Inside the Golden Cape Natural Park, Lone Hotel by Maistra Collection features a terrace and a spa area. The hotel is 215 yards from the sea and a 15-minute walk from central Rovinj. Built in 2011, all modern designer rooms at Lone Hotel by Maistra Collection have free Wi-Fi and a private balcony. They include all modern facilities, including flat-screen satellite TV and laptop safe. Every room has air conditioning. There is a spa area with a hot tub, steam bath, sauna and massage room. The outdoor pool is shared with another hotel. It is surrounded by a spacious sunbathing area, and guests can also relax in a large indoor pool, which looks out to the lush garden. There is a sushi bar, a nightclub and several restaurants within the hotel building. Breakfast buffet is served daily at the hotel's restaurant. Pula Airport is just a 40-minute drive away and airport transportation can be arranged upon request.

Returning guests here, this time with a 10mo. Absolutely love the location between a huge park and Rovinj just a short walk away, and the staff is v kind and accommodating (particularly at the spa/wellness area). This time we tried out the playroom with our little one and the girls there were so nice. Breakfast is top notch as usual, and so is room service. We are coming back next year for sure!

The lighting in spa area is not up to standard. Some of the light in saunas are too bright and uncomfortable.

Hotel Lone je zaista posebno iskustvo. Oduševila nas je arhitektura i dizajn – moderan, ali topao, s puno svjetla i predivnim pogledom na more i šumu Zlatnog rta. Soba je bila prostrana, vrlo čista i iznimno udobna. Spa zona i bazeni su fantastični za opuštanje, a doručak je raznovrstan i kvalitetan. Osoblje je profesionalno, ljubazno i diskretno, što je dodatno doprinijelo osjećaju ugode. Boravak je bio vrlo ugodan i teško je pronaći veće zamjerke.

I would spend all my summer vacations here, if I could afford them. Since it was off season, all gueats were located by the pool and spa, which made it crowdy. Also, some of the guests in the spa and saunas took more liberty than appropriated, for my taste. It does say that spa is for 16+, but it does not say 18+. And the hotel could work on a better timing for the water jets in the spa. 1 minute of action, then 5-10 minutes of pause.

Lone has a very unique modern design, to the very standards of a 5 star hotel. I would definitely rank it in the top three luxury hotels in Croatia. The breakfast selection was impressive and the quality of the food rose up to my expectations. The room was one of the most spacious ones I've stayed in. The rest of the features were great, very imaginative. I've never seen a relaxation zone like the one Lone has. I would only suggest adding aromatherapy to the saunas for a more luxurious experience. Rovinj is one of the most beautiful cities as it is, so I never thought I could enjoy it more the 8th time there, but Lone proved me wrong. I've already booked my stay for next year! The only thing that I was unsure of is the degree of cleanliness. The room was, of course, cleaned every day, however I don't think our towels were changed that often. I had a make up mark on my hand towel which I was able to see three days in a row. I would like to think that this was not the case for all. Nevertheless, the hotel overall was very clean.

Staff was generally very friendly, Missed the previous staff in spa though. Friendly suggestion: maybe close-off the pool area for kids at late hours for adults to enjoy some peace and quiet. Also room cleaning was seriously lacking compared to previous stays. Lone is a beautiful hotel, sadly after years of operation it shows some serious wear&tear... We will return after some much needed refubrishment & remodelling.

The comfort of the room, the breakfast, the location (clean and peaceful at wintertime), all perfect. The rooms are clean, the surroundings are wonderful, a forest-beach trail starts at the foot of the hotel. Ideal for running, walking. The old town is walking distance, you just start your walk in the opposite direction then the trail. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Note: the cleaning staff made the bed of our dog every day. This is the cutest thing ever! I attach a photo of it. Only negative is the usage of the sauna area by most of the guests, where people implement the rule of no-bathing suits as to wear nothing at all… Sorry, but from where I come from no-bathing suits in a wellness means that you only wear a towel. But you wear a towel!!! And you don’t go everywhere blank-naked. Maybe I was socialized wrongfully in this, but it was a very unconfortable experience for me.

Excellent hotel for the price. A little pricey charge for pets otherwise good value for money. Excellent breakfast with wide range of choice. Spacious rooms with good beds. Free parking. Extra charge for pets is a bit to high compared to similar hotels (40 EUR/night).

The location The hotel design Room very well soundproofed Friendly staff The heated pool The children playroom has no windows and also the short program in the evening. It would be better if you would organize a corner (somewhere near the coffee bar) with some toys and under parents full responsability (so no employee is needed) for the winter season when the days are short and cold.
