Had a great stay the staff was nice and the pool was amazing will definitely be back

The rooms were nasty, smelled of mildew the second you walked in and front desk won’t answer when third party called to have a refund issued

Nothing this hotel need to Shut Down

The access points to surrounding beach cities. Friendly workers. The mini fridge smelled like fish. The drawers in the small dressers smelled weird. There was used toilet paper rolls out rather than new ones in both rooms.

Room was dirty bed was full of stains and the WiFi didn’t even work and smelled really bad

Cleaning staff did a good job with what they had to work with. Rooms and grounds are run down. Weeds in parking lot concrete, landscaping not maintained. Holes in walls, paint in poor condition, bathroom countertops broken, cracked, queen beds not matching in height (minor). Room carpet in dire need of deep cleaning or replacement. Online photos of property is misleading.

No elevator

The office when we checked in smelt like weed. Really bad! Room was ok for the price but needs some work. The AC unit was loud and the curtains didn't close all the way so we had parking lot light shining in our eyes all night. The lady at the counter in the morning was very nice. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel itself is a bit run down, but I was pretty satisfied with our stay, the room was clean, staff were nice and friendly, housekeeper Dawn was a sweet heart helped us with extra linen and towels, breakfast was on point, the hotel is not far from HEB and other surrounding fast food places.

friendly staff, beds were comfy and room was remodeled. When you first drive up the place looks old and questionable then you go into the office and it was remodeled and the rooms smelt and looked clean. They seem to be slowly remodeling. bathroom needed some remodeling or fixing up. Needed more mirrors and the wifi/tv channels was slow. I wish there were waffles at breakfast. The pictures online show a waffle maker... Hopefully they bring that back soon.

Room was incredibly cheap made, beds were rock solid nothing comfy about em, the electricity failed on every outlet but the tv and 1 lamp. Bathroom was smelly, the room ac was poorly functioning, and the hotel would charge for ANY use of soaps in the room. Never staying there again!

Staff , the front lady has a terrible attitude. She also said that we can leave and rent in another place.

The room was good, the breakfast was good and the service was quick and easy no problems. An alright room for a cheap price.

Breakfast was ok, exact same next day, no variety. Room was clean but rundown. Door had daylight coming through, hair dryer didn't work. Bed was clean but uncomfortable and hurt my back. I had to sleep on a pillow for comfort.

Front desk clerk was super sweet and accommodating and allowed me to check in early due to it being slow because beginning of the week the manager was understanding and helpful. They have a light breakfast which wasn’t bad and easy to get around gas station next door amazing as well and the chicken is better than a lot of restaurants! I was able to check in quick and not bothered at all. The only thing is the room was not clean and worn down but it’s the least of my concerns at that moment. Thank y'all

The shower handle was broken and leaked the entire trip

The pool was very clean. The staff was amazing and courteous to our needs. The carpet could use better cleaning and the beds were hard.

I was pleasantly surprised that the motel was clean, comfy, and had a good breakfast.

In all hey it’s a 20min drive to port aransas. Rooms are a bit run down but decent price and decent free breakfast.

Staff workers are very friendly, pool stayed unlocked most the might Rooms where nasty. Walls needed to be wiped down, floors needed to be clean, just needed a good deep clean!

Upon checking in the guy at the front desk was not very friendly. Our room has an odor and the wall plug was falling out of the wall. Will not be using this place again

The staff was exceptionally friendly The floors had not been mopped. After a swim in the pool we got the floor wet. Dried the floor with towels and they were black when done. The toilet was very loud.

Thinking the room with the no carpet would Be cleaner but my children were barefoot only 5-10 minutes and their feet were so black! It was beyond gross. The walls are dirty, dripping gunk. The baseboards are Terrible. The bathroom had no working vent. The toilet makes the loudest screeching noise when you flush. Gross

Price is great if staying upstairs. I didn’t have any problems but it really didn’t seem too safe . Privacy needs help. And the entire building would not pass inspection. I didn’t take photos but it needs help. Bugs in pool.

The staff is awesome. The location is ok and place was great for the price. The breakfast is great, they have the usual breakfast. The place is no fancy but is a comfy place where you can bring your family for a small scape and don't spend too much money.

It would of been nice to relax in the evening watching a bit of TV but apparent it's satellite and reception was awful. They did have Wi-Fi again reception was sad. Ice bucket in room but no ice machine on property. Could use some updates to the place.

Hard to park on such small spaces.

Very clean. The noise from people talking outside the room was horrible. Traffic sounded like it was in our room. Put double paned soundproof glass in the windows. sound proof doors. We moved to another motel due to the noisw.

Last minute reservations. The room was ok it is a little out dated and the sleeper sofa was broke and had no sheets. Other then that it was a nice a quite stay. Definitely would stay again for the weekend.

The bed was comfy. The breakfast was good..has cheese omelettes, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, sm boxes of cereal, muffins and yogurt and bottled orange and apple juice. The rooms need some updating though. The staircase is dirty looking. The staff were nice!

