    Location is excellent for a stranded passenger , 2.4 miles from the airport. I was stranded at DFW at 9 pm and for $75 they gave me a room to sleep. I was tired and that’s all I needed. The person at the front desk was very nice and helpful; both at 10:30 pm when I arrived and 7 am when I departed. 1 person does it all for all guests. They offer a shuttle service to DFW what is essential. Facilities are dated, in disarray, need a coat of paint and not very clean, shredded curtains, the AC didn’t have knobs to turn it off, etc. The breakfast was a pot of coffee and hot water but both were empty by 7 am. There was OJ and a cereal bar. So essentially no breakfast although advertised. The staff was nice but couldn’t overcome the overall state of the place. I wouldn’t stay again. There’s a La Quinta across the street and would have been a better option. But again, for a stranded passenger they offer you a bed and that is better than sleeping at the airport.

    How close it was to the airport Basically everything other than location. Walk in the front door to the literal ceiling falling down. Weed smell all through the place, dead bugs on floor, moldy base coat falling away from wall, broken beds that dump you out of them when you sit, electrical plugs falling out of wall, broken doors on cabinet that are held together with black duct tape, toilet plungers sitting in hallway, too many patches of missing carpet and stains on walls to count. I don’t typically expect much with a cheap hotel and never leave reviews BUT this was the worst of the worst. Not to mention there’s zero security as transients went up and down the hall all night asking for $2. Didn’t feel safe or sanitary in any capacity.

    The pictures were very vague, I had to move from the original room because soon as I walked in I smelled mildew and urine. The whole room looked like it was under renovation and they just decided to stop. I requested to change rooms after going back and forth I was moved to another room that room was more suitable but the air decided on it’s on when it would come on and having seen a few unwanted guest crawling on the walls. The elevator has roaches crawling in the door way. None of the amenities were available. If I was able to get a refund I would have just took the loss. It’s like they know the place is horrible and that’s why they say no refunds after check-in. I will request to see the rooms now before check-in at any hotel moving forward.

    Room was dirty cockroach was crawling on the floor. Curtains were stained with something nasty I have pictures of both! We made a huge mistake taking the flash deal most definitely not worth it. No breakfast which was supposed to be included.

    The musty moldy smell was overwhelming, ignored it as just needed a place due to flight being changed. I could not tolerate finding Bed Bugs on the wall. Staff was nasty. Said needed to confirm with pest control before a refund.

    Parking looks fine. I got there. I got a room that they were working on. It was hot. The room was nasty stains everywhere. The second room they gave me was nasty stains. Everywhere I killed three roaches. I would expect a hotel next to The if not, one of the biggest airports to be better than this it was a horrible experience. I should get my money back to be honest. I will say this, though I don’t make the same mistake twice, so I will not be staying there in the future.

    Airport Shuttle Homeless people were sleeping in front of the entrance. I almost had to climb over them to get out of the hotel. "breakfast included" consisted of coffee and orange juice, emails were never answered, the check-in clerk was extremely unfriendly, and the bedding’s were stained.

    The hotel states that they have a 24 hour airport shuttle. I was told to call when our flight landed (which was at 12:15am). I had to call 3 times and let it ring until it automatically disconnected. The 4th time they answered and told me they would call the shuttle. I waited 20 minutes and no shuttle, called back and he had to radio driver and driver stated he was on the way. Another 20 minutes and still no shuttle. We had to call about 10 times and on the last call we were told " the driver had something to do". This was after waiting for over an hour for them. I called an Uber and they arrived within 1 minute. We then get to the hotel and my husband asked if they'd discount the room due to this happening and it now being almost 2:30am and check out is at 11am, to which he replied "no I can't do that". OK fine. We go up to the room to find the door not latched, we haven't even been in it yet. My husband just pushed on the door and it opened. We go in and attempt to shut the door and it doesn't latch so I tried to lock it and noticed that the lock and door pieces don't match up so this door cannot be shut and latched to even shut. We hall all of our luggage back downstairs to tell him and he didn't seem concerned at all! He puts us in another room and says its a bigger room. At this point I really didn't care how big the room was. We go up to the 2nd room now. Get in and its stiffling hot. Go to turn on the air and the panel on the unit was totally missing with only one small knob that looked like what you would see if you took the knob off of your stove. I turned it and the unit came on and thankfully it was the air conditioning and not heat. Couldn't tell the degree because there was nothing there with panel gone.

