Grand Hotel De La Ville

Strong odor of gas in our room. We were told it was a known issue but since the hotel doesn't use gas, there is nothing they can do. Made me nervous and uncomfortable for the entire stay.

View from pool Bar at pool closing too early at 6:30pm Breakfast not opening until 7 am caused us to rush through it for a few days to get to our scheduled tours. On departure day we had to skip breakfast because our taxi left at 6:45.

Beautiful view from the balcony and walking distance from the town. Felt that the soundproofing should be better. Could hear anything in the hallway and next door. Also bathroom shower needs update tub so high to climb into, hardly any room. Also a constant whirring in bathroom, maybe a vent but loud and annoying.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and beautiful bars/restaurants.

The room was nice and clean. The stuff were the best, very nice also very patient, love them. Breakfast could better. The food was not bad but the selections were limited.

Very clean and well kept Nothing

Good location and very clean. Enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool side area. Front desk staff were not overly friendly. Room and bathroom was dated. Room doors were very noisy. Impossible to close them quietly. Room at front of the hotel overlooks the road and was noisy. We requested a change and hotel accommodated our request.

The moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and efficient. We were very happy with our exceptionally clean room, which was an upgrade from the basic room. The room was spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the garden. The included breakfast was wonderful with many delicious options. Make sure you take some time to visit the pool/bar area on the top floor. The views are spectacular during the day and in the evening!! It would have been nice to have some room in the refrigerator to chill our water bottles. The mini bar was packed with great options, but left little room to store our purchased items.

The staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming, the breakfast was great, the hotel was very clean, we had a partial sea view from the balcony which was very nice and the view from the rooftop pool/bar was incredible.

Beautiful rooms. Loved, loved the shampoo! Lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was superb. Great location. Missed breakfast. Maybe stay open until 11:00?

My stay was an amazing experience

classic palm beach style hotel but it's Italy. Where else could you walk out the door and walk through an orange grove to town.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful. The tiles in the room and bathroom were stunning. The view was very welcoming when we woke up and just wanted to relax on our balcony. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect to walk to town. The only complaint was the rooftop bar. They seemed to change their times constantly. You couldn't make a plan to go up there because you had no idea if they'd be open!

Charming old hotel in excellent condition. Comfortable bed and nicely decorated room. Friendly, courteous staff. Good location Breath taking views from rooftop and good cocktails Amazing breakfast -and service Disappointed as states they have temperature controlled pools -but both were cold.

Stay for 5 days, staff were really friendly and help us during the stay. Location is not very far from city center, great sea view
