The room was very nice and very clean. The building is well located, just steps from the old town. Breakfast is served in your room. Antonio was super friendly and attentive to our needs.

The location is perfect. Quick and easy access to main areas. The host was exceptional and spent almost an entire day to help us with a problem (locked keys inside rental car on a Sunday)!! There is nothing we didn’t like.

Local Construction made our arrival a bit awkward, but our hotel host came to where we were and helped get us to the hotel. Such a lovely thing to do! Property was in a perfect location near restaurants and sights.

Clean, comfortable and good location. Everything was great. We had to park on the street and pay for parking. It would be better if this cost could be refunded or if on-site parking were available.

Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Location is awesome. Near train station (which is nearing completion of construction) and a 10 minute walk to the main square of the old town and the steps to the Sassi. The walk to old town takes you by many places to eat, bakeries, coffee places and the morning market. The breakfast while pleasantly served is not worth 15 euro per person.

Communication is done mainly through what’s app but we do not use it. Owner then used our text and email but said he could not reach us. But both of them were correct. Again this did not take away from our scoring 10… just a communication problem

The owners were amazing and so very kind. The property looks brand new inside and is extremely well appointed. I highly recommend paying for breakfast! It was so good and so much food that we didn't need to eat til supper! I would stay again in a heartbeat. Matera was one of our favorite places and this was the perfect hotel in an amazing location for all we needed to do. The internet was sporadic and did kick us off often.

We loved our stay at Maison Boutique! Claire was beyond just kind and helpful…she made us feel like family! The room was perfect in every way, and we loved our ‘room service’ breakfast. We were very fortunate to get a parking spot on premises too. Wonderful in every way!!

Great host and service, breakfast was served to us in our room, nice touch. Great location. We had a nice balcony view of the plaza. Close to the train station Maybe some additional choices for breakfast, like eggs would help.

Antonello was extremely helpful, met us at the front door when we couldn't locate the place. The place is very well managed, clean and comfortable and quiet. Nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Just FYI / the building is facing the little parklet but does not have an easily recognizable sign.

From the moment we arrived, Antonello was kind enough to actually park our car after a long journey from Rome. He waited for us as we were late arriving. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was perfect. Breakfast in bed was fantastic, the espresso, cappuccino, croissants of different kinds, a savory focaccia, juice and ice cold water! Also the room had a kettle and a variety of teas, and a Nespresso machine with a bunch of pods. The lovely Clara was a great help in helping us plan our day in Matera and both gave us advice on where to eat lunch or dinner. Overall was an excellent stay for a couple of nights, and I would happily stay again. Thank you Antonello, Clara and Julietta for your hospitality. It was perfect

Antonelo and Clara were amazing, even saved a parking spot on the street for me. The room is very clean, everything you need and the location is a few minutes from the main square. I walked by foot everywhere