    Check-in friendly (different clerk) but took forever. Room absolutely depressing. Furniture shoddy, carpet worn, curtains/blinds torn and stained, missing baseboards. No nightstands or light of any kind in bedroom area. TV weird. Unclear what service they were using but no networks and impossible to select stations, just had to keep pushing channel-up-down. Given that was ALL there was to do during this layover I was annoyed. Bed was surprisingly comfortable (and I was REALLY worried about bedbugs but found none) and shower was actually decent. Given there were few amenities (soap, shampoo) and I was without most of my personal toiletries, I didn't linger. Airport shuttle back the next morning was terrific. On time, friendly driver, took me not just to my terminal but to the best entrance for my needs. Would not stay there again.

    The staff at the reception was incompetent, wasted our precious time by not giving us right directions for Pick and drop from and to the airport, ended up arranging Uber at our own expense. Breakfast was not even a breakfast, it was a coffee and a Nurtribar,,,,, it should not be listed as breakfast. The tap in the shower tub was not working at will and the handle was trying to falling off. It was a struggle to hold it and throw water on our body, mixture was bad,,,,,, water either could be cold or hot.

    Dirty with so much broken stuff inside the room and roaches and other moving insects in bathroom. Lot of work need to be fixed in the room. Bathroom sink leaking and need to keep the trash can below the sink. Did reported to Nathan who was at the front desk but never was attended. When reported to the morning shift person they didn't care about it though.

    There are cannabis addicts the hotel reeks of cannabis o have not seen hit breakfast there the condiments bar I don't believe gets cleaned in compliance if it were to be walked and scored it would fail the kitchen area inside were they store things fir breakfast and condiments needs to be compliance cleaned also and new furniture in the rooms tile carpet and working appliances room checks are not being conducted so who do they complain on when they actually do a room inspection the wrong person gets in trouble I have not but I do obey by the rules there but others have not when I ask then to inspect my room as many times as I have been there for work they have only inspected it once they usually do upgrade me when I complain but I should be upgraded even better then the upgrades they have been giving me

    We had to be at the airport by 1:30am and when we asked about the shuttle to the airport when we checked in we were told first shuttle was at 4:10am. Then when we were checking out found out that the shuttle did actually run 24/7.

    The staff was helpful and responsive getting the shuttle pick up from the airport and returning early in the morning . Good place to stay for an overnight and early morning departure from the airport. Shuttle arrived right on time at 4 AM. Only negative was there was no coffee in the lobby at that time.

    The hotel is not far from DFW Airport and was very convenient for unexpected stay. The staff was courteous and proffesional and I could easily book a room very late at night. If you have an overlay or flight cancelation this hotel is a very affordable option. Facilities need upgrades and TLC.

    This property was awful. Our flight arrived in the evening (8:30pm) arrived at hotel roughly 9:30 and we were greeted by a rude night staff that handed me the room key while promptly returning to the back room, like I was an inconvenience. Part of the reason we booked this hotel, was due to price and included breakfast. I know Super 8 is a cheap hotel. However, this was ridiculous. So staff interaction awful. Go to the room. The door will not lock. Staff doesnt care. Great. Thankfully, its not busy, so we try and go to sleep. Wake up. Mind you we were not told what time breakfast was or wifi password or any of the supposed accommodations.....wake up 7am. Go to the typical breakfast time. Ask for breakfast. We were handed 4 trail mix bars.....and they didnt have any coffee. This is false advertising. This stay was extremely frustrating and felt unsafe due to the door not locking. The lock was not aligned with the indent in the door....so. recommendation.....stay anywhere else.

    I liked that there was a free shuttle service to and from the airport. It was last minute for me with the airport chaos of late and I needed somewhere to stay that night and until I was able to sort out a new departure. The first room had a loud fridge and smelled. I immediately and politely asked for a different room and was given one no problem. The woman running the front that day was very helpful. Not responding to my messages and not honoring the refunding of one night of three I booked that they said at check in would not be a problem yet I have not heard or seen a credit from them.

    I prepaid for the room months in advance. The room I reserved was for 2 queen beds. When I checked in, the front desk informed me the only remaining room available was 1 king bed. My party of 3 was left with no choice but to take this room. Upon entering the room, we saw that it included a love seat/small sofa. I decided to take the sofa and let the other 2 share the bed. The love seat was not an adequate size for someone 6 foot to sleep on and made for a terrible, painful, and sleepless night. The room also did not include an extra blanket for use. I was told the bed was comfortable; however, it was probably the newest item in the room. The furniture was chipped and dated. The lamp shades were torn/cracked. One of the outlets was scorched and appeared to have had an electrical fire. There were spots/stains on the walls. The bathroom was roomy, but several of the floor tiles were chipped and coming up. The "free" breakfast included apple juice, orange juice, coffee, and a granola bar.

