Not much of a snack bar, no ice machines, no vending machines, and take your own soap if staying here. They were out of soap and didn't know when they were getting some. Very Strange. This was a first!

Room I stayed at this hotel on April 27. Breakfast was included, and initially I had no major issues. The bed was very comfortable, which was a strong positive. However, the bathroom was quite basic and the shower pressure was weak. Because the bed was so comfortable, I decided to return the following night. At check-in, I was assisted by a very friendly staff member. After completing the check-in, I asked for a restaurant recommendation, and he suggested the hotel’s own restaurant. I arrived around 8:45 PM and was informed that the kitchen was already closed. I asked for another recommendation, and the staff suggested McDonald’s. I went back to the front desk to mention this, and the receptionist apologized, went to the restaurant, and came back saying they would still serve me. However, I clearly noticed that the restaurant staff seemed unhappy about it. I remembered a simple rule: it’s not a good idea to eat food prepared by someone who is visibly unwilling. So I decided not to proceed and went to McDonald’s instead. The next morning, when I went for breakfast (which was included in my rate), my name was not on the list. I went to the front desk to clarify, but no solution was provided. I ended up leaving without having breakfast. Later, I noticed that my card had been charged a deposit and an additional fee that had not been applied on the first night. One charge appears to be the deposit, but the other has no clear explanation. To make matters worse, I requested invoices for both stays through Booking.com chat and received no response at all. Conclusion: I do not recommend this hotel. There is no consistent management standard — your experience depends entirely on which staff member you deal with. There is a clear lack of consistency, poor communication, and lack of transparency in billing.

Not terrible but also not great. Just middle of the road. I’ve stayed here twice because of work but I will not be staying there again. Just meh. My bathroom had a dirty towel left in my shower.

Other than the AC not really getting the rooms cold, the hallways were HOT and the beds weren’t very comfortable. It was clean, safe, and worked for us for the weekend!

We asked daily for enough towels for our daily and each day we were only given two. The booking shows 4 people - why make it so hard to take care of your guests. It’s easy stuff that should be taken care of not requiring guests to ask.

They are very stingy about providing anything extra other than the room. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom sewage system could be upgraded, it had a funky smell the whole time. The location was amazing for what was needed in the area. Overall not too bad of a place. The bed made the whole trip.

Front Desk Staff was HORRIBLE. He tried to scam me out of money I already paid to stay there and then spoke to me like I was dumb. He was highly disrespectful and RUDE and I will never go back there.

The hotel rooms have an odor. I was in room 204 and opened the door to hang up my clothes and immediately closed the door back because of the smell. I'm not sure what the smell was it was a combination of maybe sewage with bleach or something.

Parking is horrible, hallways are very stuffy, carpets and sofas are horrible and need to be replaced. It smelled musty.

The stay was great and really clean. There was only two things I’d like to mention. The check in clerk after doing the check in in process mentioned all the amenities and mention where we will have the breakfast but false to mention that we have to pay $14.99 per person to eat. Which was strange but it’s ok and the other thing is if you have a sensitive nose then know that the shower drain does release a strong smell

I am writing to formally submit a complaint and to request a full refund of the amount paid for a reservation made through Expedia at the Holiday Inn located in Houston, Texas. Upon my arrival at the hotel, I received poor, unprofessional, and unsatisfactory customer service, which resulted in a very negative experience and was completely contrary to the quality and service standards expected from a hotel chain such as Holiday Inn. I did not pay for breakfast. we had dinner in the restraunt that night the computer was not working so we could not pay for our dinner. I had to go to my room and then get dress again and down stairs to pay. we as for a 3:30 am wake up call never got one. We had to be in the hospital by 7:00 am for surgery. When I booked the hotel i ask how far Memorial Herman hospital was I was told 11 mins. It ended up it was 45 minutes. I would on not booked this hotel if I knew it was that far.The shower was very very slippery we were afraid we would fall.

We loved how spacious the room was. Beds were comfortable, room was quiet and clean. I wish the bathroom had a fan that we could turn on for the moisture from the hot water. Other than that no negatives with our stay.

Although the facade is modern, unfortunately there are damp patches on parts of the roof, the low toilets are very inconvenient, and the water filling system has problems... I hope they improve for future guests...

Not sure if the had been previous water damages or what had caused it but I didn’t feel safe in the room so we asked to switch. They then put us in #423 same moldy smell as soon as we entered the room. In addition there was 5% water pressure in the shower. Never staying there again and if we had been given a refund we would have switched hotel right away.

