    Hello, I would like to file a formal complaint regarding my stay. First, our balcony has been unusable due to a bee infestation, which has created both a safety concern and a significant inconvenience during our visit. Additionally, our room was not serviced today. Despite calling the front desk several times, the bed was not made, and housekeeping did not arrive until approximately 6:30 PM. This level of service is unacceptable and falls well below the standards reasonably expected during a hotel stay. These issues have significantly impacted our experience, and I am requesting an appropriate resolution for what has been a very disappointing stay. I would appreciate a prompt response regarding how these concerns will be addressed.

    Breakfast-for a traditional breakfast it cost $30 and it was terrible. The 2 eggs were just ok, bacon was greasy, soggy, and cold. Potatoes had no taste and one piece of cold toast.

    Pool said it was heated it was not, and too cold to go in. There was construction one night so loud that we couldn’t sleep and the Concierge said they had no idea what we were talking about and made no report or compensation.

    Amanda was 100% comprehensive with a problem I had: a package that I ordered was opened and stolen by someone at the front desk. Pillows were extremely unpleasant. I ordered a package from Amazon and the day I checked in and asked for the package a small stature woman with black short hair and asian like features gave me my package but it was just an empty bag that showed it had been opened by someone. When I asked to check the cameras or ask security this woman told me that she wouldnt do that because it wasnt possible and that the package was surely opened by Amazon. She started treating me condescendingly and rude so I told her that I wanted to speak to someone else and she just left. A woman named Amanda told me she heard how the other woman had spoken to me so she apologized and told me that she would submit to my room a credit for the value of the package that was stolen so that I could spend it in room service. I had to order and pay for my package again and when the second package arrived the guy from the front desk told me that he didnt know about any packages and that he didnt have the phone to contact anyone so this only made me believe more that the first package was surely stolen by someone at the front desk. I sat down and waited for someone else to help me and a guy which I dont remember his name asked me so I told him everything and told me he was really sorry about all the trouble and that he would call my room when he found my second package. Later my second package was handed to me by this second guy that seemed to me had the same level of authority that Amanda had. We were checking out very early so we asked the room service guy if we could pre order breakfast to go and he told us no problem but later on he came back and told us the guys from the front desk didnt allow it so this summed up to the problems with my packages made my stay somewhat unpleasant all because of the people at the front desk.

    our room had a leak in the bathtub, and the ac was not working to the full capacity but our stay wasn't spent in the room majority of the time we were out and about so it wasn't a big issue for us, we love the beds and the comfort of it, great location easy walk to the riverwalk and the shops. we stay here frequently!

    The rooms were clean however the shower had rust and mold at the base. The elevator took over 10 minutes to arrive due to many guests. Took the stairs which had old furniture packed in areas. Hard to find the exits due to lack of signage.

    Ballet parking is a complete mess. They charge you depending on vehicle type or brand (I guess). If you can, just drop your bags in the front and park on your own.

    I absolutely loved the Westin Riverwalk hotel. It’s gorgeous! The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were nice, especially the ones with a balcony view of the river. The beds were amazing! Parking was beyond easy. The garage is right across the street, so you can valet or self-park. I give this hotel ten out of ten!

    The staff was absolutely wonderful, the riverwalk setting with the holiday lights glistening off the balcony patio doors was magical. Pay the extra to have a room on the riverwalk side with the outdoor patio, it’s was well worth the enjoyment, especially during the holiday season. The hotel and rooms were fabulous and the location was easy to walk to many places. We had a wonderful trip!

    The carpets should be replaced very old and fringed on the entrance of the room. The shower on off knob did not work. Bathroom sink faucet was an issue. The outside on our balcony was very dirty. The patio furniture was in poor condition. The heavy sliding door did not close properly and was very dirty. The hotel itself had an impressive overall appearance. However, the rooms need better attention. The staff was very hospitable.

    The GM said she canceled my reservation and I better receive a refund. The Westin refuses to park full size trucks and insisted that I park 4-6 blocks away and walk back. I am a woman that is absolutely not comfortable walking back at night alone. Horrible service.

    This place is spectacular! The rooms are classy and clean! The location is the best! Tables & chairs right on the riverwalk to relax & enjoy! Only one other hotel offers this. The parking was a breeze! They have valet parking that leaves all the troubles to them! Not the other hotels there! The valet went above and beyond the call of duty for us. We had tons of luggage and a huge dog with us. They handled it all! I’ve stayed in others on the riverwalk and let me tell you. This one is the best! I also love their premium beds! Top notch!