    For three days, pallets of toilet tissue were stacked to the side of entry door to the lobby. No one could bother to put them away in a storage area. Room maintenance was terrible with threadbare carpets in the room and halls. Refrigerator froze my food, air conditioning PTAC controls didn't work properly. Limited television viewing options and no instructions on how to work the unit. Desk light didn't work. Apparently, no one pays any attention to anything at this property. One would have thought the desk clerk upon check in was being asked to endure a colonoscopy, not check in a paying guest. Her sour demeanor and lack of any basic courtesy (A "hello" or "welcome" might have been appropriate after driving 500 miles.) but instead she simply said, "Can I see your I.D.?"

    Spot. I assured him i was in the right spot. I saw a roach by the elevator. There are no built in usb ports so if you forget a wall charger, you are out of luck. There is a 7/11 a mile down but guess what, no wall chargers. They advertise breakfast and usually there is a granola bar but they didn’t even have that today. Room furniture os scratched, Scuffed and stained and they don’t bother to Fix any water stains on the ceiling. Other than that, it’s a nice stay.

    When I first came in the lobby it was clean I did have to wait for my shuttle for over a hour they did not want to pick up my phone call to inform me that the shuttle could not pick up or drop off at terminal c I kept calling till they did and had to get to a terminal they could pick me up from then waited there for a while the second day the lobby was dirty and pallet on the floor that is still there after 3 days and they had cups people touched and filled still on the drink station and drink dispensers that is out of compliance and unclean sanitary to the guests cross contamination of germs their hands could of touched others or their own or both saliva trash body fluids and things people are allergic to they never came in my room to clean I never suggested for them not to they should of switched cleaned my towels looked to see if I needed sugar and beverage tea refills etc and the air conditioner dial was broke on the left side and the night stand had burn marks on it from someone's lighter or vapes etc I do not drink alcohol do not smoke anything is why I requested a non smoking room the elevator reeked of grass weed the third day I'm severely allergic to weeds it causes me to chronically throw up and puke for hours and makes me intensely nauseous where I can not hold up my head and usually have to stay the night and day with the the toilet to puke in and cuddle with the second day no breakfast but a granola trail mix was served no hit meal like states on the website when

    The staff were not very responsive. The rooms were old and dirty. I would not sit on the chairs and checked to make sure the sheets were clean because the top cover didn't look like it. The airport shuttle never showed up and the staff were less than helpful, just stated it was complimentary so there was nothing they could do about it.

    It was difficult at times at night to get employees at the front desk. There was never lotion available. You have to ask for the room to be cleaned everyday in order to receive that. I stayed there for four (4) nights. The only item of food that I received were granola bars. Everyone was nice. I love the fact that they have complimentary shuttles to and from the airport.

    Terrible. Walked in the room and walked out. Wet/damp/ musty carpet. Walls damaged like a fight occured, mudded but not sanded or painted. The main door was broken, appesred to have been kicked in, safety catch latch broken off as well. Gave a another room that we are found to be occupied, lights on. The shuttle driver was very nice and made sure everyone knew where to go and helped those who were lost. He also offered free water. The van though was falling apart and broken. Two seats were broken and all around the vehicle, including the roof there was wood paneling, instead of fabric or siding that belongs in a vehicle. It was construction wood. It was wood paneling you use in house construction before you put on the insulation. It was odd and seemed unsafe, but got me there. Front desk staff could have been friendlier, but functional. Changed my room quickly after the door issue.

    The shuttle took an hour and a half to arrive at the airport after I landed, and took an additional 20 minutes to finally get to hotel, as it also serves other hotels in the area at the same time. It was very difficult to contact the hotel via phone, oftentimes, there was no answer, which required multiple attempts. Finally, once I got to the room, it was very hot and had a weird smell, The AC unit was falling apart and the adjustment knobs were broken, which resulted in the AC not being able to be set to different modes or temperature adjustment. I would not recommend staying here, when there are several other options in the immediate area.

