The breakfast was truly a bonus and the location was perfect.

Nice hotel with indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was better than most hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gym had almost nothing in it. We went to the hot tub one night, and there were 3 guys drinking heavily and playing music loudly at the table next to it. The highway is right out the front door, so it was a little loud at night.

This hotel met our expectations and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would rebook this hotel.

The only thing I would recommend is to get rid of the carpet. Musty smell our allergies acted up. Other than that great! Shower was amazing and soft pillows

This is the best place to stay in Schertz. Have been staying there for a long time and it's always clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and the breakfast it's always so good.

Love the hot tub breakfast was great the room was clean it just had a sour smell. Didn't appreciate the housekeeper using her key and enter our room without knocking. I told the manager he act like he didn't care, so I decided not to go back at this hotel

I only had contact with the DAY staff at the front desk and she was a delight and very helpful. She needs to be considered AN ASSET. The breakfast bar was adequate and the staff assisting was pleasant and always at the ready to help with any questions or needs. Rooms need a little TLC - carpet worn, blackout drapes are loosing their blackout fabric. Shower nozzle needs to be updated. It lacked water pressure and I was unable to move the direction or flow.

Attended a concert in Selma and it ended later so we got a room here. The facility itself is clean. The room was clean no issues, my husband loved that you can access the balcony from the room. It has a beautiful aesthetic inside and out. The pool is in the middle of a courtyard with surrounding tables that allows guests to eat and enjoy a swim. The continental breakfast had a variety and was nice and fresh. Would definitely return for another staycation in the future.

I found this little gem trying to save a little money on a tournament weekend. The hotel was well-kept, our rooms were incredibly clean and well-maintained, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was very good and well-attended. There is a really pretty atrium that added a neat touch. It had a sense of personal ownership that reminded me of when hotels were run and managed by families. Great stay!

I liked the atrium area. We also liked the indoor pool even though we wish it were bigger. Needs to be renovated.

Room was great! Spacious, real comfy bed, and had a large hanging closet and lots of drawers for anyone planning a long stay. Our room was by the atrium with the pool. Was really cool that our sliding glass door opened up straight out to the atrium and we easily could've just walked out to get in the pool. Our son and grandbaby live in the area and we will definately be back when we come to visit later on. This hotel will be our 1st choice.

VERY clean rooms. The beds have what appeared to be a full bed bug-proof cover under the sheets. The room had no smell at all, the ac was cool and quiet, and the toiletries (while only big enough for one bath) smelled like bathing with oranges. It was wonderful. 1) Every room has a sliding glass door to the parking lot. It made my daughter and I feel very unsafe. The good part is that it did have a built-in door jam. I would have preferred no door there at all. 2) The beds were VERY hard! They were so hard I kept waking up to try and get comfortable. My daughter had the same issue of difficulty sleeping because the beds were so hard.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming -- and there was a Bible in the nightstand! The Atrium was GORGEOUS, with many flowering plants and two huge palm trees that were all the way to the ceiling. It is the prettiest pool area, and it's perfect for relaxing in the little patio area. The breakfast was delicious, the eggs were moist, and the biscuits were fluffy and not dry at all. Very conveniently located, just about 5mins to Wal-Mart for any forgotten items, and a Domino's practically next door -- so close you can drive through the parking lots to get back to the hotel. Only about 15mins from Natural Bridge Caverns. It's absolutely a place I recommend and will stay again -- but I'll be sure to get a second floor room next time. 1) Every room has a sliding glass door to the parking lot. Breakfast and kitchen staff was very good. Common areas were very clean. Beds were clean & comfortable. Room was not as good. Carpet was very dirty with obvious liquid spills. Shower had black hair on tfe wall. Not ours - we are gray.

The pool and hot tub were taken over by a bunch of kids and no one else could use it. They were real rowdy and loud. Running down the halls screaming and making noise. It was a weekend and a holiday weekend as well so that might have been the problem!

