I travel a lot and this Hotel by far was the best one of all. I definitely would stay again and I do recommend it

Location great. New and clean open parking lot can accommodate my large Van. Parking fee for open lot..this needs to be included based off price of room. Several other hotels nearby with open parking lots not charging extra. This is a deal breaker ADD ON's. The put Room key into slot to get room lights to operate, ok i get energy conservation although. suggestion make this box glow cant see at night when you enter room from bright hallway. Also front desk said you need to put key in to make bathroom lights work..Statement should be " upon entering room inside door put key into slot for lights to turn on"

The corner room is spacious, comfortable, and well laid out, but it has a significant issue: an unpleasant odor coming from the carpet. The bathroom and entrance area have washable flooring, which allows for good hygiene and easy cleaning; however, the rest of the room is carpeted, causing a persistent and unpleasant smell. I requested a room change, but unfortunately, the same problem occurred. In today’s standards, hotels should avoid using carpets in rooms, as they make proper cleaning and hygiene more difficult

Everything was great about the hotel, staff and the room - comes with a load of stuff - fridge, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, cook top, toaster, utensils and plates and everything needed for an amazing stay with option to cook your own food also. The EV charger was having issues with my tesla. The bathroom was good with state of the art shower. The only aspect was that they charge $15 per night per car for parking which was not mentioned anywhere and was a surpise hidden charge. It easily adds up to a big amount if you stay for a couple of days. Overall, a good experience. Might return to this place.

Kai, the girl at the front desk was amazing! She could see we were tired from a long day on the road, and she got us checked in very quickly while also engaging in brief, friendly conversation.

Excellent experience. Highly recommended. Staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The room is clean, and the propety as well. Location is good, close to restaurants and the trolley going to Laguna Beach is just 10 minutes drive.

Is a quiet place.

Close to food options, easy on/off the freeway and close to our events this weekend. Breakfast options were decent and the room was nice. Would definitely stay again.

It’s a new and clean hotel, friendly front desk, breakfast is very limited and ends up early than usual, breakfast lady was so strict refused us to bring out oatmeal 3 minutes after breakfast time, eventhough Hotel is new the air conditioning type is poor, there was a constant fan noise in the bathroom during the night and it’s completely unnecessary to ask for parking fee

My family enjoyed our stay.

Loved my room with kitchenette. Everything was fairly clean and hotel staff was amazing. My only note is my room did smell a little bit like wet dog. Otherwise, it was good value and great location.

They went out of their way to make sure that my accommodations were done, with my specific needs.

This hotel was mediocre. It looked nice but the amenities were average. The queen beds felt like full beds. We had to run the water in the shower for a while before it got warm/hot. Poor communication between management and employees. There were a lot of miscommunications. The breakfast was sub par. I was surprised to have this experience with a Marriott hotel. I will not stay at this hotel again, however I will choose to stay at a better Marriott hotel.

Its a quiet place, lots of restaurants near by. The room had a funny smell in it plus you get charged for parking.

Hotel was clean and we enjoyed having a kitchenette for our leftovers, which usually go to waste.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The wall heater/AC was a little noisy so I turned it off. Temperature was fine. Bed was good. Only one elevator was working of the two, which made things a little busy in the morning going to breakfast. Breakfast is just okay, but then I eat a super clean diet, so there are never many choices for me anywhere...Since the unit has a kitchenette, can bring your own food. Location is convenient to most everything in South OC. I've stayed here before, and will stay again.

At the end of each corridor way is big garbage drum in each floor in front of the air conditioning and everyone throwing their trash’s and air conditioning helps to blow the trash smells in all the corridor just like fragrance spray but you smell trashy smell

I reserved and prepaid an upgraded one bedroom suite several weeks in advance of my stay. Upon my arrival, during the check in process, I was informed that my room was given to another party and I had been preassigned a downgraded room with no alternatives since the hotel was "sold out". I was never informed of this process until check in and I was never compensated for the decreased value of the downgraded accommodation. Management was no where to be found. Since I am unwilling to gamble the quality of my travel experience on such questionable business practices I will not be staying at TownePlace Suites in the future nor recommend them.

Rooms are very large and very comfortable. Took off a star due to property not being upfront about $15 nightly parking rate.

Best place I’ve stayed in a long time!

The location, price, and customer service was great. I didn’t feel like our vehicle would be broken into which is always a big plus. The one thing I wasn’t expecting was paying for parking which perhaps may be the norm in this area. Either way, we’ll definitely stay here again.

On December 1st 2023 my Wife and I had issue with the restroom not flushing properly that evening, we had a late checking that evening called the front desk to get it fixed and stated that can’t get anyone there till next day. I had to go down to the lobby restroom the following morning to use the facility. So that same morning a different worker was there and I stated my concern and request to be changed to another room if possible, she then without hesitation immediately started to search a room and found one and relocated us and everything I felt like the night staff worker should of try to move us that evening but didn’t offer nor didn’t I ask either. Just wanted to let you all know but overall we enjoyed it. The Marquez’s

I was born with Ehlers Danlos which directly effects physical mobility. The handicap friendly suites are hands down the best layout I’ve ever encountered. I’m not tripping on myself nor am I worried about falling in the shower. Definitely my favorite place.

Great stay! In safe area, nice big room with kitchen, dishwasher and all plates, silverware, pans etc. Breakfast was very good, staff were very friendly. We will definitely return if we come to this area again.

Looking at the room, it looked updated but internet connection was slow, the body wash, conditioner, and shampoo was low, the plumbing on the toilet was awful - was scared to take a number two, and residue spot from cleaner I hope. Only thing I liked about the place was being available and the complimentary breakfast.

Bottom line, you can't rely on this hotel to have your room ready at the 4:00pm checkin time. I booked 2 rooms for 2 days - upon arrival at 4:30 pm (a half hour after check-in time) NEITHER ROOM WAS READY. This might not seem like a big deal, but after driving for 7.5 hours from San Francisco with my 85 year old father, it was. At check we were given no estimate for being able to get into our room -- the answer was "I don't know," just wait here in the lobby. My dad needed to be able to get into a room and rest before our eventing event. After much discussion with the front desk, I asked for ANY ROOM, so my father could rest. At 5 pm the front desk finally gave us a room - they had rooms available, just not our King studios. They refused to give us a room until the discussion got heated. The facilities are fine - but they clearly do not care about their customers. I will NOT BE BACK!!

My room was not ready when I arrived. They provided a desk in the room but no chair. Issue with electrical popping breakers continually. Not due to amp overload. No, Zero, 0 water pressure and towels like sandpaper. Well stocked mini store for microwave products, drinks etc. Rooms have mini kitchen and it nicely stocked. Good not great breakfast buffet. Certainly a lot to select from. Odd diets will love it.

Charged me for a “pet stay” when I literally did not have a pet stay. DO not stay here, staff is unfriendly, egotistical, and not helpful.
