This hotel is DISGUSTING. Roaches as soon as you open the door and the most unbearable scent of urine everywhere. I can’t believe this is even open for people to live in. This place needs to be condemned.

2 room no TV, extremely noisy people kept me awake all night including one man that knocked then sounded on my door only to realize he had the wrong room. No phone to call the rude clerk to tell.

Don't go here, the room looks nothing like the pictures and they have roaches and some sketchy people hanging out. The air conditioner looks unsafe to touch. Exposed wires. 1 pillow for 2 people in a king size bed. Towels were dirty. I felt sick and I can't sleep with roaches crawling all around, it was so bad I checked out and was told they would give me $5 for the inconvenience, what a joke, this is false advertising, I wish I could show the pictures I took.

The room was dirty and the white sheets were NOT white nor clean. It’s disgusting to think I almost slept there. I’m glad I canceled and looked elsewhere. This complex is also in a really bad area. If you’re cool w it, by all means. But this place will make uoi question your stay, your walk to your car, your belongings in the car or room. No thanks. I’m sorry it might be for some but not for me. But front desk guy was nice and willing to do my refund without any questions once I showed him pics of dirty room.

what staff, there’s no staff just county sheriff’s monitoring check in desk. do not feel safe here. Guests are loud outside with what seems like arguing, playing music really loud. More importantly my door to room has gaps whereas you can see inside/outside of the room i’m in. I have requested another room but told there are no vacancies. The website description is deceiving from the actual hotel.This is fraudulent advertising. This hotel looks like a hotel that accommodates the criminal elements. The hotel does not even have a phone. You have to walk to the front desk. What type of business doesn’t have a phone number to contact them. I am requesting a refund so I can go find a safe place to stay. When I arrived, you have to check in via a security window which appears to be security glass. Once checked in, I drove around to the parking area closest to the room. There were parked cars with music playing and other people coming up to them for what seemed like transactions. Were people hanging out on the balcony’s drinking and shouting. In all very unsafe vibe. Highly discourage this place.

First room they put me in smelled like urine and was infested with roaches, and a bunch of traffic all night I feared for my safety. I went back to the office and they gave me another room and the second room wasn't any better! The AC wasn't working, roach infested, microwave was out, security lock broken, sheets had blood stains, one towel to use and had blood stains as well. Bathtub and vanity stopped up! I had to leave and slept in my car at a Walmart because I didn't have anymore money! worse experience ever!

Well after that initial shock, he trayed me the room key. I drove around the bend in the parking lot, which had football stadium lights (for a reason). The lot was full of sketchy characters, most of which resembled drug dealers, prostitutes, and rift rafts outcast from normal people. There was a caddy with all for tires missing sitting on its rotors. Next to my parking spot. I made it to my room on the second floor, open the door and the first thing that hits you is the smell. A mixture of dog urine, meth pipes, body odor, and sewage. I tried the light switches but all the lights were not working. So I hit the light on my cell phone and focus on the walls because they were moving. That movement was German cockroaches. Literally thousands of roaches running throughout the room. In the bed, floor, walls, bathroom, floor tiles. I put my foot on the bed and pushed. More roaches ran out from the mattress which was also saturated with dog urine. I immediately took my things and headed back to the attendant. No refunds! I took off.

This property is complete false advertising nothing is as it looks on this site. Not the property or the rooms. Its in katy but its ghetto. An im black calling it ghetto. The property/hotel is trash. I didnt go all the way in the room it so disgusting. Bed was filthy with white sheets. No pillows on bed. People there looking like they wanna rob you immediately. I didnt not stay got that key and gave it right back. I really want a refund but the world so damn greedy it aint happening. That play shouldn't be on nobody's website. I would stay as far away from this place as possible. Asked for a non smoking room and it reeked of weed. Had a roach infestation, seemen stains on the sheets, and the smoke detector had been removed. Only lasted 10 min in the room and they still refused to give a refund.

There are cockroaches everywhere and there is absolutely no daily house keeping whatsoever. They will knock on your door early every morning that you're scheduled to check out to make sure you're actually leaving or paying to extend your stay. The cops are called to the hotel multiple times per week without fail. My dogs started to get sick one night within the first week, they were vomiting and could not even keep water down the entire night. Also, i can't speak for everybody but the representatives working for customer service are nothing but completely rude and will lie through their teeth and completely deny that they even have a refer and earn rewards program for guests/family/friends you name it, who are signing up and booking through the app for the first time and onwards. They clogging cars less they'd not here to help and they will treat you like gsrbage.

i've never seen a more disgusting place presenting itself as a hotel in my life. i walked into the room and walked back out in less than a minute after seeing evidence of roach infestation everywhere (including live roaches), a broken minifridge that had leaked water all over the floor, a broken bathroom mirror, a visibly kicked in bathroom door, and a completely shattered bathtub/shower fixture. my mistake for not looking at the reviews that echo this, i would be deeply ashamed to take anybody's money for a room like this. -100/5 stars

At checkout Javier said we would receive $100 for two days for inconvenience us. I put left over cleaning supplies outside cleaning lady took them. But she didn't give us service the 6 days we were there. I didn't receive my refund

I booked a non-smoking room for my family and when we arrived to the location there were alcoholics destroying bottles in front of the lobby. After check out, and on the way to the room, everyone else was smoking cigarettes and weed. When we did get into the room, we were hit by pungent weed smell mind you I am deathly allergic to weed. We didn’t get the king size bed that we asked for, there were holes in the wall and the bed was filled with hair. We had to leave because I had an allergic reaction to the room in the weed that was still in the room. I booked the hotel for four days and only stayed for 20 minutes, but I couldn’t ask for a refund because I already checked in but in all honesty I deserve a refund.

