Wish breakfast started at 6:30 on the weekends!

There was no plastic liner in the shower, just the linen one. This made things a bit messy but it was fine.

My husband and I travel to Houston, TX, often to visit with family. We are very particular about where we stay. The Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston West - Energy Corridor exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the location was very quiet. The breakfast was exceptional! We would definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfast was good and the staff very kind. The parking lot was also good and thrre were akways a soace available.

The water pressure was the worst of any hotel we'd been in. Impossible to shower. Also killed 5 roaches in 6 days. Otherwise, relatively quiet and peaceful.

The room was musky smelling, there was hair from a previous guest all over the bathroom floor, and the walls need touch up paint badly. The air conditioner in the bedroom was making such horrible noises we had to just turn it off. I did not contact the front desk about it as I’m sure we would have been ask to change rooms. At midnight, that’s the last thing we wanted to do.

- I had to buy hair conditioner, as none was provided. Most hotels I have stayed provided both shampoo and conditioner. -There was no full length mirror in our room, which was frustrating.

Cleanliness, size of room

My stay was excellent. I had to scramble for a place to stay after my short term rental with VRBO was canceled the night before checking in. I have stayed at this facility many times in the past so I knew what to expect. Those expectations were far exceeded which will make decisions to stay there in the future alot easier. Cant blame your staff for the noisy people above me at times but it wasn't much to complain to staff about.

Needed a few maintenance check ups such as light switches that were broken cracked tile in the shower

Lovely facility. Super clean. Very comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet. The king sized room came with a full kitchen, dining area, and work area. Lots of space. Would definitely stay here again! My room was missing a phone. But that was ok, because I just called down to the reception from my cell phone if I needed anything.

Loved it. Clean, good room designs, cotton bedding linens, Super FANTASTIC Staff.The faucets in the kitchen and bathroom will take the Pur and Sprite filter devices. The shower can take the Sprite shower hand wand filter handle. I'm allergic to chlorine and fluoride so this adaptability is very important to me. Thank you!

I didn't like the idea of pets on the location where on the website it stated no pets. Contacted the so call manager by email and didn't get any type of response or anything concerning our. I will not be staying there again

Location was good, but did not feel too safe. On Friday 13th during the breakfast someone entered the hotel (not a hotel guest) I could hear the front desk attendant telling him it was only for guests, but he entered the breakfast area, said something and ran out through the door that goes to the basketball hoop. did not feel too safe. The external trash cans were overflowing with trash and it took at least 2 days to be cleared out. There was trash in front of room 102 that was not picked up for more than 1 day. We stayed for 3 nights and our bedroom was never cleaned it was supposed to come every other day, body wash was missing and the bathroom sink was clogged. Very nasty.

It was ok. I got it because Expedia said they had a hot tub and they didn’t. It was cold so I was excited to use the hot tub there but they didn’t have it. Everything else was pretty nice though. Good breakfast and good restaurants nearby.

I checked in and I checked right back out . The room was filthy. The odor was nasty . I returned the key and left . I still await my receipt I was told would be emailed to me . I was told it’s mine refunded. So I will dispute with a firm . First time I experienced this with Homewood suites .

The rooms were kept well but bathroom needs more cleaning , shower heads not clean, renovation for bathrooms could be done. Breakfast should have more variety- served sausage for at least 3 days. Front desk personnel should be more pleasant Nd service oriented.

Warning, if you ever have to change your reservation, be sure and call the hotel to verify the change was made. I changed the date on my stay with Expedia by calling their customer service line (in the Philippines.) After changing the date requested, Expedia failed to inform the hotel about the change and when I got to the hotel they did not want to honor the reservation since it was for the wrong date. After waiting a long time on the phone for a real person in the Philippines to answer the phone, the hotel manager on duty, went ahead and changed my reservation for me.

Online shows they have a hot tub by the pool, shows in pictures as well. But they no longer have one, it have been cemented over. This was a main point in choosing this hotel for us, so this was disappointing. This needs to be taked down and removed for when choosing this selection for searching. The bed was very uncomfortable. A firm mattress. Very firm. Our backs were hurting for the last 2 days. We stay in Homewood Suites alot. It is our 1st choice when we can find one and this was the 1st time the mattress was uncomfortable. Overall stay was pleasant and quite. Homewood suites is 9 out 10 for us. This one in particular, for us we will skip if in the area again.

