Dirties place ever, the towels looks like a mechanic cleaned the hand before placing the towels in the bathroom, everything was dirty. Will never stay at any of their hotels. Very disappointed

I asked for another room and was somehow worse, so I got moved to a third one and was just like the first one. These are no living conditions not even for 1 minute. I booked a whole ween in advanced and didn’t even stayed there for 10 minutes. Pictures on the website are deceiving and not a real representation of what you will get. Also a lot of people doing drugs and watching you every move when you go in our out of you car, the location is not secure and very ghetto.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It was infested with roaches, our towels were dingy, the bathroom door was broken, the beds smelt like smoke, had burn marks in them. The people were up all hours of the night/early morning fighting, drug deals & possible prostitution going on next door to our room. There were thieves outside opening & breaking off magnetic alarms off merchandise. We couldn't even sleep worried if someone was gonna bust through our door. Never ever will we stay here again.

Dont be fooled...the room is as pictured on the website. But it is dirty. Blankets were stained as if it was not washed. The pillow cases were moldy. We had to ask for new sheets & pillow cases. Instead, we got the same kind of stained pillow cases and blankets. So I ended up buying a blanket to use. Towels looked like they were used rags. Which I didnt care for because I brought my own. AC was dirty, bathroom smelled like pee, fridge had ice chunks built up.

There was junkies in the walk ways trying to shoot up what i can only guess was herion. The smell of marijuana was saturated in my room that was filthy. I ended up spending most of my night in my car .

The towels had red stains. Sink and bathtubs were dirty in both rooms. A couple asked if my room was dirty also. Because theres was. I'm still waiting on my refund it's been a month now

My daughter and I have stayed here for an extended time, and I will definitely say that the staff is very friendly. Helpful with all your needs, and always on top of all request. To me this is home away from home. Very peaceful and clean. I would definitely recommend The Econo Lodge on Lackland the best place we've stayed thus far

I paid online and when I got there to check into the hotel, they charged me an additional eight dollars because he said that I paid online so an online fee is what he said so they scammed me. They didn’t change the sheets from the previous guest hotel was ran down I do not recommend

Staff was super nice. If you need somewhere just to lay your head for 4 hours and not worried about anything else this is the spot. If you’re worried about your room being clean, not smelling like an ash tray, or strange people walking through the parking lot, this isn’t the place.

I didn't know there was so much prostitution in that place, i actually feared for my life and my daughters. Also the door on room 223 that i was given didn't even close n i believe the regular custumers knew that because on the second day I saw a man leaving my room while another one was on watch and I'm not sure if anything was stolen, they both ran when i was spotted and when i told the staff, they told me to come back tomorrow at 7am because they had no rooms available, which is a lie they had plenty of rooms eveb thought i feered for my life. I could not sleep those days and would move the couch over to block the door. The laundry room did not work and they had no breakfast even though they advertise that they do. The pool had so much trash inside cause no one ever cleans it. Never in a million years will i ever stay there, not even if i was payed to do it.

Well was the worst experience of a motel there were alot of things wrong room wasn't cleaned restroom was filthy stains on the walls n doors broken tiles falling apart mold on the walls by the shower shower curtain was stained ceiling looked like it was patched up in a hurry the bed covers had burn holes and stains on them the door wouldn't lock properly and the door looked like it was kicked in and never repaired there was no trash can in the room and the staff was really rude I also have pictures of everything that was wrong was a waste of money and I would never book a room at this place ever again idk how yall have this property on ur site

I was not decent and trying to get out of the bathroom to answer the door, but then heard my door chain and i had to quickly come out and i see a hand in my door trying to unlock my chain lock, front desk staff trying to break in because they wanted to talk to me about my payment on an extension, but also told me they were trying to get in because they didnt think anyone was in there. But all of my stuff was there and the chain lock was on, so that made no sense. Just a whole mess. Would give 0 stars, place needs to be shut down or completely overhauled.

all the towels were very dirty and stained , the bed sheets had disgusting stains on them , i was very clear on a non smoking room and the room reaked of smoke , the beds also had holes in them from people smoking on the bed. there was german roaches everywhere getting on my belongings. the had zero hot water , it was ice cold . my first night i tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but at 3 am someone was shooting outside the hotel. the second night it was 5 in the morning and people on top of us sounded like they were drilling stuff , there was super loud thumping and running all the way till we checked out at 11. Highly won’t ever recommend this hotel !!!