    Beautiful view . The only discrepancy was that the refrigerator never got cold so all of my food which was really good food, spoiled. Also, the towels in the bathroom had hair all over them as if someone brushed their hair over them and they were never changed. Other than that the view was beautiful

    Stay here if you want your card to be charged twice for valet parking and want to check in hours later after the allowed check in time. I will never be staying here again. We get there at check in time, our room was not ready. I was asked who I was with I said another adult and 1 child. The staff then assumes, "oh your husband and child". I was there with my partner(a woman), I felt automatically uncomfortable. No need to assume. The staff then hands me 2 drink coupons to excuse the late room check in. We go to the restaurant, almost 2 hours and no text that our room was ready. I go to the front and ask the status then continue to tell me it is not ready yet ans proceeded to give me 2 more drink coupons. I wanted my room NOT more drinks. This staff member proceeded to "talk to her supervisor " and says a room is ready just not the one I requested. This place isn't cheap. I wanted to stay where I requested and paid more for. Hotels are strict with the early check out but don't expect your room to be ready by 4pm. If you have plans the day of check in, good luck!!! DON'T STAY HERE!

    I wasn’t satisfied with my stay. They had issues with the elevators. Had to wait in long lines every time I leave out of the hotel or go down stairs to get something to eat from the restaurant. Two days in a row I called down stairs several of times and no one answered the phone so I had to go down stairs to the front desk. My room was on the 12th floor went to warm my food on the fourth floor where the microwave is at and it was gone, called down stairs to inform them that the microwave was gone but they never brought another one up. I noticed my fiancé mirror on his truck on the passenger side has a scratch on it. The whole time we were there we didn’t drive anywhere. I won’t stay there again wasn’t satisfied. They suck!!

    Check-in time was not acceptable, the “premier” rooms were dressed last apparently so they weren’t even ready at 4pm check-in. The river view was full of dead trees and not worth the cost. The sliding door was very hard to slide making it difficult to enjoy the balcony easily. We did have AC issues that were addressed pretty quickly which was a bonus. One day there was only 1 working elevator out of 4 making lines long to get up and down.

    Our room wasn’t ready until two hours after the 4:00 check in time. We weren’t informed it was ready even though we were told we would receive a text once there was one available. A text was sent after I went back to the front desk to ask if we had a room yet. It was very disappointing. Management did compensate us the next day by adding some extra loyalty points to our rewards account. We were told that they were behind in having rooms ready due to so many late checkouts. It seems that something like that should be controlled by operations in order to ensure timely check ins for incoming guests.

    Well it was not disclosed that you had to pay $70 a day to park. There was nowhere to get snacks at night. Walls very thin. Did not make beds, did not restock coffee or towels. Very expensive for not that great of a room. I would compare it to a Best Western.

    The room wasn’t super clean, but the biggest issue was the noise and elevators. We were next to the custodial door and it was slammed shut what felt like once an hour, all through the night. The street noise was unbearable as well, but I get that’s difficult to manage. The elevators were incredibly slow, at all times. We asked if we could use the stairs but were told no. For the price of this hotel, there should be minimal noise at night, and a much better elevator system. I was excited to enjoy the heavenly bed but with the noise, I didn’t get any sleep.

    There were "technical difficulties" we were told. Only 1 elevator worked when we were there so there was always a line to use it. My room was freezing even though we cranked it up to 80, but it never got warmer. They never came to fix it because they were busy fixing the elevator. At 10:30p they did switch rooms for us, but by that time, we were tired and sleepy from the day. In additional, the parking there for 1 night was 65 bucks! It wasn't worth it.

    The room was average and seemed a little out dated. The view “which was the main reason I booked the room, “to have a view of the riverwalk during Christmas “ wasn’t the best. The house keeper accidentally walked into my room, she said she must of had the wrong room number and I was informed after I booked there was actually no spa on the premises. I will not be going back. But this is just all my personal experience.

    There was a problem with evening room service not answering room calls or front desk calls. The menu provided was not what was available. That staff seemed to be disinterested or simply confused about the situation and said the kitchen had shut down their ovens for the evening even though there was over two hours left of service.

    Hotel was nice, staff was pleasant. My only complaint was the balcony was a partial juliet balcony, which was not stated in the booking. I say partial juliet because it was the smallest juliet balcony that ive ever seen. You could barely fit onto it. And it certainly wasnt comfortable. My whole reason for booking rhis hotel was for the balcony. So that was disappointing.

    Poor customer service, filthy rooms. Valet didn't even acknowledge us. One bed had crumbs under the sheets and the second had what looked like pepper under it's sheets. Can't confirm but suspect bedbugs. Elevator button had brownish substance smeared all over it and appeared to be dripping. Left immediately. Preferred to spend 5 hours in the airport lobby than one more minute in that hotel.

    We were forced us to leave after the first night because the hotel didn’t allow pets in the room alone. This wasn’t shown on Expedia when the booking was made. The Westin did not express this at check-in. Neither the Westin or Expedia would refund me for the three nights we didn’t stay there. They both told me the other party had to issue the refund. I am now out of $700 and I will never use Expedia again or stay at The Marriott, Westin or any of its affiliates.