The bed was comfortable. The size of the room was big enough for the price. Location was good, lots of restaurants around. Good selection at snack stations. I would've given the 5 stars if it wasn't for the false advertisement. I booked this hotel after searching hours for one. I wanted something specific due to the fact that I never really take a day off from work. This one was 45 minutes away. I decided to take off on the Friday before Easter because I knew I wasn't going to be able to have a good weekend for personal family reasons so all we wanted was time away from home and relaxation. I just wanted to enjoy it with my kids (17, 5, 2). I chose to go with this hotel because on the website, it said it had a pool AND a jacuzzi/hot tub or whatever. Once we got there, there was only the pool, which the water was extremely cold that the kids didn't stay in for more than 20 minutes! 2 of the main reasons we chose this hotel, 1) for the hot tub and 2) so the kids can enjoy the pool for a few hours and we didn't even get to enjoy either! Very disappointing. Also, when I was checking in, the receptionist guy tells me that there is a $100 refundable deposit, which whatever it's fine, I just wish they would put that on their website so ppl know ahead of time. The 2 other things that bothered me was the sink clogs so that was annoying. And I wasn't even able to make my coffee in the morning because I don't think the freaking coffee machine was cleaned. Sad to say I won't be coming back here again.

Carpets and walls need to be touched up and the bed was too firm.

The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great. My only complaint is the air conditioner had a very loud noise every time it kicked on. We had a suit and the one out in the living area was fine but the one in the bedroom was loud.

Staff is friendly

I travel with my fur-babies and we found the hotel and room very comfortable and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with how many vegan friendly items were available to purchase in the store section of the hotel that has snacks and drinks and very happy to find two choices in the breakfast dinning area for the morning meal (chia seed pudding with almond milk and overnight oats with almond milk).

Very comfy and big rooms

We stayed in an accessible suite with 2-beds. The bedroom door clashes with the bathroom door. The bedroom door needs to have the swing reversed. Also the bathroom door is about 1’ away from the bed, making it difficult to walk around. Other than this inconvenience, the stay was excellent. We arrived on a Wednesday evening and they had a free buffet which was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The price is reasonable and room is clean and comfortable

This was the 3rd time staying here and I had no complaints until my truck was almost stolen. I didn't realize how bad it is in Houston, especially if you have a certain make or model vehicle. No fault to the employees at all, they were very cooperative and even let me park under the overhang by front desk my last night. Just be aware that criminals have no respect and there is no parking security, only a night guard who stays in building.

When I got to the room, the trash from the previous visitor was still in the trash can and it seemed like they took a used soap bar and put it back in the box for use by the next guest. The room itself wasn’t terrible, but there were some stains on the walls and the noise from traffic outside was pretty loud. The breakfast was above average though.

Usually, I create a pretty long list of things that I need or things that need attention. I had no problem creating quite a long list. I was not certain that they would be able to accommodate me. I was pleasantly surprised that they were and they did! The wear and tear on this hotel is just like any other, I think mainly because inexpensive materials are used to renovate rooms. I wished that there were more grab bars even in the non-accessible rooms. The windows were filthy, especially on the inside due to the massive amount of condensation that was created from the temperature change between inside and outside. We had a kitchen room, which left a lot to be desired because of the lack of any type of bowl that was larger than your hand and other things one might need to use for cooking. The staff was very conscientious. There was absolutely nothing fresh at the breakfast except some mushy apples. Carbs, Carbs and more Carbs. I understand that it is expensive to feed that many people. Fruit, butI suggest somehow this hotel should add this to the breakfast. There was a really cute waffle maker that was in the shape of Texas. The hotel was quiet, the parking lot was very safe and we enjoyed our stay.

Stay was wonderful! Would definitely stay again! I only wish the shower was a bit wider and had a stoop in it, but that is minor. Someone had their car broken into. The neighborhood has some challenges, but the hotel is truly nice. Be smart and don't leave anything of worth in plain sight and you'll be fine.

Advertise theres a jacuzzi tub and dont have one

My home is always going to be Homewood Suites. I love the area, friendliness and the suites.

