Location, location location, owner Johnny was super nice and helpful, clean and comfortable bed. Nice cafe next door for coffee, croissant, and gelato at night. Can be a little noisy because of the echo in the hallway, can hear other guests coming and found, outside trash pick early up in the morning.

This hotel is in a good location just outside the sassi (old town) and a short walk from the train station but our room was facing the street and very noisy with the roar of motorcycles and people late into the night. There are also about 25 stairs up to the hotel and no lift. The staff is friendly though and will carry your bags up. Noise from the street

The room was quiet and absolutely well situated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Continental breakfast was very good. There could be more towel hangers.

The hotel was very nice and the location was great for visiting the historical areas of Matera. Breakfast was furnished at a cafe a few doors down. The lobby of the hotel was located up a few flights of stairs and not at ground level. I would not recommend this hotel to individuals that have mobility issues.

It was okay for one night, but that’s about it. A lot of noise, and everything could be heard very loudly. I had the room next to the reception - the door wouldn’t close properly, and everything was extremely noisy.