I was there and told them im not gonna check-in becuse of safety concerns (drug addict and drunk people yelling and hookers on premises) and low standards of room not being cleaned and not being ready for my stay ! The front desk was affraid of everything going on around him so he would of long the lobby door and didn't even open the door for me as a guest.

I have travelled to over 40 countries over the past 30 years and have never stayed at a hotel as bad as the OYO on Katy Freeway. The room was damaged, no amenities, the television and refrigerator did not work. The toilet and shower were not cleaned. The property stunk of marijuana and the hotel is definitely a place where illicit activities are tolerated.

Check in requires cash only deposit which many didn’t have .. they have an atm onsite that doesn’t carry cash came back with cash and and the system was down

They did not provide any room cleaning. Had so many bugs so I requested them to spray rather than move to other rooms because all other rooms were nasty. But nobody came to spray or for housekeeping. The dirtiest motel in USA.

The idea that I can book a room with my card online, but I have to attempt to check in, get told a deposit must be made in cash, be forced to drive to an ATM before checking in or else there are no refunds if I cancel, and then having to drive back to the motel to check in is absolute insanity. There were looney toons outside screaming and getting high, right outside of the lobby, and the staff ignored it entirely. My “non-smoking” room smelled like smoke, but at the very least the bathroom looked clean. When I turned on the heater, it smelled like smoke and mold. I could hardly breathe. I turned it off and the room smelled like mold for the rest of the stay. I would not recommend staying here. Spend a tiny bit more and get something far better in the area.

The worst experience ever they asked for cash deposit once you’re there. There’s nothing in the website or anything that says it needs to give a cash deposit. Don’t be fool. They will not give it back to you. It is dirty. It’s a language barrier and they are scums.

Room and bathroom smelled of urine. No WiFi, had an antenna on the TV and I couldn't pick up any channels. Towels were old, thin and didn't absorb much moisture. Would not recommend OYO on Hwy 6 North in Houston.

One night stay but front desk service was terrible They hug up on me after I asked to check on something. Called back they didn’t answer. Called back the said hello but ignored me and then hung up. Called back they didn’t answer. The room was not well maintained the shower was lukewarm.

I went back to explain to the person on duty that was unacceptable and he explained to me that he would not be swapping out again I said expect us to spend the night in operable room do you not do maintenance on these rooms , he accused me of having an attitude and swapped out the room The TV did not work. We took a nap so that we could get back on the road and opted not to spend the night and these despicable circumstances. NEVER AGAIN ‼️A lot of people hanging out in the parking lot smoking weed.. did not feel safe at all

I am a truck driver and just wanted a room for the night during my reset so I can shower, stress out, and relax. I’m in my truck majority of the day. I get in the room and the sheet are dirty. As if they just made the bed from the previous guest. The chair had stains that you can tell could be cleaned but they clearly didn’t. The toilet was clogged as well. Spent no more than 5 mins in the room. I go to the front and asked could they have someone put fresh sheets on the bed. I showed him the pictures and he said “ we don’t have sheets here.” I told him that was unacceptable and asked would he sleep on that. He states he does sleep here. I stated that’s not the problem. The problem is the dirty room. He stands there lost for words not knowing what to say because he knows he wouldn’t sleep on that. I didn’t come aggressive or anything just simply asked for my refund and he sent the request to Expedia. But all in all, the hotel and rooms look NOTHING like the pictures as far as cleanliness. I ended up just sleeping in my truck.

This place is absolutely disgusting, the drugs and trash just outside like it’s no big deal random people walking around like they are high and probably are. The property it’s self was terrible if I got add pictures I so would not only did we pay way to much for that disgusting place once we got there we had to pay a $50 cash deposit and I took pictures so they couldn’t say we damaged their property. It was so bad we didn’t stay and drove 2 and half hours home with our kids. I refused to stay there with them the staff was so rude I will definitely see about getting my money back

So many roaches. Everywhere. I killed at least 12. The floor was broken everywhere. We waited almost 30 minutes in a 15x5 lobby with no AC and 4 other people waiting to check in. Smelt terrible. Security was extremely unfriendly and annoyed. There was a TV but no remote. The receiver did not work. Dirty sheets. No security latch for the door we had to use a chair.

Never got to stay here, and still got charged. They asked for 50 cash deposit. I offered my card and they declined. I contacted expedia and they told me even though i pur hased the protection plan i wasnt protected. So i had to purchase another room. Very mad about this experience from the motel and expedia not protecting me and my room. Again never even got to check un but was charged when they asked for a cash deposit. First of all the room was not ready by the time they said it was going to be ready so I gave him two extra hours and when I get there there were residents that were seriously scoping us out and there was roaches we had no hot water the refrigerator was not cooling the TV didn't even want to work the bed sounded like it was about to break when you sat on it but to top it off the people that were around there it's like they had a hit on us and we left I guess by 7:00 p.m. that day so we never stayed the night I do not recommend this hotel for nobody it is too dangerous there's a lot of drugs and prostitution

Worst experience ever!

No room No power No assistance finding something else. Had funeral and changed in car after five hr drive.

I was unable to stay at the property because there was no power in the Houston area. I was not notified ahead of time that there was no power. The front door only had two pieces of paper: one said, "No Power" and the other said "No Rooms". There was no one at the front desk to speak to.
