Hotel was very nice and clean and staff was very friendly. The pool was decent but it was very humid in the pool area no air circulation. The hot tub was not working. But our biggest complaint in the mattress, it was so hard. We could not sleep it was so uncomfortable.

Excellent customer service and very clean. When we checked in it was 30 degrees outside when we walked in the room it was 45 degrees and it took one hour and a half to get warm. Then at 3:00 am the unit moved to 50 degrees and it was ver6 cold in the room. If that would not have happened everything would have been perfect. So we did not have a good night sleep.

The room was not spotless and things were a little outdated, but it was ok.

The property looked great and all though I didn't get to try the breakfast or check out the pool it was a great hotel for my short stay!

Housekeeping was inconsistent — on one day towels were removed but not replaced, and supplies like toilet paper were missing. The hot tub, which was the main reason I rebooked, is still broken, and there were no towels available in the pool area. Cleanliness and upkeep were lacking overall.

Great staff and great room

Staff was courteous and helpful. Parking included was huge plus for us. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. We needed a place to sleep for a few hours before continuing our 2 day drive. We checked out very early so cannot comment on the breakfast as we left before it was available. Spa was out of order which was very disappointing as that was one main reason for booking here since we knew we’d be checking in after driving all day and would have liked a soak. Otherwise, it was a nice experience.

Staff was great to the house keeper that had my room she was so great she made my stay very easy and comfortable. It was next to plenty of stores and Walmart was down the street the security guard there was sooo awesome breakaways everything every morning of my stay thanks for the good experience that my son and niece had.

Hotel is noisy, due to the proximity to IH35 and the railroad tracks just across IH35. Soundproofing needed badly.

I felt this hotel met my needs. The staff were very nice and we had a nice quiet room. The hotel is doing some renovating, but that didn't bother us. They have a very nice breakfast and the chef is very nice. I would use this hotel again.

terrible front desk, safety issues with room. Before, I left the hotel they knew the issues I had and I told them I was unhappy. Not one time did they offer to correct, lady just said OK. After I left hotel, I called back to speak to a manager to voice my issues again and possibly come to a resolution. Each time I called and asked for a manager I was sent to a voicemail that was full unable to take my message. Now I made a formal complaint via email to guest services Hilton. Everyone's experience is different and if my issue would have been resolved that day I would be writing a different review.

Very nice place.

The hotel is currently being rennovated. The 3rd floor, which was the floor of my room, was an absolute mess with debris and construction materials stacked in the hallway. I have pictures of the mess, and I would like a substantial or full refund for the poor current condition of the hotel.

What I didn’t like was not being able to check when I got to Hampton at 3 o’clock. None of the rooms were ready and we sat in the lobby for an hour. There were four others waiting also. Two of them left and went to another

Dirty facility

This property was smelly, dirty, felt damp and not in a good location. I felt unsafe.The remotes to the outdated tv did not work neither did the phones. I Advise the staff who came and sprayed room refresher that was dove body spray. Under the circumstance we had to leave. The hotel would not allow us to cancel our next day reservations nor provide a refund. We gathered our things and left.

Easy to find off the freeway. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.

We had a room facing the freeway and railroad. It was VERY loud. Toilet ran, shower controls were not intuitive, shower spout was barely hanging on.

Upon arrival and getting checked i to our room, we found the room dirty, dirty brown stains on the couch, dirty bedspread. Decided to pull the sheets back on the bed inly to find hair in the bed, and dirty sheets. Went and talked to the manager and requested a refund so we could go look for another hotel only to have him tell us we would lose our money for the first nigh because we entered the room and now it was considered dirty. I told him it was dirty to begin with! Never ever will I stay at this or another Hampton Inn.

The facility was immaculate. My room was exactly what I requested and very clean. The receptionist was professional and Welcoming and Friendly. The breakfast was delicious 😋. Excellent!!!

I only stayed 2 nights but the accommodations and staff were great. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety. I was happy with my choice to stay at Hampton inn!

We stayed in a suite so it was roomy. It was clean.

The first room the toilet was broken so they switched us to another room. The second room the heater was working we slept all night cold and frozen. The room is not cleaned very well the window curtains were disgusting in both rooms. The carpet felt sticky the pillows were very uncomfortable. But the indoor pool was really nice.

