A little run down inside the room but pretty good overall.

Place was a good stay for overnights.

Hospitality and staff are friendly

I went to the front desk to extend my room another night and was told I could, but I would have to book another room. I was fine with that and was then told the hotel was sold out for the night. I asked if I could extend the room until 3 because it’s an option listed on the website and on the form they gave me when I checked in. The young man at the desk told me I could not extend my room until 3pm either because they were sold out. I went to the Hyatt website and they had rooms available for the day and the Hotels.com also had rooms available. Since it appeared my money was not good enough I went across the street to the Sonesta where the staff was nice and accommodating. I got a room right away for a cheaper rate. They waived the early check in fee and the whole process took less than 5 minutes.

We stayed here when visiting our daughter who lives in Westchester so only minutes away from LAX. The hotel is surprisingly comfortable for an airport hotel and staff are friendly. The free buffet breakfast isn’t exactly gourmet and the seating area could be cleaned more often, but it is convenient.

The pool and spa weren't clean and a bit disappointing. Also, a separate shower is pretty much standard these days so the bath and shower curtain were disappointing as well.

The room we got was fine. However, they don’t have a loading/unloading area for your luggage. There’s an area for loading/unloading but the desk attendant said there was a lawsuit pending so it can’t be used. Plus the parking area has such low overhead, it’s hard to park a van anywhere past the first floor. First and last time for me.
