Nice as described Navigation to apartment.

The location, near the Chiesa del Gesù Nuovo, is really perfect. Lorenzo who met us to pass us the keys is very helpful with numerous local places to have a drink (OAK bar is tremendous!) or eat. The room is quite spacious and comfortable.

The suite was basic and clean. It was located at the rear of the building with a view down the back alley, contrary to the description of a Landmark/City view. The description of the facilities was an almost complete misrepresentation. Most of the facilities, such as electric kettle/microwave were not available. The wifi was not working no payperview or satellite channels. No outdoor furniture, even if there was a suitable place to put them. We had booked and paid for a 6 night stay with a beautiful view of a historic square. The description acknowledges access by stairs only. The so called duplex suites are on the second floor of the building, accessible by a very narrow and steep staircase. totally unsuitable for most older people or anybody with mobility difficulties. I recommend avoiding this site until the host provides an honest description of what is on offer

The apartment is in the historic district. It is difficult to find the entrance, especially since I was arriving at 1030 at night. And the entrance is down an alley way. There are no signs to point you in the right direction. I found this very frustrating after a long day of travel from the US. This is an Airbnb style apartment. They is no check in area. Someone has to meet you when you arrive to let you in. A major problem was that my key to get in the gate downstairs did not work. They knew there was issues with this key because they said you just need to jiggle the key in the lock if you have trouble. Well I jiggled that key and could not get in. I messaged the host on what’s app and they did not respond to me. This was the next day at approximately 5 pm. I could tell they read my message on what’s app, but no response. Thankfully, a gentleman who also lived in the building was coming out and opened the door. He tried to help me by seeing if he could get my key to work and he could not. He was kind enough to go back up and get a spare key of his and let me use it for the 3 nights I was there. So grateful for that gentleman. He was not the host, just another person living in the building. The other problem was when i landed and turned my phone on the first night before arriving to the apartment, there was a message to me on whats app that they were going to charge me extra because i was checking in late. My plane landed at 10 pm. I responded with saying that this is e first I am hearing of this and when I originally booked i had informed them that I would be arriving after 10 pm. Nothing was said about extra fees at that time. It felt like they were trying to get more money out of me. . Difficult to find the entrance. Not an easy check in process for me. Not clear directions to find the entrance either. Major item was that my key didn’t work. I was a single female traveling on my own. I’m afraid I would have been stranded outside and not able to get in. And they were not responsive on what’s app when I messaged about the issue. For this reason alone, I would not recommend ever staying here !!! I was scared I would be stuck outside all night and not able to get in and this is down a dark alley. I did not feel safe because of this.

We arrived at the agreed time and waited outside for the agent for about half an hour. After the meeting, the agent, Lorenzo, did not leave the impression of someone genuinely interested in ensuring a comfortable check-in or in making guests feel welcome. Instead, I felt like I was being sold something I absolutely didn’t need. Of course, this is very subjective — but I did end up receiving plenty of links to cafes and restaurants run by his friends. As for the accommodation itself: The entrance door had an extremely inconvenient lock that could only be opened with a key from both sides. There was no elevator, and the staircase up two flights was very narrow and steep — carrying large suitcases up was a real challenge. Behind the iron door of the apart-hotel, in a small hallway, were wooden doors leading to individual apartments. The double doors to our apartment had such a flimsy lock that it seemed like it could fall apart at any moment. Notably, the lock’s latch — the standard kind, sloped on one side — had been installed backwards, with the sloped side facing outwards and the flat side hitting the second door leaf, making it nearly impossible to close the door without awkward fiddling. The bathroom was dark and clearly worn out from old, tired repairs. Only one out of four ceiling bulbs worked. The towel hook by the sink was nearly falling out of the wall. The showerhead was so clogged with limescale that water barely trickled out. There was no hot water in either the bathroom or the kitchen taps. The exhaust hood above the stove showed signs of “cleaning” — dust rolled up into clumps. The headboard of the bed was made of faux leather that had been worn through to the point of having holes — and, as I later realized, the peeling material would end up in my hair each morning. This is just a partial list, but it gives a good idea of the quality of the accommodation — a place that Booking.com somehow rated four stars and even gave a thumbs-up.

I’m disappointed by this booking, He promoted a nice place well located, the owner didn’t give us the right room at first, God we are we had to call him call him so he could give us the actual room. Also, the breakfast is supposed to be offered in the price, well we waited the tickets to have the free meal, and we just got coffee, no juices and a croissant. As well, the Wi-Fi is bad more than 20 meters away from the box, and the Wi-Fi is weak, almost inexistent. We paid a tax for four stars hotels, when it was far from being a four star. The location is pretty good though. It’s near the Piazza Dante and the subway, as well near the bus, yet the street is kinda odd at night and it’s a little hard to find and the view is kinda lame.

Lorenzo is an excellent host. He provided great recommendations on local attractions and dining options in Naples. The apartment is perfectly situated in the old town, just a short walk from Via Toledo, Piazza Plebiscito, and Maschio Angioino. The National Archaeological Museum is about a 15-minute walk away, as is the Port of Naples. The breakfast was fantastic. Traditional Italian selection was available at a nearby café. We enjoyed freshly baked croissants, delicious snacks, coffee and cappuccino. I truly appreciated Lorenzo's kindness in allowing us to stay in the room as long as we needed on our departure day. This was a wonderful gesture!

Lorenzo was very helpful with restaurants addresses. Room was clean. Plenty of restaurants around & close to metro. Unlucky with hot water.

It was centrally located to the main streets where everyone shops and eats. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and entertainment available just steps from the apartment. Everything was clean and well kept. Modern space in a very old building - unique. Very nice city view from small balcony. Host was readily available and able to answer all our questions and gave us recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed more days if we had the time! Steep steps to the third floor and no elevator, but totally expected that and was ready for the climb with luggage. Only window located just off the main street, so it was a bit noisy until all hours of the night (even with the heavy shutter doors closed) - we stayed on a Sunday night. But if you like that type of city noise and being in the middle of the action, this is the place for you. Could have used better instructions on how to use the coffee maker!

Good location, large comfortable main bedroom. A/C & heater. Useful Kitchen with hob kettle & fridge. Very secure - three locked access doors. Continental Breakfast was very good in nearby cafe, lovely coffee & croissants. Very friendly staff. Would be better if there were some comfortable chairs in main bedroom to sit & relax. Second room with sofa bed very plain - no pictures or furnishings. No heated towel rail in bathroom.
