location good -laranjeiras is a good choice, nice staff, delicious breakfast, the building is old but refurbished. spacious room, no problem to checkin at all.

The dormitory is to small. It's lobby not a room. That slave staying inside this room. It's pretty expensive for that minuscule piece. The bathroom are also pretty small.

This dormitory is extremely cramped: 60 cm wide by 4.30 m long. It's a 4-bed dorm, but you'd better book a 10-bed dorm because every 10 minutes you have a guest who moves their suitcase from their bed and puts it on the floor of the tiny hallway to get clothes or something else. So there's never any silence. The curtains are see-through. The AC? Hello, it's the North Pole. 16 degrees? Hello, a fine way to freeze to death. Cherry on top. In the evening, it's open bar and pre-party primping, everyone's getting dolled up, and the smells are constantly overwhelming. Moreover, people come to this guesthouse to go out and party, so you won't get much sleep without being constantly woken up by some girl or guy getting ready to go out. A 4-bed dorm, I thought it was for people who wanted peace and quiet. But the most dynamic ones aren't the Brazilians—no, it's the German men and women who couldn't care less about their surroundings.

The facilities are really pretty and it’s spacious, just like the photos, breakfast was okay but it’s always the same, it’s clean Staff was not friendly at all, it’s not social and it’s not a young environment, they have no activities and don’t explain anything to you about the place

The location was great, close to the metro station and plenty of great restaurants and services nearby. The hostel was ok and the pool was nice especially in the summer heat. The AC in the room (when turned on) was also nice. The drying racks outside of the rooms were also good to hang our wet clothes. The receptionist Rafael was the kindest!! He made our stay pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were not as advertised on the pictures. We stayed in a 6 person mixed room and there was barely any space in the room to store our things and move around. Maybe for 2 people it would've been enough but definitely not 6. Not to mention the safety hazard of climbing to the third level bunk. The bathrooms and showers were also quite dirty at times and below the standards of most hostels I've stayed in over the years.

Not the best value
-
It’s not the best place to socialize and they don’t organize any daily activities. As a solo traveler is not the best place to stay in.
-
Location, pool, AC The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and the rooms way too small. One of the worst hostels I’ve been to.

Cleanings session

They didn´t have any taxi service to call during midnight.

The location was near everything, the hostal was great, very comfortable room, bathroom and no noise around. Definitely an option when coming back. Breakfast was great but our stay was long (7 days) so it was the same, I would prefer a variation for the next time.
-
Friendly staff. Perfect location for my adventures. Nothing major but for sure they need a variety for the breakfast menu. Same breakfast was on the table everyday.
-
Small events to meet others would be nice. I appreciated not having large loud parties like in other hostels, but just a small gathering in the evening would have been nice.
-
The breakfast buffet is very good. Great value hostel. It looks a bit run-down in some areas. The pool area could use some improvement.
-
Raphael at the reception was a great help. Do you know he is one of the greatest drummers ever from Bolivia. I know that because he told me. hot water could have been a little hotter

Apart from that, the breakfast is great and it's always super clean. They keep it immaculate all day long (shared toilets, common areas like the pool and of course the dorms). Always super clean!!!!! Finally the staff who work there are very professional and nice! Yes, the dorms are a bit small however I reckon it's totally fine for travellers. Plus, you get your own good-size locker and curtains on each bed.
-
Well kept facilities, excellent location close to the subway, restaurants and shops and the breakfast is great! While the choices were the same throughout my stay, you get a lot of options including a couple of hot dishes besides the typical coffee, juice, cereal, fruit, yogurt and toast that you can pair with either some sweet spreads or ham and cheese. Nothing major, my key card started malfunctioning mid stay but it was replaced.

Spacious and clean. Nice breakfast. Staff is kind and always ready to help. Nothing

They are serving good breakfast. 1. Staff- most of the staff are not accommodating ( esp. the man serving the breakfast). A not welcoming staff compare to other hostels I stayed. 2. The dorm I stayed ( 102) is not soundproof because of wooden type of division hence you can hear the noise from other dorms and noise from the outside. So don’t expect you can take a good sleep in the dormitory.