The property was clean, the staff was just okay, the were. It rude or anything just no really friendly. The Ac smelt like mold. The bed was pretty comfortable, I would walk around the room barefoot though. I didn’t like the fact that there were people hanging out in the property that were not guests. The was a truck in the parking lot on the side of the building hanging out drinking. There was also a homeless man on the side of the building walking around watching our every move, just didn’t feel safe

The property location was perfect for our weekend, the atrium and pool area and hot tub were a bigger win. Check in was easy! Our last night there, one of the staff was rude to my children.

We had a very pleasant stay. This hotel has an atrium with beautiful tropical plants surrounding a swimming pool with jacuzzi and several tables to enjoy just relaxing in the middle of the hotel. We had a nice stroll around the atrium in the evening, we had a very good breakfast before we left.

Went into 4 different rooms and all had a mildew smell to where we could not stay at all

The motel was amazing with its amenities! Staff were very nice. Room was clean. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The only complaint I have, is that the beds were terribly hard. That was easy to overlook with all the other things, but would be spectacular with a little bit softer beds. Great stay!!!

Our room was 85F when we walked in and it took hours to cool off. This is my 1 and only complaint. They knew we were coming, so they could of had it at least 75F for us. The room was clean, the breakfast was fine, but walking into the hot room was not fun. It did cool off by 10ish that night, but was just uncomfortable.

Two words- BED BUGS!!! The room was so infested the bugs were crawling on the pillows. Thankfully, I saw the bugs before unpacking .

It was a beautiful hotel, only downside was it was so hot. The upstairs where we stayed had the air conditioning turned off we checked in at 6:30 and our room did not start to cool off until midnight.

We stayed Aug 15th 2025 room 208. To start the hallway and the room smelled my wife had to spray her perfume. Then we found food in the refrigerator. The reason for my three star score had to do with the front and breakfast staff. The facilities (room, lobby, maintenance, cleanliness) were excellent. I showed the front desk the mold on the lamp shade and they gave us another room with the same issue and told us we had to deal with it. They didn't even discount or comp the room upon the nasty unsafe environment.

On our 10 day road trip and stays at five different motels, the Best Western gets our best rating. The only minor thing that bothered us was the sink area. It was not very wide for accommodating our items. My wife's items needed to be removed or mine did when one of us used the sink. The breakfast was good, the sleeping area was nice, and restuarants were close by.

Let’s just say the outside doesn’t match the inside. I was pleasantly surprised how it looked inside. It smelled great. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was not bad. You can tell our room had a water leak at one time but overall wasn’t a bad stay.

We were traveling with another couple and when we checked in, we had a room but when the other couple went to their room, someone’s stuff was already in there. The attendant said they had no more rooms available, so we all had to load up all our stuff and drive 2 hours away to another hotel, because there were no more hotels in town available. It was very late at night and incredibly inconvenient

I have stayed in at this facility at least 5-6 times and each time it's been a fantastic experience. The Owner is so sweet, he never misses extending a warm greeting to his guest.

Very clean & quiet….close driving distance to downtown San Antonio/Riverwalk

In the middle of the night something has bitten me and it was bed bugs. I checked the bed and found bed bugs. I informed them and they immediately changed me to another room but, that’s terrible finding bed bugs in the bed.

1. Check in was at 3, they didn't let us in till 4:30 after we drove for 3 hours. 2. My friend woke me up at 3:45am to tell me there was a bed bug on her. We packed up, went down stairs to get another room. We waited for 20 minutes and no one showed up so had to leave a d drive at 4:30am back home. 3. We put the dead bed bug on a napkin and left it in their drop box along with the key card, yet they denied there were any bugs in the room.

The hall and stairs did not get vacuumed once the four days we were there. It needed it. Our room keys had multiple issues of not working. The staff was very friendly. The hot tub was nice. The breakfast was good.

Very clean and friendly staff.

They were very accommodating with our school function and even let the kids check in early to get ready for the event. The breakfast was fresh and had several choices. The only negative was the bed was too firm for my liking and the elevator was very slow.

Heads ups! When you book a room at this motel make sure you ask if the room is facing I-35? If it is then get ready for vibration and the sounds of highway noise ALL NIGHT LONG! Similar to having the Indi Race way outside your room! I ask if we could change rooms, and we were accommodated. However, if the motel was fully booked it would have been a very long and sleepless night.

I've stayed here probably 4 times now and each time was very enjoyable.

