The location is good, 20 min walk from Sorrento city centre, the hotel has its own beach club, tennis court and a pool. 1. Staff Behavior at Checkout The most disappointing aspect of our experience was the behavior of the staff at checkout. During our stay at the beach club, we asked about purchasing cigarettes, and a staff member kindly brought us a pack. However, at checkout, another employee suddenly demanded payment of €6 in cash for that pack. We had already spent nearly €1000 on our stay and were ready to settle any extras by card, but he insisted on cash only. When we explained we had no cash, the staff member started shouting at us loudly and aggressively at the reception desk, in front of other guests. This was humiliating and unacceptable, not at all the service standard one would expect — not even in a three-star property. This single incident left a very negative impression and spoiled the overall stay. 2. Facilities – Gym The gym does not have air conditioning. Considering the hot climate, this makes the gym nearly unusable during much of the day. For a hotel in this price category, this is a serious oversight and should be addressed immediately. 3. Breakfast Quality Breakfast quality was underwhelming. In particular, the scrambled eggs were poorly prepared and lacked taste. At this level of accommodation, more attention to breakfast variety and quality is expected. 4. Accessibility to the Sea Another point worth mentioning is the lack of elevators or direct, accessible pathways to the sea. Guests are required to take a steep walk with many stairs, which is not only tiring but also potentially dangerous or impossible for people with disabilities, families with small children, or elderly guests. This issue significantly limits accessibility and comfort. Conclusion The property has attractive features, but the lack of professionalism among some staff members, combined with weak facilities and accessibility issues, overshadow the positives.

The property was absolutely lovely! The gardens were so well maintained and peaceful. The pool and beach were so relaxing! Absolutely nothing!

Breakfast was amazing. Hotel grounds were gorgeous. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Giuseppe the Chef Concierge was amazing and always available with suggestions . Also such a very very nice man. The hotel itself was very nice as well! Definitely a 5 star hotel all the way! Everything is great!

The garden is beautiful and the view at the bar at sunset is beautiful. The beach club is nice but very small. The hotel needs a DESPERATE renovation. It smells mouldy, the bathrooms are old, the shower and drains smell like sewage, the shower itself was tiny and what you would expect in a 3-star hotel. The walls and doors are very thin, we were woken up multiple times by other guests. We could literally hear the people in the room next door talk. Yes, maybe this was a 5-star hotel 10 years ago... now it should lose at least 2 or 3 of those stars. The gym and spa.. I can't describe the spa rooms. They were so old and borderline creepy. The gym has great light and almost has a retro feel as it's so old. The breakfast room is cute and there is so much staff to help with anything. The bathrooms near the breakfast room are almost funny as they are so old and none of the doors have locks?

Spectacularly beautiful “old world “ charm. The concierge, Giuseppe, is the best we have ever encountered. He takes great care of his guests. We loved everything about this hotel.
-
The luxurious feels of everything and the secluded haven that it was. Food prices were very expensive in my opinion

The highlight for us was the staff - everyone was incredibly helpful and kind and also funny! We'll definitely miss them! The location was great, views were lovely from the hotel grounds, the pool was really big and and comfortable lounges, pool bar was very handy as well, and the pool service was good. The hotel restaurants were really great - food was amazing and service was incredible, as were the sea views from the Japanese-fusion restaurant. Our room was large and the beds were incredibly comfortable! Housekeeping does an amazing job; daily housekeeping plus the option of clean towels in the evenings was really great. We usually don't get up for hotel breakfasts but Cocumella's buffet breakfast was incredible! We were there almost every day, the selections are fresh and vast, and the staff are really lovely and attentive! The gardens on the grounds were absolutely beautiful and incredibly well kept! Very peaceful and accessible. Free shuttle to/from town was very handy! Hotel gym is a good size with lovely windows to the garden. Although the pool was great, in peak times there wasn't enough sun lounges for all guests and unfortunately the pool closes at 7pm each day which was a little upsetting for us as it's still sunny/hot at that time and we would have loved to swim. This is not the hotels fault but beware there are kids there, it is not adults only.

Beautiful and serene environment. Very easy and fast to get to Sorrento. Nice pool and beach setup. We traveled with kids that are generally well behaved but like to laugh and have fun in the pool. We were told multiple times that they need to be quieter. And I heard them tell another family with kids, who were happily playing in the pool, to also be quiet. I get it, but they should have been clearer up front. And 2 of the 4 nights we were there they had weddings with loud music. Seems ironic that we were being told to be quiet....
