La Smorfia

The location, the host and staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations. Francesco and staff were very helpful in suggesting restaurants and making reservations, getting taxis, orienting us to the city and suggesting areas and sights to explore. The owner of the building has recently required payment of .50 euros to use the elevator. La Smorfia has no control over this. This requirement means that for people who have difficulty climbing to the third floor, it’s necessary to have a good supply of 50 cent pieces.

As marked above - staff, cleanliness of room and the location was acceptable. The breakfast was a little small. The elevator was even smaller. But there was one!

The location was excellent. Close to what we wanted to visit. Right in the Historic Center of Naples, just a few steps away from the archeological Museum. Close to 2 metro stations so it was well connected. Our room was pretty big. We had to pay extra for the (very) late check in. But Antonio was super nice and the lady at the reception very helpful.

Room was good, bathroom was nice and clean. Air conditioning was a bit noisy, but it was working and it was efficient. Breakfast across the street, but good. Pretty nice building as well. Nothing really, would stay there again

The host was very friendly and it was super easy to communicate with him. He really made our stay special. The location was perfect - very central! The Palazzo is an amazing place and the room was really comfortable. If I ever go to Napoli again, I would like to stay there again.

Location was great - very close to archaeological museum and historic centre; staff were super helpful; it was quiet despite being very central; room was very spacious and clean.

Nice spacy room, very clean and great staff. They helped us with arranging a day tour to Pompei and booked a taxi to bring us to the airport. It would be nice if there were two little chairs on the balcony.

The room was very spacious with a renovated bathroom and air conditioning. Overall the BnB was clean and very modern and we felt safe at all times. Our host was very gracious and sat us down to give us restaurant information and city transport advice. Something that could've been better was a more comfortable bed. The mattress was pretty stiff and it seems like more could be invested into a better mattress. Additionally more bedding options and comfier sheets would be a plus.

Excellent location, friendly staff and very clean. In case you need to check out but you still have time to visit the city they let you leave the luggage in their facility. Room are spacious and very quite. Breakfast is just 100m from the apartment but is perfect to start your day. If you stay in this apartment is important that you know that in order to use the elevator you need to pay 50cent per trip but the host is trying to help you with the cost and they are very fair and they let you know immediately about this little detail. Overall highly recommended!!

Francesco greeted us at the door, and was flexible allowing us to check in quite early. He was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The Cafe breakfast was actually quite good...the sfogliatelle pastry was the best we had in Naples, and i had it for breakfast every morning. Paying 50 cents to use the elevator is a nuisance but is the rule of the building, not the B&B, and they tried to make it less bothersome by giving you 2 50 cent pieces for each day of your stay. The location could not be better. A short walk to the National Archeology Museum and a 10 minute walk to the Spaccanapoli street, the historic center of the city. the price can't be beat for such a well maintained and well located property paying for the elevator, which was also uncomfortably narrow.

The host was amazing! He spoke English fluently and gave us a lot of tips about the city. The room was very spacious with high ceilings. Although the window and balcony were on a busy street you couldn't hear anything when closing the big blinds. It was very clean and well maintained. The complementary breakfast was at a nearby café and it was delicious. The building requires a 50 cents fee for using the elevator. This is out of control of the owner of La Smorfia so he reimbursed for a trip up and down each day of our stay. There are stairs that you can use as an alternative.