We had to ask 3 times to get juice, they said they turn dispenser on but never did. Scheduled the night before for airport shuttle. Out to meet the shuttle 20 minutes before schedule. Shuttle stopped by and said they were full and went on. Left 8 people frantic at the curb. Right after some sketchy cab came by and asked for an inflated price to get everyone to the airport on time

    The room door was previously broken into and many dents on the door. Lock was also broken. Walls had holes and broken all over. Sheets and pillow cases felt very used despite being washed.     We arrived late, and had to leave early. First, they gave us a room that was used. We paid for a king bed. Then, we were given another room (double queen bed). We decided to stay on that one because we needed to get some sleep. I went to get water in the car and noticed the door wouldn’t close and it didn’t have the security lock above to keep it closed. It stayed closed with the lock only but still.. felt a little insecure but decided to stay there because we needed to sleep. It was not the cleanest but it was ok enough to sleep for a little.     Terrible experience: Smelly hallways, stuffy room and the air coming out of the fan smelled terrible, lack of ventilation. Found toe nails on desk and disgustingly stained chair. Had to leave within ten minutes of checking in. Student dorms would have been much cleaner!!

    Staffs were good. Room was poor, musky smells. Bathroom was substandard, no exhaust fan, therefore paint was lifted, some areas were molded. Toilet was unsecured (making noises), sink was burnt by cigarette. Floor was patched with many tiles. Area behind the door was very bad. TV was useless.

    Let’s first start with them smell of the room. I pin entering the room a very disturbing aroma filled the room. The shower had mold heavy mold all over the ceiling. I attempted to get my room changed they said I have to wait till 12pm, but I wasn’t able to stay around. Then they claimed to have cleaned the mold that should have been treated before I was able to enter the room. To top it off there were bugs crawling abound the drink station.

    I called in the morning to confirm arrangements for an airport shuttle. Was told to call the same number once I arrived at DFW. At 8pm after landing I called 8 times over the span of 30 minutes. Nobody ever answered. I finally gave up and was forced to take a cab which charged me $27 for a 9 minute ride. The driver actually wanted to charge me $35 dollars even though the transportation concierge confirmed it would be the minimum fare ($27)… the driver then proceeded to scream and rant and verbally abuse me for the entire ride to the hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel, very shaken and frustrated, I explained to the woman doing check ins what had happened she simply responded “yeah, everyone’s been calling lots” and when asked what was going to be done to rectify the situation replied “there’s nothing we can do”. How about compensate for the wasted nearly $30 because you and your establishment did not provide the services you claimed you would? “Breakfast” consists of Luke warm pots of coffee and water for tea, a box of granola bars half dumped on the counter, and two broken juice jugs that I didn’t even try as there was a dirty room towel they have shoved underneath for who knows how long to catch the drips and spills. Enjoy your stay, right?

    As for the condition of the room, it smelled mildew and moldy. I couldn’t stand. The smell also had roaches. The staff member helped me find a more suitable room for me and my daughter, which was a downgrade from a two bedroom queen to a one room king.. Which we did not get reimbursed for once we were ready to wind down and take a shower. There was no hot water we even had it running for over 20 minutes to see if the water would come on.. very disappointing. This is my first time at super 8 and I will not be back.. The staff was polite and young.

    This is one of the shabbiest hotels I've ever stayed in. Torn lampshades. Holes in the walls. Blackout curtains that looked like Swiss cheese. Television that did not work- they switched my room to one with a working television, but aside from that, the room was just as dilapidated. The young woman working at the front desk basically got the job done, but there was no courteous "hello," "thank you," or "sorry about that" when she had to change my room and then forgot to bring me a new room key as she said she would. At least it was pretty cheap and I did not feel unsafe. Got a good night's rest so was grateful for that.

    It was a short but sweet stay in Super 8. As they say, you get what you pay for. It has the basic ameneties for a layover stay, conveniently located near DFW, has a free shuttle service and a quaint breakfast option. A plus since it serves coffee, tea and juice 24/7. The staff service is excellent and ready to answer your questions. I give it a 7/10 for your money value.

    I had a great experience! The ladies in the check in counter was super sweet. The room was pretty nice. Needs to be updated, but the bathroom was clean, bed/sheets were comfy and clean. It was quiet, I didn't find it unsafe, or anything sketchy. I mean, for $60, you can't beat it. The transportation was good-ish. The van that took me to the airport was a horrible driver. Almost crashed into a car where the car behind us had to swerve into another lane because he cut him off. He was distracted, calls on his phone, radio, and messing with things in the front seat. However, they had other drivers like the one that brought me from the airport to the motel. He was a pretty good driver. Over all, I found it a great place to stay if you have a layover, or just visiting this part of Dallas. I will stay here again.

