Perfect location on the River. Quiet, yet walkable to all of the restaurants. Beautiful spa with separate men and women lounges. Joint relaxation room. Wonderful exercise gym. We didn’t get a balcony opening to the River due to cost. But we did have a balcony for fresh air and sat on the women’s spa balcony overlooking the River!

Amazing service. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay amazing. The spa was a nice retreat after a busy day. Location was also perfect. Definitely worth every penny.

As nice as having separate spa facilities is, a little redundant if the everyone is wearing swimwear. At this point the change rooms/showers could be separate and joint spa facilities.

Mokara is a fabulous hotel to stay at if you’re looking for something relaxing, rejuvenating, and a staff that caters to your every need. The spa services were top notch. Jessica was amazing, and I can’t wait to return in the future for another massage and body scrub!

The suite was beautiful, the staff was most attentive and accommodating with our pre- requests for our arrival as well as during our stay. The showers were not on par with the rest of the suite and the toilets as well could be upgraded perhaps with washlets. The coffeemaker should also be available in both rooms of the suite for early morning use if one guest is still sleeping and cannot be disturbed by using it.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed. Poor breakfast in the room. They sent us an obviously pre-frozen waffle and awful coffee for nearly $50. Pillows were hard and heavy and need replaced. Finally on check-in they tried to put us in a room with a window facing a brick wall. This was a reservation for a Superior King, the best room below a suite.

Every thing and every person working there. Wanted top notch place and there are many, but what tipped scales was the whirlpool by swimming pool...quite a nice perk for just showing up w/o appointments...I'm not a spa person, but hot tub by pool was delightful and appreciated. By the way, I came by myself; a woman's/wife's escape; 100% accomplished. But all of the hotel is outstanding! Congratulations to all of you. Isabel Ogden visit too short

Very nice hotel and spa, located right by the Riverwalk. Spa is fantastic and had probably one of the best massages ever there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are great. Rooftop pool and hot tub were very nice. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was wonderful, but the balcony and the view was exactly what we wanted. The room service didn't bring up our coffee until we called a couple of times. It was multiple days this happened.

My family and I stayed for a family getaway and were completely impressed by the hotel. It was conveniently located on the Riverwalk and loved the local restaurants. The service of the staff was TOP NOTCH!

We did not have a balcony. The beds were not big enuff for 2 average people they were very small. When asked do r better view I was told they didn’t have one.

This was a wonderful location along the river walk. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. They really tried to make your stay special. The only thing we didn’t like was that the air conditioning could not keep up with the heat and and also construction was going on and woke us up every morning.

Our stay was absolutely amazing!!! The room was perfect and the staff was spectacular!!! Also, the location is right in the middle of the riverwalk! You literally walk across the street and you are in the riverwalk!

The hotel service was exceptional from the time we pulled up to valet. Everyone was prompt, kind, and helpful. We have stayed at many hotels on the Riverwalk. This is the first time we didn't hear street noise all night. The only disappointment was with the dine-in service. The breakfast was not good. Dinner at Ostra was amazing.

We spent a weekend with our son and his wife for a quick getaway. The property was clean and the staff was exceptional in their care of guests. The only downside was the were down to one elevator which made the wait a little long.

We asked for them to look at the room to see if that’s normal and I guess they did while we were gone, but nothing changed. So I’m not sure if the muggy wet stuffy feeling is normal for each room or if it was just ours. Otherwise it was a great stay and I can’t brag on the customer service enough.

My husband an I were impressed with the level of service we received as well as the cleanliness and helpfulness of all the staff members! Excellent location on the Riverwalk!

Our stay got cut short as my son got sick. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early. One would think that the manager would approve a refund for the one night that we did not stay at the hotel, but that was not the case. Instead, manager Christopher Blaha lied and said he would refund us, but in the end, that was just a lie to get me off the phone. VERY bad business Chirs. Me and my family travel all the time. I can assure you, we wont ever be staying at a Mokara Hotel ever again.

10 out of 10 of experience from pre-arrival to the moment we left. The staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs from valet, to housekeeping to front desk. They helped make our first anniversary very special and memorable. Hands down the best stay we’ve ever had anywhere, I mean they were good even down to the little details. HIGHLY recommend. We will definitely be back.

We love this hotel. Alley was waiting for us to check in. She was absolutely amazing. She gave us an upgrade which did cost extra but is was on the river front and had a balcony. It is my granddaughters birthday and they brought her an amazing dessert to the room and wrote a sweet little note for her. We love it here!!

We came to San Antonio for a wild cowboy wedding and were so pleasantly surprised by our recent stay – it truly felt like a five-star experience rather than a four-star! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a feeling of comfort and luxury that made our trip even more special. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptionally friendly staff. Every interaction felt genuine and warm, making us feel like we were coming home each time we walked through the doors. The small talks and personal touches were incredibly appreciated. A special shout-out to Nicole at the front desk – she was an absolute gem! She remembered us every single time we came in, which added such a wonderful personal touch to our stay. We totally enjoyed every aspect of our visit and left feeling refreshed and incredibly well-cared for. We definitely will come back again.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, and it's was absolutely fantastic! It's right on the Riverwalk, so all the restaurants and shops were in walking distance. The Valet staff and the front desk staff was very helpful and amazing! Our last night we dined at the Ostra and our server Peter was absolutely fantastic and made our honeymoon date feel very special. The Spa was amazing as well. Will definitely be staying here again.

Close to shopping, dining and very walkable city. Property is well managed and the staff is very friendly, even the valet and hotel porter will hold conversations with you. Kudos to the staff. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

This is the mos luxury hotel in San Antonio as my experience.

The actual standard of the hotel falls short of its appearance. The quality of the bed linen is quite disappointing, and the bed itself is very uncomfortable. Those accustomed to staying in luxury hotels may find certain aspects underwhelming. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant leaves much to be desired.

My wife and I recently celebrated our 20th anniversary, and we had an absolutely wonderful time! The service was exceptionally friendly, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. It truly made our special occasion even more memorable. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Just be aware of what type of room you book, because our window faced a wall that was only a few feet away. You could not see the sky or anything other than the wall. So if a view is important to you, make sure you book a room that offers that.

Worth every penny we spent there!

Fantastic. We got to check in early, had a spa experience and even though we have stayed here before everyone is friendly and accommodating. We were here celebrating both our anniversary and Valentines Day and we highly recommend this hotel.

The moment we arrived at our hotel for our stay the front desk and velvet every single person that works there was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and cozy would definitely come back and recommend to others. We had a relaxing birthday getaway

Spa was nice

Another wonderful stay at the Mokara! The hotel is gorgeous, the staff are wonderful, and the amenities are amazing. I love the views from the rooftop pool and the peace and quiet of the spa whirlpool and sauna. Fantastic room service food, too. The only issue with this visit was getting conflicting info from the spa staff about the different services' features and costs. Other than that, it was a perfect visit. We hope to come back soon!

This is one of our favorite hotels anywhere! At Christmas the river view is awesome with the festive lights hung by the city making it wonderful Service is impeccable-it seems anyone you meet working there is proud to be a part of the Mokara family.

Great location and amazing service

Pricey. Expected. Were snubbed at the restaurant. Felt like did not belong on more than one occasion. Beautiful building very well kept. Front desk were all very helpful. Although did not receive welcome gifts as promised at check in. The spa did send up champagne for our anniversary,after reminding a complimentary glass came with our package purchased. Rooms were small, but very clean, beds comfortable. Bathroom needed uplift, showing age, peeling wallpaper . Bath salts and wonderful extras for whirlpool tub jets were perfect and was very clean . Overall beautiful hotel attentive staff .
