I was not able to stay the front desk person requested a additional deposit in cash and then I was told that there is no internet and WiFi and also they wanted to give me a two Deb room when I reserved a king bed I couldn’t stay because I didn’t have cash for the deposit

The very few other guests were nice Rooms filthy, no tv at all, bedding and towels stained, door could be pushed open without turning the knob, unsafe, pics of hotel on webpages do not represent current conditions, pool was green and swampy, broken concrete step leading up to 2 floor (the ONLY staircase there was)

When I arrived here, I waited for almost 30 minutes in a hot lobby with no AC because the computer wasn't working. After walking up a dangerous set of stairs with a loose concrete step, I opened my room. The attendant told me there was no cable or wifi. Okay, that's fine, it was a budget room. However, when I tried to turn the fan on, it was broken. The hotel advertised having basic amenities but it did not. The room was almost 75 degrees. I had to leave. I really wish I could get a refund but I was just happy to not stay there. You would have to pay someone to want to stay here. For the price you can get almost any cleaner room with at least basic AC and a working TV. Do not stay here. It is filthy. You will spend all night sweating.

When I arrived at the property around 7 PM, the receptionist informed me that there was no WiFi and no cable service available. These are basic amenities that were clearly expected and not mentioned as unavailable at the time of booking. Because of this, I immediately told her I wanted to cancel my reservation. She said I needed to contact Booking.com directly, so I called them while standing right next to her. The Booking.com representative told me they would contact the hotel to arrange a full refund due to the situation. At that moment, the receptionist told me she would cancel it directly with her manager. However, after I left the hotel, I received an email from the property stating that they could not cancel for free because I “had enough time to cancel before 2 PM.” This makes absolutely no sense. I only discovered that there was no WiFi when I arrived at 7 PM. How could I cancel before 2 PM for an issue I wasn’t informed about in advance? I tried contacting the hotel again to resolve this, but they refused to cooperate or issue a refund. This feels very dishonest and unprofessional. Basic services were unavailable, and instead of resolving the issue fairly, they hid behind a cancellation deadline. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

Granted they accepted our late check in but other than that it was disappointing. I was not informed it was cash only. Nor did we receive any type of discount for the tv and wifi not working. And not to mention somebody from im assuming maintenance just walked in the room while I was asleep and im embarrassed to say undressed.

The bed. Fairly clean Room 106. No privacy lock, a bag was covering the fire alarm, toilet seat was not attached and no place to hang towels, cigarette burn holes in the blankets, toiletries for one and did not clean the room (possibly a good thing) but that meant no toiletrie refills, no iron\board. There was a microwave but no fridge. Only one plug would hold any charger but it would only work when the light switch was on, did not find this out until the morning our phones weren't charged. There was no personal lighting by the bedside. Large table for no reason and the small TV was not centered to the bed

It had roaches, the non smoking rooms had burnt holes on the sheets from smoking. We had to ask the owners for stuff to clean the restroom cause it did not look sanitized.

Terrible. Honestly this place should be shut down and condemmned Super small room in a shady roach motel with several hobos hanging around. People break into your car if you're not constantly checking on it. Very unclean I skipped sleeping because it looked like the bedsheets hadn't been changed like ever. Several cigarette burns and blood and semen stains everywhere

The only good thing and positive is that the location was great near SeaWorld San Antonio TX that's where we were going to this weekend. The price was to high for those two rooms, their is drug activity going on from one side of the hotel people going in and out, management don't even do the beds the day after, their no cleaning crew, the pictures on booking is false advertising and the rooms are awful

The room's furniture was old scratched and with no handles on the drawers, the restroom was dirty. The room did not have a coffee pot. The whole room needed to be cleaned thoroughly and remodeled. I do not recommend this type of hotel to anyone.