Pretty nice place, not crowded, breakfast is good, room is clean. Furniture should be replaced, coz it's pretty old. Recommend this place!

This stay way very average. The rating was very misleading as I expected the hotel facilities different. It was a very outdated looking hotel. Room had old water marks and bed sheets were clearly old and heavily used. While it was clean, it truly could not notice past how outdated everything was. Location is really good yet noisy with traffic. Parking was sufficient yet construction on highway has one entrance closed.

The location was in close proximity to Walmart and H‑E‑B (grocery store) as well fast food and restaurants. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast options were tasty. The room and bathroom clean and fresh. I enjoyed two nights feeling comfortable and enjoyed two good nights of sleep.

Overall I liked the place. However, the heater was broken in my room. They first offered to replace the unit. I declined that offer. They they offered to move me to a ground floor room. I declined as San Antonio was having warm weather. Other than the broken heater, the place was nice.

Inside atrium pool and hot tub is clean and working and fabulous. Our room is clean and nice. We arrived early and were able to check in— check in guy was wonderful. Overnight check in guy was abrupt. We have two beds and we sleep cold. I asked for two extra blankets and he was adamant at only giving one — I guess I’ll sleep cold tonight since I will give my kids the one extra blanket. Cash only for little store in lobby if you need toiletries or a snack. Overall our stay is great and will return.

Weather protected pool and hot tub was nice. The hotel is quiet during the week. Hot breakfast was really nice. Staff was super friendly. Local traffic and construction can be a hassle but thats San Antonio. The hotel is a great value and I will be staying there again.

There were some roaches in my daughter's room as well as in the breakfast area. The desk chair in my room caused me injury as the back support on the chair was broken and I nearly threw out my back. That chair needs to go in the trash. We've stayed here before and had no trouble. Hopefully they will fix these issues.

We were just in town for a couple of days. The hotel was in a great location for us. Property was nice and well kept for the price point. Room was nice, spacious, and comfy - as was the bed. Had a good shower. The complimentary hot breakfast was pretty good. Property could be a bit dicey to get to because of traffic. A note that there is a lot of road construction in that part of San Antonio.

A very nice hotel—especially for the price. Pretty atrium and very attentive staff. It’s clear they care about the property and the guest experience. And I appreciate the help I received from Yogi and Easy when I needed something printed. Would stay here again!

It's a nice, quiet little hotel, next to the freeway with very good facilities. I will definitely come again.

It was close to where we were visiting. We were givin room in 1st floor near common area, maybe that's the reason it was pretty noisy.

Great place and clean

Staff was very nice at check in and check out. Property is a little dated but it was clean as was our room. We booked through Expedia and had no issues. There was a good variety offered for breakfast. Depending on where your room is, you may hear traffic from the highway but it wasn't enough to keep us awake. Basic toiletries provided and there was a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. Pool was nice but we didn't get to swim. Would stay again.

My go to pick when I am in the Schertz area for work. The service clerks are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable but I noticed the body wash and shampoo in the shower were empty. Other than that everything was wonderful.

The indoor pool and Hot Tub were very useful on a rainy day.

We absolutely love this best western come here every time when on vacation. Free breakfast is a plus and swimming pool inside it is great.

My family and I stayed here 1 night before going to Schlitterbahn. Place was very clean, beds were comfortable, A/C was cool and we enjoyed the indoor pool. Hot breakfast in the morning was good, especially the waffles. My son wished they offered bacon but they did not. Our mini fridge wasn't super cold but it eventually cooled our drinks. Would stay here again if in the area. Price was reasonable.

The hotel is very old and the carpet smells like feet terrible . The room is cleaned but the smell is in the old carpet felt uneasy to walk barefooted … my bathroom did not have a trash bin so we threw the paper in the toilet and it clogged ! Front desk told us to go get a plunger from front desk! Embarrassing ! WTH ! I just can’t with the musty smell of the rooms and the old look in the beds … the hallways were hot ! A lot of workers in the hotel mostly make just a heads up … you can see 4/5 per room … if you are ok in staying in an older hotel that’s clean but you are not picky about smells or your toilet clogging then this is your choice
