This is a spectacular hotel with modern updated rooms, fabulous balconies and excellent breakfast options every morning. The rooftop bar is absolutely amazing at night! Nothing to not like! There is a noisy rooster in the area if you sleep with your shutters open. ?

No positives after all the negatives. Horrible experience with this hotel The hotel is full of ridiculous rules that make it impossible to relax and enjoy your time. Our room smells strongly of fresh paint, yet the AC is turned off and we’re not allowed to turn it on, even though the room is uncomfortably hot. When asked for at least a fan, they didn't have for us either. We also bought a bottle of wine from a local winery (we are in Italy, after all), and were told we’re not allowed to have it anywhere on the hotel premises. That’s honestly unbelievable. It gets worse, we even received complaints for asking for an iron and using it for more than an hour. I've never experienced anything like this at any hotel. This is especially disappointing considering we upgraded to one of their "comfort" rooms and spent well over $700 at their "Michelin star" restaurant. Despite spending significantly, guests are treated more like a problem than customers. Overall, this has been a very disappointing and frustrating stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff at the majestic was phenomenal! It made our experience feel luxurious! They accommodated all of our needs. The small dining experience was exceptional! The vegetable, fruit and herb gardens were unexpected. We will be back.

It was a beautiful place with breathtaking views!!! Nothing!!!

The staff were incredible.

Answers to touring and travel questions at front desk were poor. We followed advice and missed connections and lost out on a planned visit to Ravello. Their response next day was oh too bad... You never can tell with busses. They should have warned us of time restrictions and suggested spending a bit more and going by jet ferry.

The property itself is gorgeous, even more so than the photos. The Don Geppi experience was phenomenal, as was the staff and their kind attention to detail. We stayed here for our wedding, and they made sure to highlight this special moment for us. Lastly, the bath products were amazing, and we made sure to stop by the Carthusia Profumerie on our next stop to Capri to take a little bit of this special scent home. The only thing that could have been better was that the pillows were slightly flat.

The pool and rooftop terrace were excellent. Our dinner at Don Geppe restaurant is one of the most memorable experiences of our time in Sorrento/ San Agnello. It was expensive but worth every penny. The hotel staff in all areas were simply delightful. Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Problem with window closure during wind storm. Wind kept blowing window and shutters open. 30 minute walk to Sorrento centre. Not a huge problem but people with issues should be aware. NB The exercise was probably a good thing with all the good eating that was going on.

Booking Very old furniture and smells bad too far from the center
-
Only small thing was it was a little far from the town but we didn’t mind walking.
-
Large room and emaculate facilities. Professional staff from front desk to the bar.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. This hotel was a major letdown, especially for anyone considering it for a family stay. To begin with, the property is not family friendly, despite what’s advertised. There were no kid-friendly amenities. The biggest disappointment was the difference between the online photos and the actual place. The pictures made it look clean, and well-maintained, but in reality, the rooms were outdated and showed clear signs of wear and tear—chipped furniture, and poor lighting. It felt like a bait-and-switch situation. Customer service was polite but not very helpful when we brought up our concerns. We ended up cutting our stay short and looking for another option that was more suitable. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially to families or anyone expecting the level of quality shown in the pictures.

Wow! Amazing views from our balcony. The location was perfect. We loved the pool. The cocktail lounge on the roof was beautiful.