He said ill move yall for and upcharge !! Howeee the freak your gonna do that and like we had paid for king size we ended up staying there move to a double queen size room .. and my husband called main customer service they call the property i go to take a quick shower in that moment whiles his on the phone and shes calling main property to see whats going on , the water shuts off i scream and told my husbnd theres no water they turned it off !! Because of all this going on like how !! Its not our fault they did all this wrong !! Like the hotel before know im like ugh sad about it

I never expected a very comfortable stay at a place I always considered a very low budgeted hotel. I will never underestimate a hotel by its name or judge it based on its name. This Econo Lodge was not only economical but it gave me a comfort feeding as if I were at home.

Do not stay here. Hardly nothing worked in the hotel. They do not offer breakfast as advertised. Very sketchy outside. They also do not have infant cribs or elevators. The floors were nasty, our feet were black after about 5 mins of no shoes. Hair dryer didn’t work, outlets didn’t work, some light switches didn’t work. Save your money. DO NOT STAY HERE

We witnessed individuals swapping drugs for money, we also witnessed a big fight to where the guy was throwing rocks towards our vehicle.

We stayed in room 126 and 127. Both rooms stunk so bad. There was no smoke detectors in the room. The bathtubs were in horrible shape. Not a good location for a family with children. Homelessness and had roaches , my family was sacred at night because somebody tried to open our door to the hotel at 3:00 am . Could use better management

The price is great. The staff seems a little shy not very friendly. The one thing that made me uncomfortable was the homeless population right next to the hotel. They made a tent village on the other side of the parking lot and it just made me feel unsafe.

Beer bottles left around the property. The rooms were not bad basically you get what you pay for. Chain locks didn’t work properly on two of our rooms. It has a feel that these people live there then people staying a few nights and leaving. Wouldn’t recommend taking kids there to be on the safe side! Drunk people out during the week nights at almost midnight beating on doors.

The worst hotel experience I have had. 1st room tv did not work. 2nd room refrigerator was off and moldy on the inside. 3rd room microwave did not work but I didn’t change rooms again. I was tired of packing up and moving. There was also a couple fighting in the door way of the room next to me. I told the office if it continued I was going to call the police. And to top it off the last room had no wash clothes or hand towels. I would not ever stay here again. And I would suggest no one else stay here.

When I checked in to my nonsmoking room it smelled like cigarettes covered with ax spray and when I went down for continental breakfast the doors were locked and the rude lady said there was no breakfast and I said you advertised breakfast she yelled there is no breakfast there wasn’t even coffee ….NO MORNING COFFEE !!!!!!!!

Worst stay I’ve ever had! Bugs everywhere in the hotel, some dead and majority of them alive. The room was extremely dirty with stays on the top bed sheet and smelled liked bad odor and dirt. The bathroom was disgusting and definitely was not sanitary. DO NOT STAY HERE!

It stated the have breakfast… they do not!! Plus we ordered a non smoking and the whole building is smoking. Cigarette burns on sheets, on walls. The whole location looked so shady. The beds were all uncomfortable and you can hear leaky faucets at night. This roof was also infested with roaches!!!! We checked out at 6AM will never come back! The white gentleman in the morning was super sweet and nice! However the two Indian people at night on checking where a bit rude and asked for an extra $50 hold on our cards. There was no notice anywhere online about this hold. We had the money but if you are on a budget and don’t expect this hold beware!

When we entered our room, we were appalled by the state of cleanliness. The floor was filthy, the furniture was stained and worn, and the bedding was riddled with cigarette burns. The overall ambiance was one of neglect and disrepair. I immediately requested a room change, hoping to salvage our family trip we were tired and in a unknown city. The second room appeared marginally better at first glance. However, when we turned on the lights, a cockroach scurried out from beneath a pillow on the bed. We literally ran out of the room. I approached the hotel staff to request a full refund. The staff member acknowledged our concerns but stated that the manager was unavailable and could not address the issue at that time. He offered to relocate us to another room, but by this point, we were deeply uneasy about remaining on the premises. The parking lot was virtuall empty except for a couple of suspicious-looking individuals loitering around a car at midnight. I contacted Expedia, who reached out to the hotel manager on our behalf. However, the manager refused to issue a refund. Given the unacceptable conditions of the hotel and the late hour, I believe Expedia should have taken the initiative to issue at least a partial refund to ease our troubles. We were forced to find and pay for a different hotel at midnight.

The water pressure in the shower was very low, no breakfast, no coffee.

False advertisement NO FREE breakfast (because of COVID) room was dirty and had cockroaches.

I ate a slice of pizza in my room and I dropped the last bit of it on the floor next to the dresser. When it touched the floor, instantly a small german cockroach ran out and looked inquisitively. It was almost cute, but cockroaches and gross and shouldn't be in the room so I got rid of it. The feral cats outside wouldn't come be petted. Those cats probably helped with rodent control but we're sometimes noisy fighting. Overall I got enough sleep and the room was decently clean as I could tell but I was certainly not happy with my stay.