Never got my deposit back

This hotel is better than the bigger brand properties in my opinion. staff is great and the towels are new and fluffy. Not paper-thin as you find at times at a 2 star hotel.

Late night decision to stay here but it was a good choice. Night manager may scare some folks with her appearance but its the times. Day manager was great and explained the holds for deposits clearly. Excellent eggs for breakfast.

For the amount that they charge per day, I would say it’s a little excessive whenour room had a roach in the sink, the sleeper sofa that we had in our room, looked old and outdated, and and was super stained and dirty, but I will say the staff was super nice and helpful

Only thing is you don't have a washer and dryer to Wash clothes. Other than that everything else was good

Very friendly front staff who make you feel like you are "home." Good location, close to the ferry to get to the beach.

The staff was very friendly. But we had to cancel our reservation due to the ceiling in our bathroom was coved in water and mold. They gave us a 100 percent refund.

The hotel was efficient for what our travel arrangements required. it was 15 min from the ferry to Port A . there was plenty of grocery, food, fuel, and retail stores nearby . the staff was very friendly . the breakfast offered had good variety and flavor . me and my family were overall pleased . I will say that room had a wet smell to it . 1 of the lamps didn't work and the restroom vent didn't not work which probably causes the smell .

The room was a nice size. I liked the mini fridge. Breakfast was good. It is not a new hotel, but a great value. Definitely could use a blanket in the room. I would stay here again. Also, they actually clean the room daily.

Absolutely awful hotel stay, ruined our entire vacation. Most staff was very rude, the area is very sketchy, hotel room was absolutely filthy, bedbugs, roaches, mold, etc. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We ended up leaving from our vacation 3 days early and still have not received a deposit or refund for the nights we did not stay.

The bathroom was dirty and some furniture was rotting but the beds were comfy and the hotel was in a convenient location

The hotel had no hot water all weekend. There was no milk for breakfast on Monday morning.

They had no hot water. when we notified her she did not believe me. She went to the room and ran the tub water for about fifteen minutes. she was very rude. She came back and told me that they would give me a discount. when we ask her for her name the other half responded that if we did not like it there, we could leave, They would return our money. will see how that works out.

I loved their breakfast for sure many options and the pool is really nice and quiet.

Minimal older hotel. Lighting poor inside. Musty smelling. Awkward sink set too far back. No tissues. No extra toilet tissue. No coffeemaker or tea. Charged a $100 extra deposit for damage because mostly oilfield and refinery workers stay there.

Great place to stay for work

I like the staff alot at this hotel, but it drives me crazy they bang on the door at 0830am to clean the room. I had no privacy tag. Room was fine but I requested a 1st floor room because of bad knees. They told me no long rooms on 1st floor, and there was a few to adjust reservations. They did put me right by stairs so that helped some. I like the location of this this Oyo and will stay here whenever I am in town.

Really impressed with this hotel. Came in for wedding and fishing weekend. Super fast and friendly check in. Rooms were clean. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent. Way better than the muffins and waffles of most continental breakfasts. Eggs, bacon sausage, juices, coffee and cereals. Highly recommend!

My stay was uneventful… hotel is old and needs upkeep

This hotel is definitely not maintained. First, just walking up to the room door, it was covered with dirt and grime. Got inside the room and it was disgusting. There was dirt in the tub, mold all around the tub, every metal fixture in the room had rust spots, the sheets didn't fit the beds, and there was grime built up on the floor. It wasn't just our room, my brother in law had the room next to us. It was equally disgusting. We both cut our losses and found a different hotel. Just GROSS!

Pretty much u get what you poor for. Staff was very friendly. Restrooms need some work but other than that it was pleasant.

They charge a 100$ deposit fee (not mentioned until check in. And charge a LATE check out fee of $25 if you aren't OUT of the room by 11. Which was also not mentioned.

The bathroom, specifically the shower area, needed work. Tub drained very slow, hard to shower when the water is backing up in the tub. The exhaust fan did not work. Couldn't find a USB connection. Telephone did not work. Overall a decent 1 night stay, i don't know about more than 1 night.

Ac wasn’t working in 100 degree weather when talk to staff all they said was sorry it didn’t work

Had the option to pay at the property or pay now. Choose to pay at the property and the money came out of my acct 4 days before we got there.

Hotel was farther away from where we spent most of our time on vacation. Our son slept on the pull out bed from the bed, & was eatin up by bed bugs.😪

Horrible place-mold I’m bathroom. Couch look gross and hadn’t been cleaned. Bathroom light flicker on and off. Housekeeping needs banging on my door even though I was stay over at random times without me asking! Disrespectful! Check out at 10:40 was upstairs-gathering stuff from room. Ho and down the stairs. Red headed lady with glasses tells me I have to be off the premises and that I was gonna be charged an additional $25 cause I hadn’t drove off the premises and still was in parking lot! Horrible!! Will not return!

Really loved the cleanliness of the pool! Great place to stay at a great price.
