K Hostel Seminyak

Slight musty smell and water backs up in shower and sink (drains but very slow)

Great location, lovely family running the property, and great value. Felt very comfortable here as a female solo traveler. This is not a social hostel, for those looking for that. But a great hostel for short and long stays. Access to pool and a lot of restaurants nearby.

The room had a damp smell on my first night. Maybe because I stayed during wet season and the room had not been used for a few days. However, the room was very clean and I didn't see any signs of mold. It got better on the next day as I ventilated the room.

The ventilation in the room could have been better.

Clean and well maintained. Attentive host, all good! Second time here!

Everything! Nothing

.A spotless accomodation. .The bed is very comfortable and the shower has very good pressure and hot water available. .Location is very good, close to everything (restaurants, shops, mini markets, laundry places, etc) and a quite place. .The top floor has kitchen, fridge, drinks (water, coffee and tea for free for 24 hrs). None.

I really liked this hostel and i didn't want to leave it, very clean and the owner is very kind. the location was perfect for me.

Clean, comfortable, and close to everything.

I am a female guest who was physically assaulted at K Hostel Seminyak by a male tourist living in a nearby room. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hostel and will never come back nor recommend this place to any other women. The man opened the door to the all-girl's dorm room, started verbally abusing me, filming me, and finally threw dettol (a wound cleaner) into my eyes. This all escalated when I just told the man not to verbally abuse another guest. The owner did not protect me, watched the man throw dettol at me and still did not want me to call police, or give any consequences to the male guest. He did not even ask him to leave the hostel. Everything was caught on CCTV, and the owner did not release the CCTV to me, offer to pay any medical services, or escort the other guest out. Instead, he upgraded my room (an extra 10 dollar upgrade) and that was all. He did not talk to the guest as promised the night before, but instead told me "He had no issues with him"...after the man very clearly assaulted me in daylight and many people told me to go to police. The owner told me that the problem was out of his hands and also said it was my fault for getting involved. He said if I wanted to ask for compensation from the man for assaulting me, then I should talk to the male guest directly...a Man who very clearly was not afraid to physically hurt me. I would not have been surprised if he punched me or sexually assaulted me and the hostel owner would not do anything about it as he is very afraid to involve police or to ask the man to leave the property. I did not physically harm this guest him nor did I verbally abuse him. This hostel does not protect its female guests. BEWARE.

Everything! I was lucky to be alone in the 4 bed space during my stay! The shower and toilet is inside the room so it was a heaven for me! The entire place was mine? There is a guy in charged of cleaning, so every time I go home, the room is so clean! And the sharing space in the 3rd floor is absolutely nice. And it’s really quiet at night. 20 mins run to the beach. Near everything( laundry, small cafes, restaurants, groceries)

The lockers were not safe. The lock can easily be broken with a little force. So we had to carry our valuables all day

Comfortable bed, quiet most of the time, good AC, nice shower and bath, attentive host, spacious room, clean unit, good location in Seminyak No fridge in the room but had a small shared one on a different floor, cleaner can leave door closed when cleaning to avoid any potential bugs, rare but occasional noise during sleep hours (definitely more quiet that average almost all the time). Nothing really “bad” to say. I recommend the room it’s a private quiet room with a shower and a bath but without a fridge or stove.

Brand new feel, clean, quiet, very comfortable bed and bedding. Kitchen facility and fridge. Hot showers, awesome AC, lovely family business. There was nothing I did not like. It is absolutely perfect

The area is in the heart of Seminyak. It close to stores, resto, a quite close also to the beach. The hostel is a new, clean and super comfy. The owner is super nice, helpful and friendly. There is a kitchen in the 3rd floor, so we can enjoy drink coffee and enjoy the sunset. I would like to stay back again when I go to Bali. I think there is nothing to dislike.

The female dorm was spotless and had all the amenities I needed. The rooftop common area was perfect for remote work. I was able to work my graveyard shift without any connection issues. The staff were so accommodating, even letting me store my bags at their home before check-in and telling me I could use the pool area in the adjacent villa.
