    There was a few things wrong like the remote not working for the tv( not a big deal), there was no cold water coming out of the sink in the restroom, the swimming pool was closed and we had roaches in our room. My cousin had her own room and her tv remote wasn’t working either, she was told by the front desk to use her phone to watch tv lol. Definitely not staying there again.

    It was wonderful, except hmmm….a little surprising to find so many strange small bugs lurking on floors and walls in my room. And the rug near the nice table was a bit sticky from a previous guest’s mess. But I stayed committed & didn’t leave, instead I enjoyed my stay!

    The gentlemen that helped me was so nice, very helpful, however the next day the Hispanic lady in the front desk was so short and rude. You could tell she thinks she owns the hotel and looked very unhappy to be there. Very poor customer service skills, She needs someone to train her on how you are suppose to talk to paying customers. I paid to be there it was not free the least I expect is courteous customer service. Disappointing.

    I liked the price for a 1 night stay. The sheets and pillows were soft. There were homeless people and questionable looking guests hanging around outside and/or in the lobby area. Checking in was great, however, once I made it inside of my room I had to kill 3 roaches, the fridge did not work, the toilet seat had burn marks on it, & the room had a stench of stale smoke. Also, the covers are very thin like a sheet. Hardly provided much warmth in the bed.

    This is my 3rd time in a row that ive booked here cuz i do like it but ive noticed Roaches. Also my watch had fell by one of the furniture i moved it to get it and there was trash I mean the cleaning ladies can do better other than that it was good.. One last thing i liked that they did the House keeping but it was done w/o us knowing until afterwards just please be considerate to next time just ask us if we want it or Not.

    I booked a room elsewhere and it wasn’t available until the next day so i called the closest place with availability. However upon turning the light on, about 3 ROACHES jumped off the bed and ran under the bed. As I gathered my thoughts from already being extremely exhausted I decided to pee b4 I head to the front desk. And this next grandpa roach ran straight towards me! I almost didn’t make it out alive… Im traumatized meanwhile ;itchy scratchy describes My nerves. Paranoid thinking about if I would have taken my contacts off and laid down. Go ahead and add them to Baymont and Red Roof. It would behoove then ro Tear that infestation down and start over! Comfort suites refunded me immediately however EXPEDIA IS STILL DECIDING IF I SHOULD BE ENTITLED TO THE REFUND. The agent told me it was doubtful I would be granted a refund but would follow up in 72 hrs. This isnt an unreasonable courtesy . Are we really negotiating a common courtesy for filthy sleepying conditions)? It should be a standard. Roaches are never ok at any establishment!

    Broken recline chair (should be in the trash so bad), did they find it in the trash ? Roaches everywhere. All furniture is old and party broken. Carpet is sticky. This place needs an overhaul. Definitely not a place that you want to stay. Management or Owner does NOT care about customers and is trying to earn all they can without doing any updates and cure health issues.

    ROACH CITY - They moved us "3" times (3 different rooms, different floor) but each time - so many roaches. So we left after 4 hours. DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed here just a few weeks ago and left after 1 day and was advised it was taken care of and all was ok. So I put some friends of mine in there for a 3 day stay and it was WORSE. ROACH CITY - I was embarrassed I recommended it for my friends and personally moved them to a much better hotel - apologizing constantly for trusting this manager. Even opened the refrigerator and 5 roaches around and in the refrigerator DO NOT STAY HERE.

    I wish I could give zero stars but I know a least one is required to post a review. I experienced one of most horrible experiences checking in today. Actually, although I had a reservation and had till 12 midnight to check-in, upon arrival, I'm being told by the night clerk that my reservation was canceled several hours before arrival with no explanation other than "You can be mad at me or curse me out, but it's nothing I can do" What type of response is that? I had been awake 24hrs straight and really needed this room to rest up! I've stayed in dive hotels before, but the service I recieved on My 24, 2025, is by far the worst!

    $50 damage deposit to be returned at checkou...so I submitted cash to be returned to me the second day. A credit card deposit would take 10 days to happen...and sometimes a mistake is made and no refund is given...so paying a cash deposit is safer.