    Booked an additional night and called front desk to let them know. They failed to tell me the procedure of staying an additional night, so i got locked out of my room and my take out food got cold since i had to go back to check in, wait in line and explain my situation.     Safe in room not working. Room not cleaned one of 2 days. Soap dispenser empty in shower. Phone not operable as we wanted to inform front desk of a non English uniformed person knocking on our door but we had no idea what she was saying. My husband then went to your front desk only to be told this person went to the wrong room. To top it off we were charged upon exit for a bar bill we never ordered. Apparently someone used our room number to order from the downstairs bar. Shouldn’t your staff request proof that someone is staying at that particular room in your hotel? Just FYI

    Two of four elevators were not working and the two that were working had issues. One of the elevator call buttons on our floor was broken and actually covered with duct tape. Parking is very expensive at this property and I didn’t feel like the booking was very transparent.

    This hotel is in the quiet side of the river work. Only have valet parking, if you want to park yourself, you have to park across the street which runs about 40 dollars a day.

    The location is the best part of this Westin. Unfortunately the building is pretty old and this showed itself with me having to move rooms twice for separate issues- my first room had an extremely loud and rattling A/C unit. The second room was very humid- you could easily sense the musty smell/feel in the room; clothes got damp and towels would not dry at all. Finally, after moving a second time I landed a normal room. I am quite disappointed and this definitely impacted my enjoyment of my trip. I would not recommend this hotel

    I was a little disappointed that the Valet service had us lined up, OUTSIDE in Texas heat, standing in line to retrieve vehicles Sunday morning. They apparently don't do digital requests on Sunday. I suggested they move the line inside the ample lobby and they seemed thoughtful for future weekends. Fifty of us stood out there on the driveline, 85 degrees, breathing exhaust...all else was great!!

    The Westin did not clean the room for two days without us calling every single day to ask why they haven’t cleaned it at 6 PM. Additionally, they didn’t even have fitted sheets on the bottom sheet so that you’re basically sleeping on a mattress. Gross.

    It was overpriced for what you get. The A/C was so noisy it was hard to sleep, and didn't get the room cool enough. Even the room fridge didn't get very cool. Location was ok, but be prepared for a lot of walking.

    Bedding was like 7/10… it wasn’t super soft and comfy, but it was okay. Room was otherwise sufficient with the exception of missing threshold between carpet and tile flooring, which resulted in exposed carpet tacks. I have older children, so this wasn’t particularly an issue for us but would have been had they been younger. Service was 8/10. Majority of staff interactions were excellent, especially at check in/out and around the hotel, wait times at the on-site restaurant were a little slow and there wasn’t a whole lot of communication from wait staff.

    The weather was not so great. The hotel and the staff were very friendly and polite. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I wish they would change is adding a complementary coffee and tea station for the guest. This is the first Westin I’ve stayed that doesn’t have complementary coffee for guests in the lobby. They have one but you have to purchase coffee. That’s the reason for the 4 stars

    The hotel has old and worn furniture, and chairs in the pool have holes in them. Our room have super bad smell to drainage and moist. All the water from the shower was always leaking onto the bathroom floor. They miss one day of our stay for room cleaning.

    I was expecting to be blown away because it was the Westin. There was nothing that made it different than a Marriott, Hilton, or Springhill Suites. One thing that did make it different was 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed, our room was not cleaned. I had a total of three rooms and one of the other rooms was not cleaned at all. I expected the Westin to be a level above the Marriott, Hilton, and Springhill Suites. I have never experienced that my room not being cleaned. The staff was amazingly nice but a little disappointed with the rooms being cleaned.

    Nice location on the riverwalk and convenient to the Alamo, 4th of July festivities, entertainment and restaurants galore. Sprinkled a lot but we were able to get around town. Room with river view and bed comfortable. Sheets were stiff, blanket was kind of stretchy thick material that was hot and didn’t stay on the bed and comforter too heavy for summer. One pillow not really a pillow. It was pretty quiet during the day but the first two nights someone very close-by played loud video games all night until MN, then until 4 am the second night. It was hard to sleep with the loud and repetitive noise all night long. Very annoying and rude. Last night someone came in next door around 4 am talking and tv turned on, so overall didn’t sleep well for the 3 nights. We just got up and checked out. All the 4 credit card charges that we questioned are still not off our credit card. The 3 valet parking charges are not there yet. We hope Marriott is able to fix this or I’ll be calling someone. We received at least 5 identical emails today regarding the valet charges. I don’t know why we need 5 emails. This should have been simple. We paid for the hotel bill completely before arriving except the parking.

    After unpacking, we found the phone & TV not working. After walking to registration desk to inform staff, I was told this room was not to be used. Needless to say, we had to repack to change rooms. Second room, the TV remote did not work. Engineer arrived and changed remotes. We were not offered any type of compensation for the stress of repacking & room charge due to staff error. The Westin needs more luggage carts!!!!
