Comfort Suites Medical Center near Six Flags

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Room was spacious and comfortable. They're going through some upgrades on the property and the elevator does not work. But overall I enjoyed my stay. Will be back.

The staff were amazing and helpful my only issue was the maintenance of the building. The building was very old, elevators didn’t work, a lot of the amenities were old and out dated. Also The smell of mildew is very very pungent in the rooms, and the hallways are super humid.

We stayed with 3 grandkids (12-13 years old) and in a queen suite. Beds were very comfortable, Pool was good, Breakfast was good. Since it is summer, we wished Breakfast stayed a little later (like it 10am), instead of closing at 9:30. Our tweens now sleep later!

The price , size and location where decent. I like how price was upfront and there were no extra card holding room fees that you had to wait to get reimbursed. Pool was nice. The floor in the bathroom was warped and would move when stepped on from I'm guessing water damage, it had a wet/moldy smell. Didn't like that you couldn't lower the temperature below 70° at night but led you to believe that you could. Elevator was down during the entirety of the trip and we where on 2nd floor. Parking is eh.

It’s a good budget place to stay. No complains on my end. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We only needed a place stay. Would definitely stay again. Flew from Toronto was visiting my sister, she was getting married. San Antonio is an amazing city. God bless Texas and America

Nothing We arrived between 10:30 and 11:00, and they asked us to pay an extra fee because we had arrived early.So, we were forced to leave the hotel and return later. We returned after 3:00, only to be surprised to find that the elevator was not working; when they turned us away, they told us that we could simply cancel our reservation and look for another hotel. Since we were very tired, we were forced to carry our bags up to the second floor via the stairs. Everything was going on so we were sleeping and then the pillows was very dirty.

It was a great location and peaceful place I didn’t like the bed too much.

The front lady was nice and helpful! The main living space was spacious. Our room door didn’t close very well. The carpet was sticky in certain spots. The elevator was broken. There was only 1 washer and 1 dryer and it didn’t dry my clothes on normal cycle. The breakfast was okay, but they should have had breakfast time on weekends until 10 or 11 am instead of 9:30 am. The bathroom was small and refrigerator wasn’t on.

The elevator didn’t work our whole stay and we had problems with the shower as well. However, staff was helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good.

The Texas shaped waffle at breakfast First- the elevator was broken- we had to take the stairs. Thats crazy. Second- the halls stunk like weed and a dirty fish tank. Third- the room was musty. We only had 3 bath towels, half the toilet paper was missing, there were hairs on the counter. There was BARELY any hot water. The beds SUCKED. It was like sleeping on the ground. My 9 year old son slept on the sofa bed and could barely walk the next morning. He was miserable. We were all miserable. Fourth- I barely slept- I was so nervous that someone would break into our truck (because of past reviews- it happens often apparently) Fifth- the breakfast was nothing to write home about. The coffee was gross, the eggs were rubbery, and the sausage was meh… but the Texas waffle was cute.

What you pay is what you get. Elevators not working. But got breakfast a Texas waffle. The place is old and you can see it.

The satff was very nice, but the elevator wasn't working and it wasn't until about 8 p.m. we were sent an email notifying us. At that time we couldn't cancel the reservation as we were coming from one of the parks, it was late, we were tired and had a person with a disability. We were given a room on the 2nd floor, having to go up and down the stairs with a disable person.....not a pleasant experience. ELEVATOR not working and we were notified too late - not able to cancel the reservation.

Loved the room and breakfast. Loved the pool and spa. The front reception area and lobby looks old and tired. For example, the wall behind the front desk needs repair and fresh paint. The bathroom off the lobby looks really old. And the breakfast area was so crowded, we had to split up our family to sit at two different tables -- and almost couldn't sit at a table at all.

The property was right off the highway, easily accessible! When our trip was delayed, and arrived at the property at 7 am Staff waived a late check out fee for us! Was also right down the road from our favorite breakfast spot! (Comfort Cafe) Nothing.

This is the second time I stay at this location. Very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. I have stayed at other hotels based on the amenity's life workout room and pool and been disappointed. But at Comfort Suites everything worked well and the pool was clean. Will be staying again. It is near most of my doctors and has a lot of great stores and restaurants nearby.

