    I love love love the bathroom, when booking a room for some quiet time because im a mom and every now and then i need me a mental break and just to wind down, this was perfect for me. the room service, the fresh baked cookies just to say thank you, was top tier. The breakfast was a plus too. Will definitely be going back.. For my first visit first impression, there was nothing that I did not like about it. Everything checked out good for me. Oh if i had to pick, more movie channels maybe for some tv options for those who enjoy a little television.

    One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Arrived at 4p and my room wasn’t ready. They told me 20 minutes. An hr and 20 later I needed my room to shower and change for a meeting so went to the desk and they somehow found me one. The room was tiny, faced an inner courtyard thing where all I could see was directly into 15-20 rooms, half of which were under construction except the one directly across from me where we could see each other. My room was right by an elevator where I could literally hear it going up and down the entire night. I’ve stayed in many jw marriotts and this was by far the worst. They charged luxury hotel prices also. I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere

    It would be nice to know if a luxury hotel is under renovation BEFORE making reservations. Was notified by the hotel that the lobby was being renovated after a non-refundable reservation. Valet parking is across and down the street one block requiring guests to walk past several smelly garbage dumpsters to park and retrieve their car. Can't recommend the JW until the renovation is complete. With all that, the room was nice and the staff were courteous.

The carpet had a bad smell at a heated room temp. When you did get through the difficult connection process to the internet, the internet speed was horrible and you'd need to pay even more for tolerable speeds. The hdmi connection didn't work on the TV either. The Griffin Lounge Breakfast was greatly disappointing. Parking situation was also tedious and confusing; they own no parking.

    The room was great and so were all the employees! It was very clean and the breakfast was nice. The room we were in felt very luxurious and comfortable They have renovations going on and some streets are blocked off. They have temporarily set up valet across the street. Overall I feel like the good attitudes, the professionalism of the staff, and the beautiful room helped me get over those small things. I still recommend to everyone in the area

    I got to the hotel at 11:30pm. At check-in, I only asked for 1 thing from this hotel. I said please wake me up at 7am with a wake up call. I did not get a wake up call at all. I don’t know how this hotel got a 5 star rating. The pillows are not comfortable. There is no extra pillow in the closet. The mini bar just had 2 bottles of water, no drinks/snacks. 4 star hotel vibes. Spend your money elsewhere

    Valet parking drop off was easy to miss, and I did. Had to drive around and try again. The construction going on in the building next to the hotel was unsightly. The quality of the bedding and furniture in the room was “okay” but not what I expected from a premium brand hotel. I am not saying it was bad; it just wasn’t as nice as what I’ve experienced at other J.W. Marriot Hotels

    Blackout curtains are a fail. Doors are very squeaky in rooms/ between room sections and hard to be quiet if you want to be. Staff were often using elevators loading them with dirty dishes, laundry, etc when there are dedicated work elevators. Parking situation was a mess. Construction made it worse but an added hassle if you have a car. Staff were awesome. Very friendly and willing to go above and beyond.

    Wonderful property and amenities. So many dining options in walking distance. The area is under construction in front of hotel but with one bag each, we were able to maneuver just fine. Top notch bartenders (Mike & Ike). Staff was on point with everything. I would choose this location again.

    It’s very secure. I didn’t like the construction and how confusing it was to get valet parking. It’s in a garage on the 10th floor and then you have to go from one elevator to the next elevator to locate the hotel vs the parking. It’s just a mess!

    There was mishaps in delivery of Anniversary foods items chicure board and strawberries. Items were ordered prior to trip to be in room prior to arrival. They were not delivered. Called 7pm to inquire why delivery did not happen and to ask for a microwave. Microwave was delivered but still no food. The next day advised Michelle front desk Supervisor and she was wonderful. She gave us a food credit which was nice. We were out all day and when we arrived back to the room chicure board and strawberries was on the table. Classy! I left a nice Google message with Michelle's name in it. Thank you Michelle.

    Underwhelming stay. Valet parking was an inconvenience and like navigating a maze. Spa was over priced and OKAY for $500. Should have went with my first mind to book Four Seasons for my Anniversary. Not going back.

    Typically JW Marriott is a solid place to stay. Quaint, clean, friendly staff, excellent service beginning with the bellmen on. However, a few hours prior to arrival, we received notification that the hotel was under renovations & the valet drop was moved to the 10th floor of a parking garage. It was like a maze to get to the hotel lobby. My guess it prob took take at least 10min for a round trip to and from the valet. The front desk person was friendly and very personable, matter of fact the entire hotel staff provided excellent service. The room was spacious and clean, with zero view. Our view was that of other JW hotel rooms & construction/destruction. Our room did not directly face the construction, we could see the rooms under renovation to our right. Work began between 7am-8am Saturday morning with loud banging. We could literally see the work happening. Good thing for us, we left our curtains closed and our room by 9am and did not return until after 10pm; however work resumed Sunday around 8am. Although we LOVE staying at this particular JW because of the small size and excellent service. I just wish we would have know about construction or been put on a floor that was not at construction level. I did not complain to the front desk as we were in for a quick trip and did not spend much time in the hotel. If you are staying ask about construction status.

    Older hotel, infrastructure needs work. Room door handles very difficult to operate. TV remotes OLD and are semi functional. How hard is it to get a TV remote that works?Room service coffee cups are too small and not functional for people with larger hands. Room service large coffee pot old and hard to pour. Just an old worn out hotel. Not up to JW Marriott standards.

    We stayed on the second floor and you could hear everything above me. I booked this hotel for 2 days and I barely got any sleep the first night. It sounded like it was kids above me jumping or someone dragging something across the floor. The walls are thin, the noise outside from the train and the vacuum from housekeeping kept me up. I would never stay here again!

    Overall, the stay was fine. However, I was disappointed that the area around the property was under construction making it very accessible unfriendly for anyone with a disability. The staff did try to make accommodations, but valet and parking outside of the hotel was unsatisfactory. Due to construction, valet was a block down the street meaning that you had to walk a block in the rain with your luggage to get to the hotel entrance. The same is true for self-park. It rained my entire stay. As someone who has a walking disorder, it was very challenging, and I had no forewarning that this would be the scenario.

    Initially, they put me in the wrong room but they were very quick and friendly about rectifying it and getting me to the deluxe suite I reserved. I forgot the young man's name at the front desk, but he was great (he wears glasses). Nada, my waitress at the 806 Lounge/Restaurant, was amazing, friendly, and very attentive. She was great! My spa session was the best I've had compared to some other places and they really rolled out the red carpet for me.

    The experience during my stay here was very nice, staffs were very attentive, accommodating and friendly. I was shocked the hotel didn’t have a pool though . Never the less the spa experience was amazing . The hotel is located downtown close to other restaurants aswell .