    The room's smoke detector had a low battery so it was chirping loudly as soon as we walked in. Before we even set our bags down, we saw roaches crawling around. We went down to the front desk and the night clerk admitted they had been having problems with bugs and "someone had been out earlier that day..." my skin is still crawling thinking about it. We left immediately and went to a different hotel.

    I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Houston. Front desk was not very friendly and was extremely slow and difficult to get ahold of. Upon arrival and turning on the heater we noticed there was leftover food in the vents from the previous tenants and room began to smell like French fries. The toilet bowl was dirty, shower was yellow, and we found multiple roaches in the room. There were also small flying bugs similar to the size of gnats we kept having to swat. Hotel policy was that stained towels would come out of our pockets yet we received thinning towels with holes and didn’t seem very clean. I was scared to step anywhere without shoes. Definitely was a waste of money and didn’t want to return to my room during my trip

    No elevator, was told it’s been out for over 2 yrs. That’s unacceptable. Had to climbed stairs with luggage. When asked for a first floor was told they only have 1but windows was boarded up because someone tried to break in. Breakfast was a joke.. Ask to speak with manager was told they are not in country. If I could give 0 stars I would. Front desk clerk say I couldn’t get my money back.Really believe I should get my money back.

    The staff was horrible. I booed this room over a month ago. The attendant said my name Spanish name MARIA did not coincide with my credit card MARY. The last name is the same. All my cards are under Mary. The signature on my drivers license is Mary. Then my husband asked to charge it on his credit card and the ignorant attendant said no because he had not booked a reservation. WE crossed the street and with no RESERVATION stayed at the RED ROOF INN.

    1st room, had ceiling was water damaged reminded me of my condo, but this was over the bed. Second to Fifth rooms had roaches in them. Sixth room had water damage but not over bed. I was tired, hungry and wanted to rest so I stayed. Second day I was having issues with internet I called the front desk no answer. I finally went downstairs the lady there was rude with horrible customer service. When I asked about the phone she was like it didn’t ring. I called right there the phone didn’t ring, the ringer was turned all the way down. I called the number about the customer internet service and I got service but it went back down. I just went to sleep. I expected better customer service and better accommodations. I was disappointed. I basically just slept due to the tv service was down most of the day as well. One good thing the bed was comfortable.

    I always check places for bedbugs under the mattresses and furniture. No BBs but there were dead roaches under the bed and then a live one crawled up the wall. I told the desk and the person working was very curt with me about my complaint even though I approached respectfully. They moved me to a room on a diffrerent floor which was all around better but once again had a dead roach under the mattress. If I hadn't used OneKeyCash to pay for this I would've been much more upset. Behind the building is an empty lot where there were folks screaming and toss beer bottles.

    The manager Paula was awful. Stole our $50 cash deposit and kicked me and my husband out. I have a small service animal and they kicked us out due to a small dog, ada registered.     Hotel was dirty, with horribly stained carpet, and smelled like mildew. People at the front desk were nice. All my impressions are from just walking in. Area around the hotel was very run down and not maintained. Reflected what the inside looked like. It hasn't been updated since 2000 probably. *Context* I tried to stay during the effects of hurricane Beryl, personally double booking should NEVER happen. Its not okay when airports do it. its not oaky if hotels do it.

    I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you plan on just spending one night ONLY or you're just desperate for a roof over your head and don’t really care for talking to an unprofessional staff.

    I liked the staff and service. I got to the hotel very late at night and it was quick and easy to check in. Property was not well maintained though. Sink had water standing when used and tap was rusty and old. No hot water in the morning for shower. Wasn’t fixed for until I checked out. I am glad I was there for only one night.

    Pictures shown on the website is NOT what you will be staying in. I ignored previous reviews trying to save money...I will NEVER do that again. If you care about moldy smells, dirty bathrooms, and stained carpets (just to name a few) do not stay here.