Don't appreciate the cash only deposit for locals. Also, getting your period unexpected and getting blood on the sheets will cost you from that deposit which is not fair.

As we entered the building at 2pm & the glass doors were not clean, I knew I had made a bad decision. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed & the lobby furniture was dirty & discusting! No one should sit on those filthy couches! The floors were not mopped! Ok, so check in was smooth. All staff that we encountered were nice. We walk in the room & the couch was dirty & filthy!!! Imagine if you had little kids with you (which we didn’t) but where would they sit? Not on that filth! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The tv, microwave, & fridge worked. The elevator was dirty! The fact that the hotel furniture & floors were so NASTY there was no way we were getting in that pool. I didn’t smell any chlorine, lol! I only picked this place because of the price, & the indoor pool because it’s January. We did feel safe even though they had a HUGE sign on the building saying they are not responsible if your car is damaged or broken into, lmbo!! We usually stay at the Laquinta but they don’t have an indoor pool. The breakfast was a no no for us! The coffee was horrible! The kitchen door was open so I looked inside. The second room when we entered the pull out side was already pulled out room never been cleaned. And the sofa cushions didn’t have any thing to cover them so it was unusable.

Stayed there for one night. Very friendly staff. Just beware they only have one washer and one dryer available I was traveling across country with child and I needed to do a Load to continue my trip their dryer was horrible. Overall my stay was nice besides that.

There were no maintenance people there to fix it, and the girl at the front desk had only been working there a few weeks and did not know how to fix it herself. To be fair, she tried but she didn't know for what she was doing.They could not.move us to another room, as there were none available.

I will say the staff was relatively nice but the condition of this hotel is horrible.

The property is older so you get what you pay for. There was hair from previous customers in the shower and on the bathroom sink. The pool is inside and it definitely needs cleaning. The grounds could be better maintained. The breakfast is included and that’s a plus. Location is close to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, dining and stores so that’s a plus.

The people staying were shady, doing laundry all night. I asked to cancel but it was late in the night and everything was booked. They gave us another room. Property is nice but someone put soap in the hot tub and property management said it was just how it works, no steps taken to clean. After I showered there was some water on the floor, I wiped the water up with a small hand towel and the towel was black from the floor. No noise blocking in the room…kids running down the hallways was loud enough to echo into the room.

The pool was warmer than the hot tub, which we loved. Breakfast was great w attentive staff up till 9:30. Convenient location by all the shopping centers and stores. Few mins from downtown, SeaWorld, natural caverns..would stay here again

Would have given an excellent but breakfast service was disaster with empty dispensers and covered buffet items. Only 1 attendant. Coffee machine broken on final day of stay. Loved beds, A/C, and will stay again.

The hotel was nice and quiet very clean.

My mistake. Maybe my wife and I were judged for some reason to look like hooligans that may incur damages to the dated rooms or damage to the unkept exterior of the property?! Ironically we have stayed here previously, without this deposit. Just unpleasant experience at check-in. Maybe they just didn't want us to stay and tried to "shoo" us away with this large "cash only" 250$ deposit Nothing special here. Keep looking. Pass on the Bfast as well.

It was a comfortable stay. The breakfast area needed upkeep and to be restocked in a timely manner during the breakfast hours. Staff needs to be trained on proper customer service and cleaning protocols. A guest spilled a drink and the worker made a face. The worker went to get cleaning supplies and left spill on the floor. The workers came back with a mop and cleaned the area; however, left the floor wet. Another passing guest unaware of wet floor slipped and fell. A family member of the guest that fell grabbed the closest wet floor sign and placed it.

The bed was not clean. It had hairs and you can see how sheets were not washed. That was nasty.

Had to kill a roach in the room

Other than that everything was good.

The shower curtain needs repairing, all the water splashes out. The door needs to be repaired as well, it’s uneven and caused me to pinch my finger.