The towels and pillowcases seemed as though they had not been washed properly, and the mattress emitted a very funky odor, raising serious concerns about hygiene. The exterior of the building was equally alarming. The area was filled with individuals who appeared to be homeless, alcoholics, and drug users, making it feel very unsafe, especially for families with children. To make matters worse, there seemed to be drug dealers staying at the hotel, with suspicious people lurking in and out of the hotel area day and night. I even noticed some gang members hanging around the premises, which only heightened my sense of unease. The security measures at the hotel are severely lacking. There are numerous blind spots around the building due to an insufficient number of cameras, making the area feel even more unsafe. The staff did not help improve the experience. The check-in person was very rude and abrasive, adding to the overall negative impression of the hotel. In summary, this hotel is not a safe or comfortable place to stay, particularly for families. I don’t blame the hotel, I blame Expedia for giving this place a 4 star rating when every other place gives a 1-2 star rating. Broken peeling walls, bugs, broken shower. We lasted about 20 minutes before we decided to leave. Felt unsafe and decided to go. Staff was nice.

Did the manager have his dog in a small fenced section by the entrance to the lobby? Yes. Was our room musty? Yes. Were the sheets dirty? Also, again, another yes. Did we feel safe? No. Did we leave, jump ship, and checkout an hour after check in? Yes.

Cigarette burns in the bedding. The Bible was desecrated. Foul language written on/ in it. A dirty pot/lid was found in the fridge with someone’s leftover beans. The filth under the beds was unreal.

The cleaning lady was so nice and so was the front desk. The room was not ready when we got there but they lady tryed her best to fix it for us.

It was overall ok. The only downfall was they put me in a smoking room and i had to deal with the awful smell . Im pretty it made it seem 10 times worse since im pregnant. I wanted a non smoke room but they said unfortunelty thats all they had and i had booked in over a week ago. The room was comfortable to stay and sleep in. They did come in and clean and redo our beds etc.

This was a terrible place to stay. The room was not cleaned. The AC unit was about to come off the wall. There was no customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a locate that look like drug deals happen. Do not stay here at all.

Place is trash. Stray dogs running around the parking lot, seems like the owners dogs. You have to pay $20 deposit just to get the remote to the tv. Owner was very rude and disrespectful. My mother had passed away the same day and her showing a little kindness wouldve went a long way, instead she was ugly and rude. We arrived and the receptionist was hitting on me and disrespecting my girlfriend. He gave us a room key with “109” on it and told me to ignore the number and that it was “106.” We went to room 106 after he gave more nasty remarks and the room was already occupied. We left.

I have been in the same room since October 31st and I payed the $40 deposit and booked for another day November 1-2 and yet had to pay $20 early check-in when I am in the same room which did not need to be cleaned or serviced then I payed in person before checkout time and was charged another $20 deposited on same room so I booked and payed a 3 day stay online pay in full with at Hotel com for 3-6 and was still in the same room and still woken up by staff to pay another $20 early check in when I am in the same room and have spent $60 plus every night since I used Hotel. com but if pay in person I will only pay for cost of stay so it is better to pay in person but yet I will not receive a stamp so I am wondering how I can go about this issue that has me confused over all rules are rules so I guess since I am limited in my fund will not be using Hotel. com anymore unless I could be remembered

This property is clean and people are friendly the swimming pool is pretty and also clean has everything you need for a night stay a frig microwave tv ac and did I say clean which is a plus on my book and the price is better than others

You get what you pay for. From the entrance the lady asked my name for the reservation . She then said oh ok it a 1 bed room. I said no i booked a 2 bed room and she started to tell me that was impossible to get that price for her hotel. She gave me a 5 minute spill of how much she charges for a single bed. When i showed her my reservation details on my phone she still was saying that was wrong. I told her i needed my room and she needed to figure out pri e issues with hotels.com as i am just the customer that booked it online. She finally gave in an said sure whatever. Room smelled instantly walking in. Like jesus i swear your great..great ...great grandmothers house dont smells this rancid. Then the room was vedy humid even with ac on. Bathroom tub looked like it was from 1980 it was peeling everywhere and yellow. Sink wasnt draining and toilet wouldnt flush. Youd have to fill it up from sink water to be able to flush. Under the beds and around had some white powder sprinkled all over. Im assuming it was some insecticide. Not appealing at all. Just overall gross.

For the price of the room I would have liked to be in a fresh cleaned room. Don't use your points for this property as I did. I would have thought John Wayne stayed there and 60 years later I stayed there. The room had 30 year old carpet and the floors was lumpy. Needs to be shut down and knockdown and rebuilted

I didn't expect much from a 2.8 rating, but this is terrible place to stay. Hallway is dark and dirty, room is smelly, pillow has dark stain, bathroom is terrible, bathtub coating all peeled off with cigarette burn everywhere. I was never so eager to leave the place next morning.