It was conveniently located for me during this trip.

Everything was good except the check in service i know we got there at1:45pm but it was ugly weather and my grandson was playing soccer we had to go back at 4 so we wanted to get out of weather but they said we had to wait till 3 i been to other hotels and they let you check in early if room is ready.

Our door frame to our room was busted and when you put the key in to open the door it still wouldn’t open because the door was stuck in the frame. So you had to crash into the door like you were trying to break in to get it open.

Was such a great place! The kids loved the pool and breakfast. Already planning another stay!!

When I arrived they always great with smile, staff is excellent and my room had no hot water so they upgraded me.

The property clean , the agent at checkin was not informed of happenings around town and was very rude and lazy , There was not any hot water . I took a cold shower in the morning before heading home . The beds where alright the room other than the shower not having hot water was a nice room comfortable and clean . The shower being broken was not acceptable I rented a handicapped room for my husband who is a disabled veteran . Him also having to take a cold shower was very disappointing . The shower was in all sort of disrepair.

It is convenient to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetary. The staff was excellent. The room was filthy. The carpet, drapery and couch was stained and gross.

All good but beds were very uncomfortable

The hot tub was amazing and so was breakfast. Staff very nice. Great coffee! I loved the little gym and my son the bed and pillows! Great sleep!

Everything was great, the only thing was the sheets were dirty, when I paid down, it smelled like perfume and i smelled the sheets and they were definitely used, but the bed was made. They're was hair in the tub, but the front desk quickly brought us new sheets. Everything else was great

Good to stay

The water in our shower was not hot. Room 211 beds to be discounted because there is no view from the window. All you see is a concrete slab! For $150 a night, it’s a bit excessive for the view. Breakfast was nothing more that basic items. No bananas, orange juice was watered down.

Shiiitty place, Old building And they have an issue with hot water, Had to take cold showers , Train Rocks by building.

I have stayed at many hotels and this was the worst experience ever. I got there the room was hot and the desk chair was torn and worn out. I went to a funeral viewing and came back and before I left I tried to see if I could get the room cooler by Turing the thermostat down to 60 came back 5 hours later and it felt like a sauna. I went down stairs to the front desk and they fixed it right away but still I had to move my family and a baby. Worst experience ever and like I said I have stayed at all kinds of hotels and motels and this was the worst by far

This Hampton Inn was clean, very quiet, and the room was dark. I really enjoyed that. The only issue was the hot tub did not work while we were there. I would gladly stay there again.

Hot tub didn’t work, room and halls smelled terrible like backed up sewer. Had a hide away bed but front desk didn’t have additional bedding or pillows. Asked for 2 towels since the room only had 2 and the front desk person was terrible to us and others in line ahead of us. Tried to order food for delivery and was told it’s unsafe to deliver there and paid $138 for the night. GM refuses to call customers back that have issues.

Pool was horrible. It look dirty and not well maintained. I stayed here to use the pool during part of our stay and wanted to give my son who’s in the army and hasn’t swam in months a fun opportunity to swim but the pool needed general maintenance e and a significant cleaning. The room was nice with good amenities (fridge, microwave) but the hairdryer was not very powerful. Bed and linens were comfortable. Staff were friendly enough but one gave us a little eye-roll when we asked for a late check out due to flight times. She gave us 30 extra minutes (not helpful at all). They had tons of availability and it was Monday - so I don’t believe they really needed the room and we would have even paid a fee if needed.

We had trouble with keys. They kept going out and when my daughter asked for a new one they refused needing an ID. We were locked out a few times. Also we asked for new towels and they said they were all dirty. That was a first for me.

Overall not a bad stay. My only issue was that I got a room that had bedbugs. This resulted in me having to discard a bunch of my stuff and taking a bunch of steps to keep from infesting my home upon return. The staff did come in and take it serious when reported. GM also gave me a refund but it sucked either way. If not for this inconvenience I would of rated a lot higher.

It was ok for the money. Didn’t know it’s $88 for one night to have your pet stay. That’s not very pet friendly

This was my second time I stayed there and room 221 was nice! The AC was working great! The pool was also nice, however I didn’t feel the AC was working there? The breakfast was good and great coffee! Will stay there again!

Check-in was fast, easy and smooth. Room was clean. Parking sucked as it was full and some vehicles just dont know how to park.