    The good was the room was clean; appeared it someone took time to make sure everything was tidy. The room was spacious and quiet and comfortable. The next morning I asked if the shuttle to DFW was available and was told it was at 7:30 am, and while in the lobby, I grabbed some “to go breakfast” which consisted of coffee or juice. I then checked out and waited for the shuttle, which the driver was nice and helped me with my bags. The shuttle was clean and comfortable and took me to DFW airport.

    I am what you call a road warrior. I live on the road and have for 25 years. I have never been in such a disgusting hotel in my entire career. Stains on the floor, cigarette burns on the bathroom sink and the window shades. Had to go to the front desk every day to have my keys redone. I moved out and went to a different hotel using my Marriott app. As soon as I checked in, I immediately took a shower. It was so gross!

    There is no breakfast as advertised, its the worst coffe ive ever had and some juice options. There was a tub but no plug so i couldnt take a bath. I had to call multiple times to request a shuttle, and they made me call from the pick-up spot before they would request it so i then had to wait outside for 40 minutes before the airport shuttle arrived. The front desk staff was never at the front desk, there was also no bell just a camera so they would come when stood there for long enough. Then the morning shuttle driver didnt come inside to get us when they arrived despite putting our room number on the list i had to wait almost 40 minutes for the next shuttle and almost missed my flight. From start to finish one of the worst motel experiences ive had.

    I have COPD-I travel with oxygen. At this Super 8, I had a bad experience. They tried to say my oxygen was causing the fire alarm to go off. I never heard a alarm. This was at 4 a.m. Saturday morning. Then they insisted on looking in my room. My grandchild was sleep. I go back to bed. At 7:05 a.m. they called to change my room to a handicap room. I have never had to use a handicap because of my oxygen. I went from 3rd floor to 1st. The room they moved me to was not good.They never offered me help moving.There was damaged furniture, crack floor, dust on furniture, water standing in shower. Personally, an inspection need to be done on that location to shut them down or take them off of Expedia reservations.I really would like my money back. I didn't get into refund with them because to moving to another motel would have been exhausting for me. My conclusion, everything cheap ain't good. I will never stay stay there or suggest that location.

    Pros--convenient location, clean rooms, friendly staff, airport shuttle, decent water pressure Cons--some damage to the room like the door, someone propped all the outside doors open with rocks which left some safety concerns and when we would move them they would be replaced (not sure if front desk knew about this) and the hall smelled like fruity urine--kind of like urine and body odor that someone tried to clean but it only partially masked the scent instead of eliminating it. Also, the front door was a little hard to find. The lobby is under the little awning but it isn't clearly marked.

    Empathy and maybe more training is needed at this hotel. LA wallet is an acceptable form of ID that’s even accepted at the airport by TSA.

    The room look like a crime scene that had been corrected with plaster all over the walls. The door lock that flips didn’t work. The bedding was moist. Someone pulled the night stand away from the wall by a foot … of course very nasty stuff exposed. It was a challenge to change rooms. There wasn’t much effort to be accommodating until I pushed the issue. By the time they did, I was ready to leave early.

    Check in staff was friendly enough, but things went downhill shortly afterwards. My initial room keycard didn't work, so I had to return to the front desk to have it re-keyed. When I finally got into the room I realized the door was not squarely mounted to the doorframe and that the deadbolt could not actually lock. The room furniture was very worn and the bedspread had a mysterious stain on it. The "breakfast included" consisted of one flavor of granola bar and coffee or tea. I signed up for the 6:50 am airport shuttle the night before and was in the lobby as requested by 6:40. The shuttle driver was over 10 minutes late, unapologetic and made a stop at another hotel before dropping me off at the airport. Thankfully, I didn't have to check any luggage.

    The entire property smelled horrible. The room had a putrid odor of a mix of mold and urine. Went to open the dilapidated armoire to get to the fridge and the handle came off in my hand. The paint was peeling off the walls. Holes in the walls. Story stained and gross with holes in it and bleach stained carpets in the hallway. The front desk lady was very nice.

    This hotel is very convenient to DFW. The beds were wonderful after a day of traveling! However, this hotel didn't mention that breakfast consists of a granola bar handed to you over the check in counter. Also, with the airport four miles away you would think the shuttle would be quick. You would not anticipate being given an hour timeframe-one way!
