There was not really hot water in the shower. It was quite cold in Marsch, the AC did not heat the room.

The staff was very kind and helpful at all times, the air condition works pretty fine, there is hot water at all times, the location is very close to the Medina and close to the bus stop Just that this property is not very clean and a old building not very clean with no lift you have to carry your bags to the 1st floor the renovated rooms are at the 3rd floor there are no lights in the corridor very hard to manage the breakfast was cold at all times, there are better options in the area please look harder for a better property to stay at.

BREAKFAST WAS VERY MODEST
-
Nothing, very small rooms compared to the cost they charge per night. Small room, breakfast full of bread only this is what they are presenting in their buffet.
-
Very close to mosque..which is very suitable to visit to city center and surrounding..

I loved how hospitable and friendly the staff was. The hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Solo traveler in Room #236. I booked 5 nites total, on 3 separate reservations. Room was comfortable, bed quite large, hot water shower with very good pressure. Balcony to sit outside when weather allows. there’s evening outside noise & cacophony but that doesn’t bother me at all (as I’ve learned to tune it out). Breakfast is offered on the outdoor terrace & appears adequate but it could offer some fruit instead of so many bread choices. Room lighting is good. Staff excellent, friendly & accommodating. Very safe. Great location just outside The Medina. Room has a TV (which I didn’t watch at all). There’s no functioning safe deposit box or mini-fridge in the room. Air con didn’t work at all. WiFi in bedroom is atrocious, best on terrace, in main lobby or anywhere else but in the bedroom. Also, beware of the wet tiled bathroom floor after showering: it’s slippery, so be extremely careful. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was ALWAYS empty, never filled. There is nowhere to place your luggage or bag to open it up, except on the bed or the floor. Needs a “DO NOT DISTURB” sign to hang outside the door. Also, on my last day at breakfast, I was hounded by one of the breakfast servers for a ”tip” (after he found out it was my check-out day: NOT COOL.

Disappointing
-
The bed was large and the staff was friendly. I left 50 euro cash in my room because I was unaware they were going to enter my room to clean and it went missing. The bathroom also flooded the room with poor drainage.

Great location, clean and comfortable, restaurant provides excellent views as well as quality food. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. However compared to other places we stayed, it was a bit impersonal.

Very good

It was very clean ,very good smell and the best staff. The hotel is located at the best place in Medina, it is close to the mosque koutoubia and jemaa el-fnaa (market stalls).

Good
-
Great location - right across from Koutoubia Mosque and less then 5 minutes from Jemaa el-Fna. Friendly staff and breakfast on the terrace which overlooks the Mosque. Breakfast was just okay. It sounded like they were moving furniture in the restaurant above us at 6am both days we were there and the shower was really slow to drain.

Thank you Abderrezzak and Mouhi at Islane

Location was the best and rest was just below average.

Excellent location, rooms were clean, breakfast was OK, a bit noisy but not too bad,. We had pigeons above our room in the roof, but luckily they didn't make any noise in the night. Sound proofing

The location was good. You get a great view of the main mosque from the terrace. We visited in early February and Marrakech gets quite cold in winter. Breakfast was served on the main open terrace and everything was freezing. There was a toaster were you could heat up toast but you had to put each items in 3 to 4 times before it became edible. The variety was limited and poor and orange juice came straight out of a powder mixture. When I complained to the staff they told me that they know the experience is bad but management just will not change anything. When I complained to the manager he said he will look into improving things but nothing changed during our stay. The room was very small and uncomfortable. The traffic noise was terrible. In hindsight I should have just changed hotels as this experience ruined my visit to Marrakech.
