B&B Il Golfo

The staff are very kind and helpful, even though we had a bit of a difficult time communicating, but all are solved with smiles!! The view from the balcony is a bonus! The second bed was not made upon request, but it was not a huge deal.

The view was great, especially since we could see the ships docking in the port nearby. We had also a lovely view of the Duomo just like in the pictures. We also enjoyed the breakfast even if it was a bit to sweet for us. We balanced it out with personal purchases of prossutto and cheese. The toilet seat was a bit to high for me and my kid so it was a bit uncomfortable, but we managed.

The location is very convenient, not the cleanest neighborhood though. I’m surprised the city of Naples doesn’t maintain the surrounding areas of the central train station a little neater as it’s a main tourist hub. The only thing I didn’t like is that breakfast was served “by appointment “ you give the time and they take it to your room. But what if you decide to change plans late the night before, the breakfast was very good though.

nice view, well appointed room very noisy in the hallways at all hours of the niight. Elevator did not work when we had to leave so we had to haul suitcases down many flights.

Property is right next to the train station and the stay was excellent in every aspect. I would definitely stay here again Nothing

You do need to be aware of pickpockets. We had two attempts made on us during daylight. Just stay alert.

It was close to Napoli train station Its surrounding area was very dirty and not safe.

Nothing, everything was great

Location near the train station Quite outdated, very basic, very thin walls and felt a bit dirty. We weren’t given clear check in instructions either so we had to contact the owner for clarification. Also bizarre that there is a charge to use the lift up to the 7th floor… We stayed for only one night so it was ok but would probably opt for somewhere else if we were staying for longer.

Lovely spacious room and large en-suite shower room. Very clean, had A/C but we didn’t need it Bit tricky to find as it’s within a gated block. Google maps shows where it is though and there is a small sign on the doorway.

Good location, but not safe The owner doesn t know english, there was no heat in the room, muld in the bathroom. If you want to take a shower you will not have pressure and the water is cold. I hope booking will close this location for good.

Central location The B&B was tired in appearance. You had to eat in your room with breakfast served on as tray. The choice of breakfast was what was on the tray!

starting with great location for those who want to move daily out of napoli to other tourist destinations. very clean, they change towels every day and refill the toiletries. a super friendly host who is available in the b&b most of the time, contrary to other hosts we’ve encountered during our long trip. very generous breakfast served in the room and that we’ve never been able to eat it all!! wonderful service….a 5 stars b&b they have to work more on soundproofing as we were able to hear other guests talking in the lobby

Big room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Perfect for our 1 night stay in Naples. Simple continental breakfast included. Central location but not a great area at night. Just be aware.
