Studio 6 Ingleside, TX

Property is dated, smells musty from the humidity, mosquitoes are vicious.

Just needed a place to crash for the night and this place did the trick for a good value. The room could use a better curtain to fully block the morning sun. It covers the window, but sunlight comes in from all sides.

Clean room

The shower and shower chair in the disabled shower were very slippery that I fell on to the shower floor. A shower mat or grip would be a good safety precaution

The beds in the room were so hard and uncomfortable. My back has been sore since we left it. We’ve stayed there plenty of times in different rooms but the beds in room 117 really need to be replaced.

Nothing. Originally booked from the 7th to the 9th. However, I only stayed for one day. I was told I should expect a refund for the remainder of the original price, However, I still have not received my refund.

The location was great. The room was nice/clean however, it was a very nosey hotel. I was on night-shift for a construction site and it was difficult to sleep during the day with the cleaners and other families/children on multiple occasions.

Everything was super clean and the staff were excellent. The kitchenette in the room was easy to use and the refrigerator was the perfect size..

The room was great for a studio 6, and the staff was really nice. It was a great deal for the 2 weeks we needed and we would gladly come back.

Drive way to enter property is not marked or lit up and there was a police officer blocking the entrance so it was hard to see

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a terrible experience. The room was unclean, with a dirty bed comforter. The bathroom had a leak, which was quite disturbing. The overall ambiance was unpleasant, with laborers staying there and no room service available. To make matters worse, there was an old, dilapidated school bus parked outside, which added to the hotel's unappealing atmosphere. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

The area was super nice, and it was convenient stay for us the beach wasn’t too far away!! That there was always a bunch of (men) standing in the lobby watching you come in and out morning, lunch, and evening/night. And they weren’t even checking in just sitting and watching like 6-7 men standing or sitting watch my family and I come and go. It was uncomfortable but other than that it was great and we slept good!!

The hotel didnt have shampoo and the room smelled musty.

Conveniently located, full size fridge, kitchen with cooktop and sink is nice. Some outlets were not working. Construction companies put up their crews at hotel and they drank blasted music right outside our window all night but that isn’t on the hotel itself just a reflection of who is staying there.

Booked a 7 night stay at what was supposed to be a decent hotel. Moldy shower, cheap bed, terrible smell coming through the door gap from the 3rd floor hallway (could hardly fall asleep because of the smell). Said door gap was so large I could see the carpet of the hallway from inside my room through the crack of the door and casing. Terrible value, checked out after 1 night, stayed in corpus 15 minutes away for half the the price and a much much nicer and larger room.

The TV was with lines like if someone hit it. I told the receptionist up front but she said ok then next Day we had a letter if we wanted to trade rooms but it was already ten o'clock at night so it was just to sleep and leave. We rented for 2 night couldn't enjoy the the tv.

We stayed 2 nights everything overall was good. Only thing is that i didn’t like is when they came to clean our room on the second night they didn’t change the sheets, they just made the bed.

We've used this location several times throughout the years because my wife has family in the area without any issues. This time was different though. Not sure if management has changed but this place is going downhill. We had a room on the second floor and when steppped off the elevator we could smell a strong odor. It smelt of something with strong spices. May have been curry. We sprayed the room and then had to hurry and change to get to a viewing and rosary. Upon our return, the smell hadn't gone away so i approached the front desk and explained the situation and asked for another room. I was told there was none at first but after pleading some Heather at the front desk said she actually did have one left and offered it to me. The a/c wasnt very cold but it didnt smell but i took it. A Cockroach scattered when we entered. Mold and peeling paint on the walls and pipes creeked with the water running. This is definitely the last time i use this location. Only my first bad experience here but it has changed noticeably since the last time here and i wouldnt chance it again. Try something else yall. Plenty of other options in the area. Heather working the desk overnight was the only positive in this story. Everything was good!!

The staff at this Studio 6 were friendly and accommodating. I booked a queen room, however, when I checked in I realized that the room they assigned me was directly in front of the elevator. I was concerned about hearing the elevator door opening and closing during the night so I immediately asked for another room. They had no queens but they did have a double full bed room. The clerk was not at all bothered by the request and we appreciated her understanding. Despite my husband’s legs hanging over the edge of the bed, we slept well enough. While we were not blown away by the aesthetic of the room it was clean! And I especially liked that the floor was not carpeted. Hotel carpets are absolutely disgusting! The walls at this Studio 6 are extremely thin, you could hear everything going on around you very clearly, and there are no pictures on the walls. They are all bare. No color in the rooms. The last thing I will critique is the room temperature. The thermostat was set at 61 when we arrived and we thought that was cold. We set it to 63 so that it would stop running continuously and it got a little warm in the room. We had to keep it at 61 to keep it comfortable, but this hotel seems to be older despite the seemingly new floors and paint. The AC system needs some attention for sure. If all you care about is hotel cleanliness this hotel is priced very reasonably for the area and you’re going to get friendly service.

The quality of the rooms are cheap , staff is super nice.

Front desk staff was very friendly and check in was efficient and quick. Room was clean, minus several dead rolly pollys near the door. Pillows are kind of flat and would have been nice to have a couple more. Interesting that a unit with a kitchenette doesn’t have any cookware or even any silverware. Good to know for others staying here and for future stays. Easy one night stay. Will stay again!