Great stay! Breakfast had a nice selection and the front desk attendant Yvonne was so warm and welcoming. The room was very modern and clean the microwave and Refrigerator were also clean which was very impressive. I would definitely recommend this hotel as my overall experience was excellent.

Needs major updating. Lobby couches filthy. Mold on bathroom ceiling. Just felt dirty.

Next to I-10 freeway and a very busy frieght railway with multiple road crossings requiring warning blasts.

Nice clean hotel. Had to stay in that area for business so I appreciated the safety of staying inside access on top floor. Breakfast was hot and good as advertised. Bed was wonderful.

We specifically booked this hotel because it had a hot tub option, we even called ahead of time to ensure it was working. Then we arrive and it was not working. We also lost power for about 2 hours during our stay. The free breakfast a complete let down as well. We simply left to get our own.

It was good. Didn’t know it was the bad part of town. Kept seeing patrol cars and when checking in there was a man that kept walking around the parking lot. Kinda sketchy.

We were in the handicap room for whatever reason. The shower was missing pieces and the ADA shower hose was leaking. So night we heard water drips.

Room smelled like it was mildewy. AC seemed to freeze up and did not cool well overnight. Staff was all amazing!!

Looked like maybe room was quickly straightened before we arrived. There was a cockroach in shower.

Room is very nice but the bed for us was uncomfortable. We don't mind a firm bed but this bed was hard. My husband said he didn't sleep well. Other than that this place was alright for the night.

My daughter and I stayed together for one night and absolutely made the most of the pool and hot tub, spending a couple hours in the evening and the morning. It was wonderful! And the breakfast buffet was the bomb!

A lot of homeless people around the whole neighborhood I guess it’s just bad in general in San Antonio for homeless people in that city.

When we arrive the front desk person decided they didn’t want to be at work anymore. There was a security guard trying to figure out how to check guests in, but didn’t have the log in information or the training. The GM was contacted several times in order to resolve the issue(s), and he never responded. We were never checked in.

It was ok. The carpets does not look clean. Some short of odor when you get into the room. Which you get adjusted with after sonetime.

The front desk ladies were very kind and helpful. What we did not like is the bathroom. Overall, it needed a very good cleaning. The little drain circle in the sick was so gross. The floor around the tub was lined with heavy dust/dirt. The carpeting in the outside hallway is buckled and looks tired. Only one elevator was working and it was very slow. Usually we like Hampton Inn, but we would never stay at this one again.

Checkin was very easy, hotel is clean and good location. Needed to be close to Ft. Sam, very easy access. Staff is friendly and hotel is quiet. Glad I made this choice especially traveling solo.

Clean, the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi were a huge hit! Staff was super nice, great location! Everything perfect except the beds, they need new mattresses, super hard. I would stay here again, but I would bring an egg crate topper!

To start, there was a large stain one one bed spreads and a cigarette burn on the other. The walls were dirty. The sheets didnt look so clean. The room phone didnt work. When i asked for a new comforter, they just brought an extra blanket, and didnt take the previous one. Breakfast was so so. Potatoes were hard, bacon was salty. Lastly, there was four of us and only three towels. When i asked for fresh towels the next day, they said they were completely out and it would be 2 hours before they had any more clean ones.

Staff was friendly and greeted us upon check in, area is not as nice or safe as advertised, room was meh, bathroom had a lot of mold/mildew, AC worked mediocre, bed was extremely uncomfortable (hard and wire spring feeling), all night party allowed a few doors down with loud guests and music.

Hotel was great, comfy, and clean. Location was a bit scary at first but we made it through the night just fine. Pool was heated which the kids loved! Breakfast was good they had alot of options. Only issue i had was with checkin when I arrived the room wasnt ready and they also wanted a $75 pet fee for my yorkie. I had read online it was $50 . The lady did honor the $50 for me and i agreed to wait an extra 30 min for our room to be ready once I showed her where it was posted online. Unfortunately later in the night the guy who came in to work fromt desk called and asked me to come pay again as they had only taken $25 of the $50 needed. I was kind of irritated as i am sure that couldve been done at checkout but i still went and got it done. Overall i would say its a good place to stay and i would again.

Easy to find off the freeway. Everything was great from checking in and good overnight stay. If in this area again I will stay here.
