We LOVED this hotel! It was gorgous, staff was really polite and helpful. Gym was clean and very well stocked. Café was tasty. Our room was small and had an awkward center beam in the middle of the room but we only stayed overnight so not a huge deal. It was the only Negative thing!

They also hold your luggage if you are just wandering around town while waiting for your train. They have a water station on every floor. It's extremely clean and beautiful.

PERFECT HOTEL! Loved everything about my 2 night stay. The decor, the comfortable mattress, high end bed sheets, rooftop bar, Aesop bathroom soap, friendly staff, amazing breakfast buffet and coffee, quiet room. Literally, not one bad thing to say. I travel a lot for work and stay at a lot of different hotels. Populus is perfect. Will be my go to hotel every time I am in Seattle!

The man who checked us in was so kind and resourceful. Offered to upgrade our room for my birthday and offered a free round of drinks.

Front staff was so helpful! I forgot my toothbrush and was provided a small bag with essentials.

It’s a beautiful property. All of the plant life is incredible. Rooftop bar, great restaurant. It’s hard to beat.
-
rooms are well designed, clean, and chic.
-
Literally the only thing I would change is the in-room coffee. Everything else is top notch.
-
Lovely integration of nature, reclamation and high quality

Wish I had more time at this hotel. Everything was done so well. Highly recommend

But.. the bed, which I think was only a year old was slumped/sloped to the edge. Toilet I had to repair... Rooftop cocktail bar was v. nice. Was pretty expensive so I would have expected pretty close to perfect for the stay. I thought it was pretty cheeky to only offer a cup of coffee with the stay. Feels a bit penny pinch and cheapens the freebie... Like put in a continental breakfast or nothing at all as it won'f feel like "that's it -- for a $500 a night room I get a cup of coffee" kind of thing. Nice overall but not sure I will go back... value for money.

Wonderful location for all things Pioneer Square - well appointed rooms with nice linens and beds AND pet friendly. The in-room coffee situation, however, is pretty sad. Tea kettles and pour over packets in the room but the quality is awful and they are not super user friendly or fast. Drip coffee from the barista at the coffee stand is almost undrinkable and they don't open until 7am, which isn't great for us earlier risers. Do yourself and favor and drag yourself over to Zeitgeist if you want decent brew.

The Populus - beautiful plants and flowers adorn the entrance, clean modern vibes inside. The rooms are spectacularly clean, dark and moody, and well designed. The free cup of coffee in the morning while looking out at the city is a highlight. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Great stay!

Such a fantastic hotel! Loved everything about it. The staff was wonderful. The building and rooms themselves were charming. It is my new favorite place to stay in Seattle!
-
Impeccable excellence in a central location convenient to the best of Seattle. Unsurpassed service with prompt text message shortly after our checkout telling us important medication had been left in the room refrigerator. Excellent brunch with finest ingredients prepared and served flawlessly. Highly recommended!

This is our new go to! Such a great, quiet, clean environment! Highly recommend!

Beautiful, stylish hotel in a fun and location. Comfortable and welcoming common's spaces; beautiful and interesting local art. Terrific amenities, including complimentary morning coffee or tea (including lattes, matcha, etc), in-room tea kettle and great tea and pour-over coffee. Comfortable bed and small sofa. Aesop toiletries. The rooftop bar has an incredible beverage program (but skip the milk punch; go for the AMAZING sea-tini). Great breakfast at Salt Harvest (where you can also get your comped morning tea/coffee). Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

We recommend a meal at 84 Yesler (7 min walk), a fantastic casual fine dining experience. Unfortunately there were maintenance issues with our room. The AC was broken so the room was too hot, and the sink was clogged. We only stayed one night and arrived pretty late, and were too tired to change room.

Stunning hotel, cute walkable neighborhood. Amazing stay for games and concerts since it’s walking distance to the stadiums and several bars. Plenty of street parking as well. Staff was so kind, left me a piece of cake and a handwritten note when they heard it was my birthday. Also upgraded us to a corner suite to celebrate. Above and beyond staff <3