Clean comfy bed and spacious room we got really good rest. It has sofa bed n kitchen has dishes, utensils n cooking pots. Continental hot Breakfast was fresh n with varieties much better than alot of similar hotels. I like that they use real plates n utensils, instead of plastic or paper or styrofoams. Will stay again for sure.

Door locks can be very touchy, lift up not down to open.

The Location near everything

We were plagued by noise and vibrations that sounded like someone stomping on the floor in the room above us. It was so heavy that it seemed like our room was vibrating. Sometimes it sounded like they were dropping heavy boxes on the floor. It went on for several hours after we got back from dinner with family members, about from 7:30pm to 9:30. We talked to the front desk attendant in person about the problem around 9:30pm. He called the room but no one answered. This seemed to take care of the problem but it started again at 1am for a little while (15 minutes) and then stopped.

Outstanding stay. Very quiet room. Very nice breakfast. Professional staff. The only downside was something the hotel could not control - road construction. Definately will stay there again! Cheers!

Both hilton.com and hotels.com advertise that they have a hot tub, which was the only reason I booked this room, they do not have a hot tub. I wish I could put into words my level of my disappointment.

I definitely expected more from a Hilton Property. Upon arrival I was given a handicap room which I did not book. I was told that's the only room they had. I went to the room and it was simply unacceptable. The front desk rep provided me another room in which my room key didn't work. They called maintenance and maintenance told that I have to play with the lock to open the door!!! Horrible. The room was slightly dirty. The shower floor was dirty. Hair on the carpet. The only good thing was the location. I believe it's the management of this property. Hilton youcan do better!!

It's very close to medical facilities and has a basketball court and a pool.

My room was not very clean, the neighbor upstairs was very loud. The gym was closed, as there was a sign on it, but the night gentleman told me it was closed, but I saw people in there on my last day and the lady at the front said it was open even though the sign said closed.

The first 3 days we didn’t have any room cleaning had to go to the reception to get clean towels all the time we’re there the floor never mopped or swept but the breakfast was very good also one day lost power from 4:00pm to 11:30pm and no communication with management

Beautiful hotel, recently remodeled. I love the soft relaxing colors, delicious breakfast. The facilities are clean, with extremely comfortable beds. Pet policy is reasonable. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about my stay. I'll look for Homewood Suites again and hope they are all this good.

The breakfast buffet had a lot of good options both hot and cold. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious.

The property itself has great potential with perhaps some staffing changes. The rooms are spacious and it has nice amenities. We questioned the extent of the cleaning as there was remnants of excrement in the toilet and hair on the floor. The breakfast had many options, however some of it was cold. The coffeemaker apparently broke and they ran out of coffee. When asked about coffee the person working the breakfast area was rude to people and didn’t explain the situation until after we had asked a couple times about refilling the coffee (in addition to others asking too). We had booked this place for the hot tub, however it was lukewarm at best and had a lot of outdoor debris in it so we ended up not using it which was disappointing.

Lovely hotel and close to restaurants and such. Was clean and almost all service was very good. The man over the breakfast buffet seemed in a rush to put everything up. We did arrive 15 minutes before the buffet ended and the coffee was already cool… the water and fruit machine had been turned off as well. When I asked him for some water, he told me to go buy a bottle at the front desk. The lady at the front desk was kind enough to give me a bottle free of charge. We were a bit taken back by all this but I still think it’s a lovely clean hotel.

The hotel was very clean from the reception to the room. The first room I stayed in was very spacious and everything was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The curtains and blinds need some tlc, they looked old and dirty with some visible tears. You wouldn’t notice unless you tried to block out the light like I did so as to get a good night’s sleep. Now to the ugly. Someone tried to enter my room at 2:59am. The only reason I know the time was because I was fast asleep and looked at the clock when I jumped out of bed to go look. Whoever it was obviously had a key because I heard the beep a couple times. I didn’t have the deadbolt on because it didn’t work earlier. I only had the hook on and that was the only reason the person couldn’t get in. I told the lady at the counter and she was very nonchalant and just asked if I wanted to move my room. I did. She didn’t offer help moving knowing that I had a meeting at 8am, which was the reason I was in Houston. I came back at 3pm and met an older guy at the counter. He was even more nonchalant than the previous person. They said they would investigate and never did. No one called me as promised. I forgot my night light in the previous 218 and they said they didn’t see it. It was a plug in and no more than $3 but what irritated me was their nonchalant attitude about everything. I reported the incident of the attempted break in but I doubt they would do anything. Other than that, my stay was ok. Beware of Rm 218!

