MAMO al Museo

It’s a great location close to the centro storico and metro station piazza Cavour. It’s super quiet location behind the museum. Lots of good restaurants and grocery stores too! Marcello is a great host and serves up a great breakfast of Neapolitan pastries, cappuccino and even hard boiled eggs!

It’s down a rather ugly street, but what a great place! Clean, wonderful host, close to many attractions especially the archeological museum, a must see. N/a

Superb

Lovely calm place to stay in the middle of a very hectic area! The B&B is a little gem hidden away at the end of a small alleyway, really close to the National Archaeological Museum. Great location to visit the historic area of Naples, with really easy access to the metro and bus lines. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The apartment itself is in an old building and the outside looks a little rundown (which most of the historic area looks tbh), but inside it's modern, clean and spacious. We had a room for 4 people and we had loads of space (as a family of 4 we usually find hotels squeeze us in with hardly any place to put our bags). Small, clean ensuite bathroom. Marcello is a very gracious host and made us feel very welcome. He also communicated really efficiently with us from the moment we made the booking. We arrived on a very late flight, and he provided us with clear instructions to find the apartment (you have to look for the B&B signs to find it tucked away) and easy key access. No kettle in the room, but every day Marcello left out fruit, cake and access to the coffee machine and kettle in the breakfast room (we didn't realise until the last day unfortunately!). Highly recommended for a city stay in Naples. They needed us to leave the room soon after breakfast so it could be cleaned. We're not a very fast family in the morning and ended up going to a cafe whilst they cleaned so we could then go back and take our time to prepare for the day ahead. They were very polite about it, and it wasn't ridiculously early though (around 10/10.30am).

Such a good place, great location, clean, comfortable beds and nice breakfasts. Highly reccomend :)

I was there with my family. The hotel was located in a quiet area. It was easy to be accessed and the centro historicco neighborhood with all the interesting areas worth to be visited was a short walking distance from the facility. The room was spacious and comfortable. Marcello was very attentive and caring during our stay at MaMo.

Marcello is a very kind and welcoming host: he made us feel welcomed and looked after, and was very responsive to our questions, in person or by whatsapp. (I am highlighting his kindness, because we mainly encountered pretty rude staff in restaurants and shops throughout our stay in Napoli) The room was large and confortable: sleepers, bottles of water were provided and appreciated :-) We loved the lighting of the room and its high ceiling. It was super convenient to have usb sockets by the bed. The location was practical, 5 minutes walk from the metro line 1, stop Museo and just behind the archeological museum. A very lively street full of shops and restaurants was closeby and it was great to be able to just walk out for dinner. A small detail: no elevator.

Comfortable bed. Good shower with new towels every day. Good breakfast. Caring host. Quiet location. 4 flights of stairs. Temporary loss of WiFi for whole stay.

We arrived at the central train station, then walked through the madness of the crowds, pulling our suitcases. we eventually made our way through a couple of narrow streets, the outside of the buildings were worn but our room was a little oasis from the chaos of Napoli. Very nicely done ! The breakfast was fabulous ! not all breakfasts are equal in Italy. Our host was warm and welcoming. Thank you so much for having us we absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Naples

The room was comfortable and so was the bed. Breakfast was full of delicious pastries. The host was kind. The view from the balcony wasn't the best, but the place was quiet.

All was very good, very convenient, clean and new. Also parking was very well organized by the neighbour. A few steps away from everywhere you want to be. Literally in the middle of Naples, which is a different city than every other city I have been too and which I admired from the beginning. I read reviews about the “dark” alley where the B&B is located, but this is Naples! It felt very safe and around every corner is a hidden gem! Don’t hesitate, just go!

Marcello is very kind and welcoming. Breakfast is very good with a good selection of food. Towels were full of hairs, blankets were stained and not clean. Made our stay not really enjoyable.

Exceptional

Marcello is a great host, absolutely welcoming and very kind. He even helped us after our stay, when the trains hit the strike and we didn’t know what to do. The room was clean and the breakfasts were amazing, I would definitelly return. Thank you so so much Marcello! ❤️

Location is basically in the city centre. Host is more than welcoming and polite. Breakfast was also good. If we were to return to Naples, I would book this bed and breakfast again. Nothing.
