Hotel Corallo Sorrento

Beautiful hotel with many areas to socialize plus a pool a bonus. Incredible views across to Capri. Shuttle bus into town through to the evening was a bonus. Some of the bedrooms were tiny and dark.

Small but adequate roon

The view was lovely and food was very good. We were there on April 14-16 (3 nights) and the temperature outside was 18. We were on the top floor with no air conditioning as they told us it was not turned on until May. I explained it was extremely hot on the top floor and was told to open the window. They don't have screens on their windows. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep as we were stuck to the sheets. Further more we were literally next to the elevator which was 2 1/2 feet from our door and it was very loud.

Everything about the hotel was amazing, the pictures do not do it justice, it is 10x more beautiful in person. The staff were so helpful and were there to answer any questions. Breakfast was 10/10!

When an issue arose the manager and staff were keen to resolve it. The setting of the bar is stunning with amazing views over towards the bay of Naples, perfect location to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. Courtesy bus into the town of Sorento is appreciated especially as it is a busy road to walk along. Internally all the communal areas, bars and restaurant are light and well decorated. The room was nowhere near as luxurious as described on booking.com. In the description on booking.com the recently refurbished deluxe room should have a hot tub and dressing room; we had neither! Initially we were shown a large room with a kingsize bed and two other single beds in the room, with a very poor view of the bay from the balcony, which certainly wasn't private, due to a set of stairs running along side it. The bathroom was a standard bathroom with a shower. Absolutely nothing deluxe about it at all. We complained and in fairness the manager tried to resolved the problem, so we moved a few floors higher, which gave us a much better view. However, the room still had the kingsize bed and another single bed in the room, so no seating area. We had booked a deluxe room for two people, so why we were continually shown/offered rooms with more than one bed in, just doesn't make sense. The staff and manager believe if a room is big, it is deluxe regardless of the facilities offered! Our experience is we had a standard room at a deluxe price!

Spectacular sea views from the back of hotel. Amazing customer throughout the hotel - front desk to catering. Very happy and welcoming staff. Food and wine menu was very impressive. The best hotel we stayed at through our visit to Italy. Slight smell from the sink or shower. My guest broke into a rash - I think it had to do something with the bedsheets. You may want to look into the type of washing detergents used. Limited toilet paper provision. Need at two new rolls per day. Could benefit from in-room iron / ironing board provision. We ended up steaming the clothes.

Stunning views! Nice spacious room which goes a long way when you’re on holiday! Staff were very friendly and had a welcome drink for us that we enjoyed on the terrace with the most beautiful views. Breakfast yummy and good bar. Shuttle to town very frequently which was such a blessing as it’s about a 8-10 min drive. Loved having Netflix on the TV! Makes getting ready for a day out a lot more fun! Maybe more selection of western breakfast like some hash browns or mushrooms and beans but this is being very picky! WiFi could be better. Mattress a bit on the hard side for me but again this is being quite picky as it was a lovely stay overall

The photographs of the hotel were true to life - the views were incredible. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food and service brilliant. There is nothing negative to say, and would thoroughly recommend as a wonderful place to stay. Nothing

Exceptional

The location was very nice. The rooms were good and so was the pool. The artificial grass at the pool got way too hot in the sun. The food was very slow to arrive. The food wasn’t all that good for the price of the property.

Beautiful and clean. Staff was very good. front desk was very knowledgeable. We had an early morning car ride so we were to miss the breakfast. They packed us a breakfast to go bag which was great. Far from town but the shuttle was good. He doesn’t run from noon until 5pm however so you’d have to plan accordingly.

beautiful view My family and I stayed 3 nights in Positano before traveling to Hotel Corallo. Rocks fell on the road and so the road was closed, which was unavoidable. We chose to take the ferry to Sorrento. Hotel Eden Roc was very kind and concerned for our comfort and called Hotel Corallo to ask if a ride could be arranged to pick us up at Marina Piccola. Unfortunately I was unaware that our ride was calling our delayed ferry because my phone was not working on the boat. Therefore our driver was very inconvenienced which I understand. I would have also understood if I had been told that the hotel was close enough that we could have gotten a ride within minutes and didn't need a special car or driver. I knew nothing about the process and never meant to cause cause trouble. I had no control over how late the ferry was as well. Not only was I repeatedly chewed out by the driver who kept repeating he had a sign with our name (that was upside down and folded in half flapping in the wind). I was also repeated chewed out by the lady at check in. I believe her name is Rica. She proceeded 3 times to explain to me that everyone was very inconvenienced by my late ferry and that a ride wasn't necessary. I explained that my previous hotel was setting it up to be kind and that I had no knowledge of what was needed as it was my first time here. Finally I told her I did not need to be shamed and that I would NOT have ever deliberately done such a thing. I was exhausted and ready to cry. Therefore my husband asked her why she was being mean to me. She continued to justify her behavior by explaining to him how much trouble I caused. I spent over €3500 for 3 nights and at that point I regretted it and wanted to leave but did not because I knew I'd never recover that money and wanted to believe the rest of the stay and staff would behave differently. Write your review patio and offered us a free "lemonade" which was the last thing I wanted.

Everything! Beautiful hotel, we went in May and it wasn’t too busy. Loads of places to sit out/sunbathe. Perfect to watch the sunset in stunning scenery. Brilliant location. Nothing

Everything!!! It’s hard to tell for sure what you are getting until you get there, but Corallo exceeded my expectations! The staff was amazing! The rooms were perfect and clean. The food was amazing especially breakfast and sunset dinners. The view is perfect too. We are sad to leave, but plan to come back. It’s the perfect distance away from all the busy crowds of Sorrento. Thank you for making our 10 year anniversary trip awesome!!! Nothing
