They had a rubber duck scavenger hunt for adults and kids. It was so much fun! The only negative was that they do not have a pool but you can cross the street and use their sister hotels pool.

Our issue was service and staff. Had specifically booked because of 3pm (rather than 4 at most nearby hotels), checking time, however our room was not ready til 5:30! My elderly mother on a wheelchai, and bad health had to wait in lobby almost 3 extra hours. This affected the rest of our stay as she was got too tired, sick, hungry had no access to medication, a bed or a shower. Front desk I was taken back at rudeness when I asked for some type of compensation/discount, and was told rudely that "I was already getting a discounted rate', and their prices are usually higher"; even tho I booked thru Expedia and that was the rate it showed. They did not want to help with any discounts or offered any solutions rather than throw it in my face that I already got a discounted rate. Not very customer friendly.

We love the room and how I don’t think anyone hears our noises! The tv, our talking and laughing! I hope not. Lol! We also love the free breakfast! Will stay here again, and recommend to everyone who asks.

Booked a room thru Expedia for 1 night. I was charged for incidental upon check in. I checked out this morning and noticed an additional $144.00 fee on my acct. When I called the front desk I was informed the guy who checked me in was "new" and he made a mistake. They told me to reach out to Expedia for reimbursement. They didnt understand that the extra charge was made by the hotel. Asked to speak to the manager was informed Manager "Jordan" went to the bank and wouldn't be back for 2hrs. I called back asked for Jordan and she didnt ask anything she just said it had been fixed and I had to wait 5- 10 days for reimbursement. Proceed to tell me i would be getting partial deposit due to parking. I was never informed or asked if I had a vehicle with me. She didn't try to make it right. When I asked if I can get payment released sooner she got upset and said no and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. Never again. Very disappointing.

Clean and modern room. Staff was friendly. Location was close to Spectrum and accessible to Fwy 5.

Exceptional

The location of this hotel was a bit unusual, in a shopping mall, but it turned out to be a plus because there were several restaurants to eat at all within very easy walking distance. I was quite pleased with our room, we had a couch, a desk to use our laptops, several USB ports for recharging and I liked the layout of the room. The complimentary breakfast had wonderful hot food and a great hot oatmeal bar. There is a $20 a day fee for parking under the hotel which is gated. Access to the freeway is very quick and convenient. I would stay here again.

Breakfast not great. Biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were rock hard. Couldn't even cut them. Scrambles eggs were under cooked and hash browns were over cooked.
