Absolutely nothing! They ruined our trip It was overall an horrible experience for us. 1- Cleanliness: 0/10 On our second day we realized that there were dirty towels on our bed. Then the staff told us that they LITERALLY TOOK DIRTY USED TOWELS OFF THE FLOOR AND PUT THEM ON OUR BED!!! Once we told this issue to the receptionist, he informed us that the towels are changed after only 3 (THREE) DAYS!!!! What kind of a hygiene level does this place have? We stayed for 3 nights and had to sleep in the same sheets on which they put dirty towels, we were so so disgusted! 2- Staff: 2/10 We arrived at 15.00 and had to wait 40 mins to complete the check in. They had no waiting area or even chairs to sit, we were incredibly exhausted and when asked to be seated whilst waiting the receptionist was really rude and raised his voice stating he’s the only one here and we need to wait. Why is this our problem? The cleaning staff starts working around 8-8.30 AM, they’re incredibly loud, impossible to even stay in the room after they start working. About the towel incident, the staff tried to explain how it’s their “normal procedure” and we should’ve keep using the same towels. We were so fed up and told them ok couple of times but this “explanation” and kind of blaming us kept going for the entire stay. 3- Facility: 5/10 There is a paid elevator during specific times of the day. The reception is on the 6th floor of the building and the rooms are distributed in the same building. You may have to climb 6 floors if you don’t have change, be cautious. There are no toiletries as well. Only shampoo was given, not even a hand soap.

Nice location near the port, we were offered an upgraded room with a nice bathtub and TV. The room was clean, promptly ready. Check in was very easy and staff was very helpful, they also allowed us to store our luggage with them after check in while we had lunch. None

I wouldn’t stay here again, mainly due to safety, cleanliness, and maintenance issues. The entire building is very dark, with most lights broken, and all the exterior and interior doors were always open, so there’s essentially no security. My entry codes didn’t work at check-in, and someone had to physically let me in. The elevator also requires €0.05 coins at certain hours with very unclear signage. Inside, the room had several issues: stains on the comforter, a towel hanger coming out of the wall, loose outlets and lights, mold in the shower corners, and poor insulation so the heater (placed directly in front of the bed) couldn’t keep the room warm. The AC unit stayed on heat mode but blew cold air at 23°C, and the remote didn’t seem to control it. The Wi-Fi constantly dropped while I was working, the power went out one day, and I could hear people in nearby rooms snoring. Outside, the area felt unsafe at night—large groups of drunk men were hanging around, staring and singing—so as a solo woman, I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my room. The location near the train station and the large balcony are the few positives, but overall, this stay was far below expectations.

I found it as a great deal - a quite low price but you got everything you needed and the location was just great. Very close to the port and to metro & bus stops. Many restaurants and cafes in the area, you could get to the city center easily by foot. I would go there again for my next visit. To use the elevator in the building, you apparantly need to insert 5cent coins. The coin machine was out of order during my stay so I could use the elevator for free as I wished. But it is better to have some coins prepared in case you would have to pay (and our room was on the 8th floor). This is not something the hotel made, it is just how it is in that building which shares more institutions. I visited in late November and the floor of the room and bathroom was very cold - but you can use the AC in the room as heating.

You had to pay to use the elevator during certain hours. It was only 5 cents euro, however, trying to get enough 5 cent coins is a challenge. This is an unnecessary burden to the guest.

    The staff

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

No soap dish in the shower to place your shampoo bottle. The shower hose was difficult to manage. There was a step down from the bathroom to the bedroom space that one had to watch out for.

It is in a central location directly in front of the ferry station and 7-10 min walking to the Spanish square. The staff are really helpful and do their best to provide you with any request.

The location is right across the street from the main cruise ship port. The staff treated us with respect, care, and lots of welcoming smiles. The room was exactly what we needed: a cool, comfortable bed and quiet place to relax after a long day of traveling. It's on the 6th floor and elevators/lifts require .05 euro to operate at certain times of the day. Come prepared for that, but don't let it deter you from the hotel. We couldn't be happier with the experience. The only real drawback is the elevator/lift fee, but that's nitpicking because I have to write something here. I can't think of any issues that we encountered during our stay. The stairs are wide and well lit, in case you have to use them.

The location was so close to the ferry port and restuarants. Great ocean view from our large balcony.

Location, a cross the street from the port

The extra fee to self check-in was not appreciated.

  • Engine customer Jun 2025

Room was clean and spacious, the bathroom a little rundown. View directly on the ferry terminal (cruise ship and ferry closeby), high traffic street owning to the convenience of the location. It wasn’t an issue being on the 8th floor. Staff very nice and helpful, prompt check-in/out. Wifi very strong Location a little hard to pinpoint at first as the entrance is via a side street (not the main road), but eventually convenient with the instructions provided.

The location of the hotel, inside of another building...was a but hard to navigate

  • Engine customer May 2025

Most of the issues in the previous bad reviews have been corrected. The unit was nice and clean and freshly painted. The bathroom was clean with lots of hot water. The view from the terrace was great. The property is located on a very steep and long walk from the main road. We are senior citizens with heavy luggage and the trip down was very hard. The host provided assistance on the way out, which was very nice. There are no amenities. No way to make coffee, toast, microwave, etc. Just a bed and bathroom.