Room wasn’t completed. Phone didn’t work. No hot water in the morning. No hair dryer. A/c slow to cool. Fascia board on sink fell off & hurt me. No one on property to fix anything at night after 3 hr power outage. No hot coffee in the morning. Breakfast removed with 10 minutes to go before their deadline.

The staff was very nice and immediately changed our room when we complained about the smoke smell in our room while was so bad you could taste it.

The property was fairly clean ,The bath tubs could have been a lot cleaner.For the most part is was quiet and the area seemed pretty safe .I didn’t notice any loitering or loud music.

The property DOES NOT look like the picture they post. The room was dirty, full of dust. The shower was completely dirty, with some yellow stains that flushed with the water, like no one had entered the room in at least 1 year. NOT RECOMMENDED. I felt Cheated.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and great location to the Katy location of MD Anderson. Breakfast was palatable but the potatoes were under cooked and the sausages were overcooked. The hotel is undergoing some renovations but the construction was well contained away from our area and no noise to deal with.

So the manager of this hotel is so rude. We had booked through hotels.com $115 for a room. We called the hotel at 10pm and said we’d be alittle after midnight since we have a newborn. The lady there said they didn’t have any rooms available, that hotels.com made a mistake. We said ok we’ll call get a refund. We call hotels.com they said we will call the hotel property and ask to verify. Manager said the room was ready and we didn’t show up. Took matters into our own hands. My wife called the hotel the manager a male was so rude and told her that we were wrong. He said I know what rooms were available even tho he wasn’t there last night. He started raising his voice towards my wife, so I got on the phone I said sir can we talk too the lady that worked that night. He said no, because I know she wouldn’t lie about the room. Then I said sir we don’t have a lot of money, I just want this resolved. He said well you’re wrong you just didn’t show up. Started raising his voice again. Worst manager and experience ever.

This hotel didnt live up to our expectation of a Homewood Suites hotel. The lobby has been remodeled, looked new and modern. However the guest room is dated and need upgrade.

The morning staff was friendly. Room was good. The negative things were no extra towels were available. So we had to find a way for our family of 6 to shower with only the few towels they provide. Also, housekeeping did not clean our room, which was a first for us! Whenever we travel we always either stay at Homewood or Embassy. They entered our room and left towels the next day, after we requested again, but no tidying was done. Overall the visit was fair. I would have to say this was probably the least satisfying stay at a Homewood we’ve had.

The staff was so friendly I highly recommend this hotel!

It was overall good, although during the breakfast time there were quite a few things missing. Like spoons, creamers etc. There was just one lady, bless her heart, running left and right trying to put things in order. I wish she had some help. Also, was hoping for some more variety in the breakfast choices.

Every single staff member was extremely helpful, friendly, personable, and fun! From checking in, the guest room attendants, and especially the kitchen staff, were all amazing and so pleasant. Great job representing the brand well!

I liked that it was cleaned and well maintained, the breakfast was good. My only complaint was that i couldn't stay longer.

The breakfast buffet was out of juice by 9:30am although the buffet closed at 10am on the weekends. I would suggest getting there early. The room was nice and had great black out curtains but the alarm clock time was wrong and I didn’t know how to update the time. So I got up extra early not realizing it was early until I looked at my watch. I would stay again. Loved the fact that they had a basketball hoop and BBQ’s outside for guest to use.

The front desk staff is amazing, Ms. Georgia (?) Was kind and definitely accommodating to the guest.

It’s was actually clean and quiet. The shower could of been a lot better but everything else was good.

The front desk attendant was very kind and gave suggestions on local grocery stores near by. The day we arrived the hot water was out. We were informed it was due to power outage that occurred prior to our arrival. Luckily the hot water was restored by the following morning.

Room is good size with kitchenette. Might need to add fruit for breakfast. Dishes were not unloaded off dishwasher when I checked in. Could do better cleaning job.