We were charged $200 cash to stay

Hotel is pretty good service is great breakfast great lobby is great elevator a little bit scary looks old and a little dirty with a bad smell the outside property needs serious cleaning due to thrash outside

2nights/3Rooms.. All TV’s were dirty with white film used to clean with a dirty rag.. Bath room tubs not cleaned sufficiently. We did not get ours rooms cleaned because we did not know we had to ask to get the rooms clean..

There was no soap available for a 3 night stay. Sofa bad was totally unacceptable with mattress that caused a backache. Housekeeping was on a 2-day schedule. Cleaning was completed late afternoon on 2nd day. No extra toilet paper was available, and we ran out! Breakfast was worse than mediocre. Eggs and meat ran out 30 minutes before closing. No decaffeinated coffee was available. Tables were not cleaned and no attendant was on duty. There was no toilet paper in lobby restroom.

Pool was very warm. Room comfortable with sofa and ottoman. Yeah for eggs without cheese perfect for those who cannot eat cheese.

I often pick hotels based off amenities, whether it is my husband and I Or our three children. It was My‘s birthday and we were really looking forward to being able to get in the Jacuzzi and out in the morning as we normally do. None of those were possible because they were unavailable. The breakfast was terrible. We came 30 minutes after it started absolutely no juice available and no one to help Refried beans, carting, eggs, and uncooked sausage links very disappointing Elevator was very dirty and shaky we found two roaches and requested a new and was told fully booked. Staff was nice, but not helpful at all for it to be my husband’s birthday and our getaway was not a very comfortable stay

The room was pretty clean. The bathroom door doesn’t close well because the door latch is loose. The bathroom floor have loose tiles. Other than these the room was nice

We had a handicap room and the bed was way to hard. Thats the main issue we had.

This was a good choice for a stopover while traveling East on I10. Not many options past San Antonio before Houston. Got a good night and decent breakfast to continue on a road trip with the family.

In the bathroom there was dried blood spots on the floor and one of the comforters had a blood spot as well.

Customer service is great very nice. When I got to the room it was dirty like if someone took a poop right before we walked in. The AC wasn’t working properly and it had gotten very stuffy. The plug of the AC was very loose….

As soon as I walked in there was a trash musty smell. I wanted to cancel but it was too late. Then an employee walked across me with a trash bag that was leaking dirty fluids I told him it was leaking and he ignored me so now there was a trail of trash fluid from the entry all the way down the hall. Second the elevators smelled like weed. So we get to our room and it was uhh ok. Dirty we didn’t walk in the carpet with out shoes the tub was dirty the toilet didn’t flush well, towels has make up stains on it. But we figured it was just one night. So the next morning at check out the trash stain were still on the floors smh:.. The floors were filthy as if no one mopped in weeks. btw.. Breakfast was from 6:30-8:30 who in the world wouldn’t get up that early anyhow we didn’t eat there I’m sure it was nasty. Well never again.. for a few more bucks could have stayed at better hotel. The lobby had ripped pillows nothing like on google pictures.

The hotel itself was nice. Room, staff, and location compared to everything. But the area around hotel is terrible. Someone hit our car in the parking lot the first night while we were asleep. Now havin to deal with the hit and run smh. Also busted glass on the ground around the parking lot from a string of car breakins from the past few weeks. Advise caution in staying here.

When we were leaving the hotel, a few hotel customer were cleaning their cars and picking up broken glass. At least three pick up trucks had their windows broken. Their trucks had gotten vandalized in the hotel parking lot overnight. And at least two other vehicles had their side mirrors broken overnight as well.

Very bad experience they broke into our vehicle and 3 others in just 1 night..police dont do anything and the dam hotel dont even discount for the unsafeness ...worst part of it ...it was right infront of a camera and front reception...sad to say very bad experience...to fox the glass itself was 325 dlrs...

Upon arrival the front staff told me there was a $250 deposit and it has to be cash. That was an inconvenience as I had to pull it out of the atm.

Everything was good except security, someone broke into my truck broke a window, and four (4) more truck were broken into. This Saturday night, police officer told me that on Friday night they broke into 4 trucks, so be careful and don't leave anything on your vehicles. A total of 9 vehicles were damaged in this 2 nights.

Loved everything about this place! Very quiet and cozy, room was nice and cold! Very close to the Texas Oncology.