Tiles are old and bathtubs were painted and the rooms smell bad. I couldn’t do it and left. Send somebody there! And there are ash trays in both rooms I saw. It stinks in there.

It was clean and shockingly quiet. I had been there with previous owners and they sure have changed this place for the better. The bedding looked washed and crispy white. No fear of dirty linen

The service was good but rooms are run down, not very clean, has no room phone, and the beds are so uncomfortable. Bathroom looks like it needs to be bleached towels are very thin and small. Shaggy looking. Honestly was scared to get in the shower.

I checked in on time the room was used and filthy. The microwave had an old burger inside. The floor had nail clippings. No towels were available. The shower was filthy. Overall, the room was so poor. The condition was so unsafe. I'm afraid it will callapse any day. The building is not up to code. The area was not safe, it was dangerous for my family.

However, it became a nightmare to me when they said my booking was cancelled, they couldnot do anything and asked me to make a direct reservation with them. You could imagine how struggling I were at 10PM with my 2.5y daughter in car and the fact that NO WHERE for her to sleep. This might be the first and last time I choose OYO as my rest place.

We paid for a double bed and they said they didnt have any available so they gave us a king size. We all had to sleep crammed up since it was very late and were tired. There was also a lot of activity of people walking back and forth that you could actually hear all the movements so we didnt sleep much. By the way, they will charge U extra if you are past check out time even its 5 min. U have to go turn in the remote to tv and key at the front office you'll get charged too if you don't. By the way there's an addt'l $50 deposit which will.be returned to you at check out.

Room was dirty missing tile on floors bed spread had cigarettes burns matress was all worn out could feel the metal wires flies in room,door didnt lock good and while showering dry peeling paint from shower was falling on my hair, guest across from us were arguing around 4 am only good thing was the receptionist lady was really nice and the air condition was cold stayed there 1 night only all other hotels were sold out due to the fiesta texas thats why we chose this one will i stay here again defenetly NO

What's more important is that the Management at OYO is not being honest with Expedia, prove this, that I paid you, but when I arrived they said there was no room available!?! Why, why did you chảged to my credit card, but there's no room for me?

They also advertise "breakfast included" and when I asked about it they said they dont include it. Pretry much stay away if you can. The lady that was rude was upset because we complained but she let us know we were lying and that we should know that its an "80 year old hotel" and we should expect it to be how it was.

I Requested a Non smoking Room Instead I got a Smoking room because that’s all they have left (disgusting odor when we walked inside the room) To tired to go back to the office to complain, never going back

Worse thing. We ended up checking out early. Toilet didn’t work at all. It had the worse smell. I didn’t even want to shower there.

Bathroom door refused to move and the room had a strong stench of cigarette smoke. We didn’t stay the night. Ownership refuses refunds past ten minutes of check in but check in starts at the moment they access the booking not after the lengthy check in process that ensures you don’t have enough time to see the room and promptly return to leave. We were frustrated that we ended up having to eat the cost but happy we didn’t stay here. I understand that you get what you pay for but this place wasn’t worth it still.

Being ex military I’ve stayed in low end third world accommodations that were VASTLY superior to this DUMP. There was graffiti on the bathroom door on both sides! There was a baggie of what looked like drugs under one of the beds. We had four people in two rooms NONE of us was Brave enough to use the bathrooms, they were THAT bad.

The parking was horrible. The location was not safe at all. His customer service was HORRIBLE!! We never got off our auto, went back to front desk and he refused to give me a refund. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

This the most terrible experience I ever had in a hotel everything was broken from the doors to the chest and the beds. The front door lock is broken the bathroom door won’t close the top of the chest is broken and the best are very old color brown and it have a lots of stains on them terrible very terrible.

When you want cheap... that’s exactly what you get! Some military dorms are much nicer, but I got what I paid for... 2 nights $112.

Honestly I’m not used to staying at places like this and I know why. At check in the worker was rude. My reservation was for a 2 bed and she slid my ID to me and said we don’t have 2 beds.
