Maison Ka Marrakech

I don't write many reviews on here - I generally can't be bothered, but I'm going to make an exception for Maison Ka because I was unfortunate enough to get sick in Marrakech (touch of gastric distress I must have picked up on the road) and instead of staying one night, I ended up there for four. The staff were quite magnificent and looked after me in exactly the way you'd want when you're confined to quarters for a few days. They checked in on me regularly, but not intrusively so and were available at the click of a WhatsApp message to bring me more water, toilet paper, towels and, eventually, once I felt up to it, food. The place is delightful - small, but scrupulously clean. On arrival, they helped me park my motorcycle in their secure compound, offered me tea and then carried my bags to my room (always a nice touch). The breakfasts were great, the dinner was delicious and the wifi was fast. My bed was clean, comfortable and came with very good quality bed linen which unlike so many other places I've stayed in, completely enclosed the blanket. When I finally checked out, the total bill (given that I'd had a lot of items brought to my room) was astonishingly reasonable. Not far off four times what I was expecting to pay for that single night on a discount booking.com deal when I'd actually stayed four. Honestly, there's nothing I didn't like about Maison Ka and although I eventually made it out and about on my final day, I'm just gutted I didn't have the get up and go to have one of their spa treatments or use their little rooftop pool. If you're wondering about whether you should book here, I promise you that you're going to enjoy this place. It's not an ultra-luxury, high-end Riad, but they don't charge ultra-luxury, high-end prices. It's a really good, honest, clean and lovely place with staff who really. understand the meaning of hospitality. Like almost everywhere else in Marrakech, don't judge a place by either the neighbourhood or the street outside. Yes, it looks like nothing at all as you roll up down a little side street wondering if you're in the right place. That's Normal For Morocco. Also, it's about a five minute ride in a Petit Taxi to the main square. That's about five euros or 50 MAD as of 2026. Neither of these are things I didn't like - but I had to write something.

Our 6-night stay at Maison Ka was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we booked, the level of care was incredible; they contacted us immediately and were available 24/7 via WhatsApp, anticipating our needs before we even realized them. It felt like they were constantly one step ahead, offering solutions to logistics we hadn’t even thought of yet. They truly treat you like family. A perfect example of their dedication was returning late at night to find them waiting at the door to welcome us back safely. Expert Coordination & Flexibility The team coordinated all of our taxis and excursions, which was incredibly helpful. While you might find slightly cheaper prices on apps like GetYourGuide, booking through the Riad is worth every penny. Maison Ka uses their experience to select the best-quality companies, and they offer the flexibility to change dates or times—something you simply don’t get with the strict 24-hour cancellation policies on third-party apps. The Room & Amenities Our room was spotless and refreshed every single day. It featured: • A small fridge (perfect for keeping drinks cold). • AC and a high-quality fan, which provided great airflow and the perfect ambient sound for a restful sleep. • A very comfortable, clean environment overall. Dining & Spa We looked forward to breakfast every morning; it was delicious, filling, and the perfect start to the day. However, the absolute highlight was the Hammam Treatment at the Spa. It is a professional, high-quality experience that I feel every guest should try at least once. Everything at Maison Ka was professional and very well-priced. I cannot recommend this Riad enough to friends and family. Thank you for making our trip so memorable! Everything was good

The food was great, Mohammed was VERY hospitable and he made my group and I feel very comfortable. We had the best time in Marrakesh and this stay made us enjoy our stay even more and we are very happy we chose to stay here. Nothing at the moment!

We have stayed in Maison KA for 5 night in early January. The place is quiet and clean, despite the surrounding area is old and very residential. The staff is very nice and willing to do anything to make guests feel comfortable. We joined the New year celebration dinner, the food was excellent, there is little bit of dance and live music. The highlight for this place is the rooftop patio, full of comfy couches, colorful, just like the pictures. The location is little bit hard to find, even for the local taxi driver. It is close to medina but not that close. The neighborhood is lively local so be prepared to to walk around dumps, dirty streets and crowded sidewalk, The rooms are bit of small, and the first floor only has windows open to the reception area so when windows are closed all day, the room has little damp smell. The breakfast is not included and it is pretty big, so you can share one with two people. We went to food market got some bread and fruits for our breakfast for a couple of morning. The staff is very kind provided us hot water so we made our own tea and coffee. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Great breakfast and service from everyone. All staff are super respectful and always willing to help with a smile! They can even help you book trips to and from the desert or Atlas mountains for you!

The rooms were ovely but somewhat compact.

This was a last minute booking because we did not like our original riad so we decided to move. The staff were sooo accommodating and had our room ready for us just 1 hour after booking!! This was the best hospitality we received in the whole of Marrakesh and we stayed in many riads!! They even offered to post my Kindle back to me because I left it in the room before going to the airport. The hammam was AMAZING! This is definitely a must do and very good value for money. The bed was super comfortable and the food was really good quality and very tasty. I won't stay anywhere else when I visit in future. Thank you so much!

Very nice and helpful staff and comfortable place.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I forgot my backpack in a taxi and the manager of the property helped in recovering it. The pool area is very nice, the room and whole building was spotless. We are a family of 5, ( couple and 3 young adult children) and the room was very adequate with a separate area for 3 twin beds. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. Nothing to blame on the property, just my own miscalculation but it’s a little far to walk to the Plaza Jamaa el afana, and Medina and talking 2 taxis for 5 was a little bit of a hustle. We walked a couple of time, about 20 mins. For 2 people, for instance would. Be much easier to go in small taxi ( easy to find around the property).