Ouite safe very clean and great House keeping

Overall this was a clean and nice place. We did have two issues. The pillows are the thinnest I have ever seen. Virtually useless! We paid for a room with a small kitchen, which the room did have. Two burner stove, frig, and microwave but not as much as a fork! No pots, no pans, nothing. Just be aware to bring everything if you want to use the kitchenette!

Heather the night employee was awesome she went out of her way to make sure everything was to my satisfaction also helped me to bring my belongings to my room. I really enjoyed my stay

Room was ok. Didn’t feel like price matched quality or area. Room wasn’t as clean as expected. Pool was nice but by 930 kids had to get out. On site bbq pots were convenient. Parking not too good if you have boat or trailer.

i booked that spot for sunday the 28th got there around 10 pm and there was an old lady as front desk ever since i got there shes been very disrespectful, she told my kids to shut up and she even touched me when she shouldn’t have . she was just being so disrespectful and for that i rate this place 1 star service . you suppose to be there for youre guest not against.

Loud music from many rooms throughout the day and night. Sub par housekeeping. I have stayed here many times in the past without incident, but this stay was definitely not worth the price paid.

The sheets looked a little dirty and messed up. The microwave did not work at all. The shower only had two holes working which was not really pouring out. We had to go down stairs to keep warming up our food because we were not able to use the microwave in our room

Stay was good. Room was spacious. Only issue was the washer did not drain all the water out. Had to wring our clothes out. Dryer did not dry our clothes. Tried twice and clothes were still soaking wet. Had to rewatch and dry when we got home.

Basic suite with fridge freezer, microwave, 2 burner stove top. Only semi complaint I have is no comfy chair in the room. Need to use the bed for extended inactivity.

Very basic; too expensive for what you get; no place to park during check-in; room was bare with no art on the walls, etc.; no breakfast; no cot to borrow; bath towels too small. Would not recommend. We will be staying at the Best Western across the street next time.

I like to have a kitchen if I'm staying for more than a couple of days. Full size fridge with freezer small microwave and a two burner stove top. Utensils and flatware not in room but held by hotel and available on request. I did not need anything last trip so cannot comment on that. My room was clean, if a bit spartan. There are a number of 1/2 decent restaurants nearby. I'll be using this hotel again

One of the better studio 6 / motel 6 that we have stayed at both inside and outside. We use studio 6 quite a bit as pet owners. Parking lot clean and a nice well lit area of grass for pets to relieve themselves. I only wish some pet owners knew how to clean up after their pets. Not the staffs fault though.

Next hotel I stayed at was pet friendly as well, closer to the water, cleaner, more amenities, less expensive, amazing manager and was a great stay! VERY POOR run establishment!

We booked at the last minute because our Brbo fell thru. We were looking to stay at a pet friendly hotel and were not disappointed. It was clean and front desk was very friendly and helpful. Definitely come back to stay.

The room itself was clean and updated, but the entire building smelt of mold! It would hit you as soon as you walk into the hallways. I had to hold my breath all the way to my room and spray the room with air freshener. The smell does not go away and let me say I have messed up smell so that sais a lot! My children had headaches luckily we only needed the room to sleep in and would be gone all day. Do not recommend for anyone with allergies or sensitivities to smell! If it wasn’t for that I would have loved to stay here again.

The rooms were very quiet. The bed was a little hard, but that was only issue.

The manager was nice. The facility was notably warmer than anticipated. The night before checkout our A/C stopped working and I can only think that it is because everyone was trying to cool off. Other than that, it was a decent stay and if we were to come back we definitely consider it.

The hotel was terrible all around. The air smelt like it was full of mold which made it very hard to breathe and the rooms are so dark and bare. The air is located so far away from the beds so it gets very hot. They only provide two pillows and they are very flat. I cant say anything nice about the place other than the staff were nice.

I got a mold major allergic reaction. Still suffering till today. Hive and itchiness are all over the body. The place smelled of mildew. We woke found all our stuff are wet due to high humidity and the poor room ventilation. The environment is so unhealthy and you ended up with a secondary health condition to be treated. This is absolutely not safe for people with autoimmunity and/or the place caused severe allergic reaction. Plus, we got a non-smoker room whilst the room was filled of cigarettes vapor and the whole pass-way areas too. So disappointing and I have to deal with an expensive health bill resulted from the allergic reaction to this poor-unhealthy environment.

Our stay was quick and last minute, but this location was clean and easy to get to. It is an extended stay so many of the patrons have been there for work. The room was clean and staff was friendly. Nothing fancy, but it fit our needs.

I really enjoy beeing there all tve staff was polite and very helpful. The building was very very clean and always smell good. My dog was very happy they have a play dog yard. The kids enjoyed the pool always clean abs neat . I highly recommend thus hotel. And the town is very beautiful and have everything you need close.

Weather was good, it was just for one night stay so mom can get ready for the hospital for a procudure she had in the morning. Room was clean and had lots of space. WIsh we were able to enjoy more of the kitchen but was able to use the fridge for some drinks and food. Thank you! :)

Enjoyed our stay and the lady at the front desk on night shift was fantastic! Wish I would have gotten her name. The only negative was our stove top did not work.

My room was a good size for a family of 4. I did not know I'd have a kitchenette. It would've been nice to know before hand, it would've saved me some money with dinning out. The laundry machines work great. Its $2 a wash and $2 a dry. The pool is not available due to COVID. Definitely a room to get if you dont plan to stay inside too often.