    The staff was rude and didn’t care about nothing we was there 2 night room service didn’t even come give us clean towels the elevato Was broke so we had to walk up 4flights of stairs the stairs smelled like frees urine everyday we was there the free break I wouldn’t feed a homeless person from there the cleanliness is a 2/10 I regret paying my money I only stayed because my money was spent it was a very special occasion for me and my partner but I was very upset and not satisfy all

    Did not like the fact that the elevator was not working. No discount for that. The first room I was placed into the air conditioner was not working so I had to change rooms. The overall look of the hotel and rooms was old and needs an upgrade or refurbishing. Lamps were dusty and not clean. Carpet looked old/worn. Furniture was chipped or damaged. Also, when using the stairways, it smelled like marajuana. I informed the manager but unsure if he did anything about it.

    I checked in , front desk guy was nice . First red flag the elevator didn’t work . Had no choice but too use the stairs . Began up the stairs they were nasty , not vacuumed, ridiculously stained carpet. Entered the hotel room and room was stuffy didn’t smell clean at all !! Furniture outdated , and pull the covers back and what do you know hair in throughout the bed . Totally disgusted immediately went back too front desk with pictures , refund process was easy and quick .

    Elevator did not work, when I entered my room , the tv was static and didn’t cut on at all the whole night , I called and the front desk told me that something was going with WiFi …. Then I went to the bathroom and tried flushing toilet and there was no water running in toilet ….i called front desk again and asked to be moved to another room . She claimed there was no other rooms available….horrible horrible experience

    Worst experience I have ever had visiting a hotel there was Big Cockroaches we had to move to another room then they switched us to another room the toilet didn’t work next room there was no working lamps I literally ate my food in my car scared that another Roach wld pop up the area is dangerous and the Outside of the hotel will tell it all it’s dirty and u can see stuff pulled up in the rooms letting up at the windows from the parking the guest look high and on drugs or as if the were prostitution going on there I seen no Security and there is no Manager on the weekend this place shld be shut down the manager doesn’t care she states I shld of checked out and slept in my car I will be calling the help department on this facility this had to be stopped !

    Elevator not working for the 2 days I was there! No breakfast but it was advertised online that they served breakfast! Dirty room. Water fountain not working! It was Dirty looking even though it was not working. Dirty moldy looking buggy for carrying luggage. Dirty bathroom. Dirty microwave, dusty room.

    First when you use the app to get the room nowhere did I say just because u use the app that once u get there u have a $50 cash only deposit. So after getting there as late as it was I had to leave just to go find an atm and get cash and go back again after having issues with that as well. And when I get back 8ts another 20 minutes for them to go and redo all their paperwork and whatever I finally got a room. Then wake up the next morning to eat breakfast in the room and noticed a bed bug on the bed. Then management had the nerve to say it was from me when I had just brought a backpack in the room and was put in the bathroom by the sink and they still insisted on saying it was me. I thankfully don't have any and still don't. My wife has the video of all of this too.

    Basic Motel. Basic services, somewhat functional and at affordable rates. Good location and access to freeway and busy Westheimer Street and West Chase district offices. They need a $50 deposit upfront unlike other standard Business Hotels in the city. Ok for a brief stay on a budget.

    They clearly didn't clean my room before my stay, the bed was made but there was a bunch of hair on the other side of the pillow when I flipping it over. The towels were dirty and there were tiny bugs everywhere in the bathroom. The floor was filthy both in my room and in the hallway. The smoke alarm had been ripped out of the ceiling and there was just exposed wiring. There isn't anything to do in walking distance except go to ihop. Do not stay here.

    It was terrible,first off I went in and it smelled very bad like must and smoke,the floors were sticky and towels were gross,most lamps didn’t work and the front desk people would disappear for 3+ hours at a time,no kidding every day,me and my girlfriend were locked out our room and had to wait 3 hours just to get our card reactivated,crackheads everywhere as well by the way

    Awful place to stay! Place is outdated and the smell of humidity was very strong. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling and towels were old and rough. Carpets were very dirty and the couch on my room had rips everywhere. Elevator was slow and felt unsafe. There was no breakfast available and the are look unsafe.
