The check in was great, friendly people at the desk. Had trouble with the key. I left my glasses in the cab or airport and couldn't see the tiny arrow to slot it correctly. They were so good to me before during and after the many times we tried several keys. I stayed overnight and had to leave the next morning to meet my mother so I didn't speak of the key or the wet carpet and musty smell. Someone had left the window open and it rained in. They were gracious and gave me a nice room when I returned. It was also determined that the key card receptacle on the door had a low battery. I didn't see any roaches at all and it was basically clean for a Florida hotel that has seen tropical weather. The breakfast bar was sufficient and coffee and hot tea are available all day. I booked on Expedia and got a great rate and when I had to leave for the airport three days early because of the hurricane I was able to have the balance returned to my card that day.

Hotel smelled really bad when I walked in. I thought maybe something was wrong. In the front lobby. I went up The elevator and the lights on the elevator didn't work. So I wasn't sure if it was going to operate like it should. When I got to the fourth floor it smelled like weed. I opened my room and it smelled like mold, stale cigarettes. I called the front desk to complain and they said they would let the assistant manager know. Then I took a shower and after my shower with no hot water, I discovered that I had a wad of hair on my toe, not two or three hairs, but like thirty. Ewww. Call the front desk again same response. The bed seemed clean and was comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. There was a small fridge in the room and a microwave. I did not use, did not check them. No water pressure at all. Carpet seem dirty, dilapidated walls were bubbling underneath the paint. Not sure how they can keep a franchised called quality when there was absolutely no quality about it. I didn't want to stay a second night, but I had to. Don't do it, stay away, beware, beware beware. Breakfast was terrible, cereal watered down milk and water down juice, stale donuts.

I don't even know what to say. This place should not be open at all. My boyfriend found bugs in our bed and a bunch of our outlets didn't work. They let us switch rooms, but we ended up just going back to our original room because the bathroom in the new room looked like a crime scene. There wasn't even a shower curtain. It wasn't until we checked out (a full night early, we literally left at around 3am because we were that grossed out) that my boyfriend told me he'd also seen black mold in our bathroom. I didn't even bother complaining to the staff because, honestly, they've probably heard it all before and they can't do anything to fix the place. The owners/managers are the ones at fault.

This property is past its prime, run down, and should be torn down. You can paint a pig, but to retrofit it into a Holiday Inn Express I think Choice Hotels should reconsider.

Nice staffs

For a cheap overnight stay I was beyond impressed!! Room had a microwave AND fridge which is hard to find in more expensive hotels nowadays! Room was very large, spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Will absolutely stay here again!

La instalacion sucia, el area con muchas personas tomando por los alrededores, mucho ruido de musica, la habitacion muy sucia el aire acondicionado sucio. Tuvimos que irnos y rentar en otro lugar, no lo recomiendo para nada.

Spend one night there woke up with Mark on my body told dad bedbugs. They told me to refuse to switch my room. Worst service ever. Good luck to anyone else.
-
The room itself was minimally clean, sheets appeared clean enough, and there was hot water. Thats it.
-
Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Building is dated and location is urban which was unknown to me prior.
-
Staff should be in uniform.Maybe it was kind of unsafe looking in some of the rooms had no locks on the doors and most of the second floor was vacant and yet they gave me a room but two minus eight and eleven year olds to stay there I had to go back and ask them for another room
-
I booked 2 rooms but there was only 1 reserved by Hotels.com The Hotel was helpful with booking another room, but should not have had to accommodate us.
-
My only complaint is i was unaware of the $100 deposit.
-
Pool area needs to be cleaned, overall everything else was Good! Will be booking in the future.
