve stayed here numerous times as we feel it is in a nice location.

Booked a two queen bed paid for a two queen bed but they sold out and ended up with a king bed and my child had to sleep on the floor.

This is a fantastic property. Check in was fast and easy with a very friendly staff. They have awesome amenities like a Starbucks and a bar and they don’t charge for parking. Very friendly staff. Will stay here here again.

The shower has a plastic curtain, it is uncomfortable. The sink faucet is very far back, it could be two inches forward and it would be much more comfortable to wash your hands. The blinds, although they are blackout, do not block the light coming in, the top part is very open, a lot of light comes through.

the hotel surprised us by charging for parking which was not mention at the Expedia site or for that matter the Hyatt website . Housekeeping was very unpredictable . Sometimes they would leave supplies such as glasses and soap.

The hotel itself is old, but ok for a 3 star hotel. My main issues was with the staff. I asked multiple times for my room to be cleaned everyday, but it wasn't!

Very clean and staff was wonderful. The bathroom door is a terrible design. It is very hard to shut and lock and puts out a lot of light on the outside of the door. No sound buffer either. We enjoyed everything except that part.

The glass sliding door for the bathroom is a stupid idea - lights up a dark bedroom at night and noisy when the bathroom is in use, and The breakfast ends at 9:00 am thru the weekdays. It should run until 10:00 am for late sleepers.

That supposed that if you take a vacation you want to rest and sleep well. I love Houston and Woodlands area but I not recommend this hotel the front desk service is horrible the need to training more in other to have better costumer service.

The hotel was clean when we got there, and the price had been reasonable when we booked it; and the location was nice. When I arrived with my family, I asked for a crib, and the guy who seemed pretty nice went to look for it. I was parking my vehicle while my wife waited for the crib, and when I got back, was surprised to hear from my wife that there were no sheets or mattress for the crib. I went back to the guy, who now turned into a grumpy old man, and said that the crib "comes as is"... I told him to bring me regular bed sheets, and he seemed "surprised" by my ask, saying that they were not going to fit. I pushed him to bring them, and finally got them, not in a nice way. I was surprised by the $15 dll per day fee on parking (why would they do this if there is plenty of parking and it is only hotel-parking?? just add the amount to the weekly hotel booking!), but that was not the major disappointment. The major disappointment after the terrible experience with the grumpy man, was that they did not clean our room for 3 consecutive days even though we asked for cleaning every day, and were out of our room every day by around 10:30am. First they told us that hotels don't clean rooms every day now a days unless you explicitly ask for it (which we were doing!), and then they just said that they were asking to get it cleaned, but someone was just not making it happen... will I go back to this hotel in Houston? Of course not... will try something else next time.

The staff here is amazing. So polite, professional and helpful. Beautiful hotel with all the amenities you could need. Breakfast was great and my kids enjoyed it which is rare. Location is near all the shopping and restaurants you could need. Parks nearby for kids to play. Wonderful stay and highly recommend.

This hotel was very nice, the only reasons I did not give it 4 stars are; the shower was adequate at best, the water faucet at the sink did not come out far enough into the sink to properly wash your hands without the water running all over the vanity top and the room had a slight musty/dog smell.. Also, on Saturday evening the restaurant was closed..