They offer breakfast, and its not true, untill you get there they charge 50 dolr deposit, the room its not smoking, and the blanket was burn,

We rented out three rooms at this hotel and each room had something. The first one had two huge cockroaches in the shower curtain, that was the first red flag. After seeing those we did a more thorough search which is where we found dead cockroaches under the beds. The second room had a purple dildoe under the bed from the previous people. The third room had a used syringe next to the bed. This place may seem nice from the outside but the rooms are awful. We did not stay and left immediately. Unfortunately they were only able to refund us for one night. Do not stay here because there is a possibility that you make take something from this place and bring it home with you. Thankfully we didn’t stay very long.

Great price as long as you don’t mind bugs in your room Convenient location, decent small pool. Cockroaches both dead and alive in our room. Housekeeping didn’t refill toilet paper so had to go to office to get. Door wouldn’t stay locked unless chain was attached.

They need more complimentary breakfast they hardly had anything besides cereal and two pieces of toast! Need to do better and this place is like family own business

I have never, in all my life, been in a hotel infested with roaches... That is, until I stayed here. The floors were filthy, the towels were stained, and roaches were in the microwave and crawling all over the walls and sink. The breakfast was just cereal or oatmeal, not that is trust eating anything cooked at this location anyway. My family and I will not come back to this place again.

On the other hand. The guy in the front office when we checked in was really nice, and friendly. I didn't get his name though.

Service at front desk was not the best. Had several customers in front of us making complaints about charging their card but not giving them a room & giving room keys that didn’t work. When you check in they ask for a $50 deposit and you get it back when you check out, never been to a hotel that’s done this before. Cleanliness of the hotel room was not it, there was some roaches I killed and some dead bugs in the shower. Stains on the sheets and the restroom smelled like pee. Smoke detector was nonexistent. The only cute thing was the kittens outside the hotel, other than that I would recommend not staying at this hotel. We tried to get a cheap hotel since it was just for the night, but I guess we should’ve invested in a nicer/more expensive hotel in the area.

If I could give no stars I would. Worst hands down. It's run by a Indian woman who is the rudest I've seen. Room dirty, cockroaches and bedbugs aplenty. Shower was broken, could only get hot and cold. Tiles broken bathroom was worst I've seen. Rooms are decorated in post modern crap. Small TV. If they get rid of the manager and clean up it could be good. When we complained about the condition the manager threatened to kick us out. The management needs to be replaced!!!

Overall not bad for how cheap it is. I was expecting it to be a bit scary, more of a dive, but it was pretty nice compared to other places at the same price. The staff were super nice and helpful. Place was pretty clean and housekeeping was very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting someone at the base. It’s only about a 10 min drive and it’s located near lots of food options as well.

I liked the helpfulness and kindness of all the staff. I liked how well lit the entire property is. I felt safe; no dark areas or shadows. There was a slight smell in the room but it could be from the cleaning supplies. Also the toilet seat was loose but those were just minor things. Overall everything was great.

First, we can't check in until 3pm, if not you have to pay a $40 fee to go in your room early. There was people smoking and drinking outside their room, smelled like skunk everywhere, horrible. Inside was so dark, large lamp did not work. Towels smelled bad and were folded humid or semi-wet. Bed sheets did not smell clean! NO COFFEE MAKER inside room. Super loud neighbors hitting the walls and doors next to us late at night. Then started knocking at our door! I felt completely UNSAFE, for my family and my self. We had our kids w us. I ordered a wake up call and they didn't call, so of course we missed our "free breakfast". We went down to the front desk and couldn't even get pass the front door, because the front desk clerk, yelled at us "breakfast is over!!". No good morning, how can I help you? Just gave a horrible attitude in person and over the phone! So disrespectful! A female! It was 9am and we were all getting ready to leave, and someone starts knocking at our door so hard and loud, I quickly ask, who is it?, and see no one by the door, then that someone proceeded to enter into our room while we were changing our clothing. I called the front desk and advised them on what happened. They just simply said "oh it must've been the housekeeper." BUT checkout is at 11am! So I was super displeased with the front desk response. Over all a horrible unsafe and unsanitary experience! I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE ALONE OR WITH LESS WITH YOUR FAMILY AND LITTLE ONES! NOT WORTH IT

The area has a lot panhandlers. Very strange activity across the way at motel six. My room smelled like smoke which is weird because it’s a no smoking place. Better than sleeping out side like the rest of the folks down the street but not by much.
