Mom and I went to Sedona for the 1st time. We had an amazing time! Rock Slide is so much fun! Dinner at Mariposa is a must!!!

The room was very spacious and the views were perfect from the second floor. The only suggestion I would have is maybe declining the valet service if its not that busy. We for some reason thought it was required, but that was an error our part. If you do valet and don't want to drive, they offer a car service within a certain vicinity as well as a golf cart service to the main hotel and their amenities. Within the area were all the great choices for restaurants and shops. We loved the pizza place nearby and the ice cream shop across the way. The concierege was also very helpful and provided us with a map as well as suggestions for activities and hiking spots. Overall we were very pleased with our little staycation.

Terrific views, luxurious rooms and a highly accommodating and friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Beautiful scenes of the red rocks from the balcony of the room. It was newly renovated & very spacious. It’s quiet but walking distance to numerous shops & restaurants; best of both worlds. The entire staff was very welcoming & generous. Definitely want to stay here again!
-
Only bad thing about this hotel is that it’s newly renovated you can smell the formaldehyde

It never happened. They canceled on us a week before our stay due to some kind of building permit issues. The lady on the phone was nice but we still had to find another hotel to stay at.

I thought The Cliffs was very nice, but a little too expensive for what they offered. The ongoing construction on the property made it difficult to find my way around. I found that Sedona, in general, charges Santa Fe prices while not offering Santa Fe quality.

Unfortunately I can not give this stay 5 stars. When booking this Hotel, there was no mention that it was under construction 🙄 Check in was done at their Sister property and although the views from the room were breathtaking the Hotel and amenities themselves were lacking due to renovations. It is my opinion that a reduced rate or compendmsation should be offered under these circumstances as it takes away from the overall experience.

Finding how to check in was a pain - hotel us blocked by a construction fence and sign to go to another hotel but no indication that it’s the orchard that’s under construction. We called and only got off sight ppl that also didn’t know the hotel lobby was closed. Do better. When we figured it out - the sister hotel staff were fine - though gave us the impression that we were inconveniencing them & clearly staying at a lesser quality location. Finally got to the room - there is NO WAY this is the quality alluded to on both Expedia or the main website - claims to be a premium suite (1bedroom) it’s not. Definitely not 3.5 stars. It’s old, dated, weird layout… the $35 “resort fee” is ridiculous- no staff on site and our room is beside 3 large dumpsters. Parking lot is dark and dodgy. Wait till they are done Renos - there r other places!

I don’t like move another hotel, and does not tell us early…

For the value and view of the Sedona rock, this place can’t be beat

Location was great in Uptown Sedona with amazing views from our room. Some issues with after hour check in little information as to how to proceed. Overall good stay and would recommend for a nice stay close to everything in town

Hotel was in a great location. We could walk to almost everything!! The view was great as long as your not on the bottom floor, which we were. I would say this hotel was just ok. The pictures make it look way way nicer than it is, so pictures a little deceiving!

Parking is a mess, front desk man isn’t very nice.
-
Great views from room
-
Perfect location for nice peaceful getaway....VIEWS ARE AMAZING
-
Unbelievable views and you can walk everywhere. The property is very dated, but the views are worth it.

A Motel 6 would have been a better option! This place is horrible. The rooms are old and disgusting. When we first arrived, the desk clerk was standing outside like a cop demanding to know why we were parking in their meager designated spots. Once parked, we checked in and he was curt and very short with us. He was an older gentleman with white hair. He made us feel so unwelcome and after driving 8 hours to get there we felt deflated. It was our first trip to Sedona but I don’t think we will be going back after this experience. The Orchard Inn has a “don’t bother me attitude” and for $475/night, we felt totally ripped off. Even the housekeeping was bad. We were down to our last Kleenex and it had a blue stripe on it indicating as such. I deliberately pulled it out so they could see we were out of Kleenex but they didn’t replace it with a new box. The toilet paper is the cheapest brand and paper thin. The toilets are secured to the wall and very low to the ground. The showers are a joke. Old and disgusting. The shower head is on the wrong side so you have to get sprayed when you step inside to turn it on. The only good thing was the view but we were petrified to step out on the balcony. It was old and sloping and very unsteady. I can’t believe this is the sister Inn to L’Auberge. It’s a joke! Save your money and stay anywhere else but The Orchard Inn!!!