The room had no bathtub so had to wash toddler and infant in the sink. Waterbug also in attendance in our room :/ AC worked well so reason for 2 stars. Hard beds. Breakfast was okay, but it ran out quickly, and took forever to bring new out. Typical hotel box eggs, bacon swimming in grease, sausage, pancake, yogurt, cereal options, and juice, coffee, milk, fruit and pastries. 3rd night after a long day out we wanted to relax by the pool. Got there around 8 and the smell of chlorine was horrific. Front desk said it was still open and opened the outside door to get fresh air in. Electricity went out in the whole hotel for about 5 minutes, husband was trapped in elevator, hot tub was broken, and the same worker from the restaurant came and said "yall know this is closed right? The hot tub is broken and i dont know when the pool was cleaned. We left. Go elsewhere!

It’s nice area but the pool was freezing, the restaurant wasn’t really a restaurant and was closed multiple times while we were there. I always stay at the Holiday Inn- this one was a disappointment.

I liked it before and have stayed here several times, but yesterday I had a bad feeling. As soon as I entered the room, the smell was so bad that I almost wanted to vomit. Nice and clean hotel. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Fitness room was cozy, but had a treadmill and weights, which worked well. Highly recommend stopping for a meal at Senor Burrito, which is a very short walk from the hotel.

Everything went great until the next morning when the room felt pretty warm. We walked out of our room to see that there was no power and I had to walk down 4 flights of stairs with 3 little kids and our luggage.

I did not like my stay because it was hard to get in touch with the front desk. When you try to call the hotel it is always busy. They had no Wi-Fi. I paid for breakfast and they did not have any breakfast. And the way that the room keys are presented is very cheap.

I don’t ever stay at this hotel. The customer service was horrible. I was given a room where the air conditioner was out. After complaining a few times, they finally checked it out and I was given another room. The 2nd room’s key card function didn’t work. I had no choice but to stay here as Houston experienced a natural disaster and I didn’t have electricity at home.

bed had bed bugs. I woke up this morning very itchy. I wasn't even supposed to stay in this hotel originally so I am pissed off that I am going through this. Expedia will be hearing from me in the morning.

Service great, limited options on television

This hotel is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at. This hotel smells like smoke and the room is moldy. This hotel is extremely cold, I don’t recommend this hotel.

This was close to the office and was a quiet location.

Overall stay was good. The food was good and property was clean and front desk staff was very friendly my only complaint is that no housekeeping came by the entire stay.

Iris, my housekeeper, did an excellent job with my room. Front desk staff were polite and attentive. Check-in/our was easy. Property is older and a bit rundown, issues like no fan in the bathroom are inconvenient and dated. But room was updated, otherwise, and pleasant. I did not use other facilities (pool, workout room, etc.).

The food at Legends was great. However there was no room service or number for a call-in togo order. Unusual for the only in-house restaurant or kitchen.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful! I enjoyed my stay. Truly they attended to all our needs. The only thing bad I would have to say is the crusty breakfast that the holiday inn had in there! They had the nerve to charge $10 per person per day for food that looked like it sat out all night

Refund Me My Money Please!

The first room had a leak in the bathroom, water all over the floor, plus no towels. The second room they moved us too didn’t have towels the room stink and the sheets wasn’t clean. So we left the hotel with no refund. Over all this hotel sucks never again will I book a stay with them. We hated it and it was my birthday.

Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Refrigerator in room did not work, 3 towels for 4 people booked, toilet seat was not bolted down, dirty grout in shower. Founf a cigarette butt in the ice bucket. Other than these, room was large and comfortable, bed was awesome. Bar/restaurant was closed. Breakfast grab bags were $5! No thanks.

Staff was great hotel was very clean. We were not aware of the hotels indoor pool being closed. The breakfast was subpar. More staff is needed to assist with the breakfast. It was basically a free for all people loading up items by the handfuls leaving nothing for others. Other then that great place will be back if ever in the area again

Travel was good. I wish we would've been informed that there was not going to be any continental breakfast or any options of purchasing food at the hotel before we arrived. But overall, employees were accommodating and friendly. Our rooms were clean.

Staff was nice but wsited til after i paid for my room to tell me the pool was closed as well as the kitchen. So no breakfast for my family and they were looking forward to swimming. The room was clean but the beds are very uncomfortable. Hard in fact. Overall the stay was ok but not what i was expecting coming from out of town on a family trip.

A nice quite night away from everyone and everything

Beakfast was not all that great. I don’t know what they were trying to do with the pancakes. Something seriously wrong with them.

I loved how close I was to the destination I traveled for service and amenities were great, there were a few issues with the room. The bathroom door would not close and serval drawers on the furniture would not close. The a/c was failing and make horrible noises every time in kicked on but overall I had a satisfactory stay.

The room was great, very spacious and updated! The breakfast was pretty good and the service was great. The bar felt a little dated for how nice the rest of the hotel was.

Everything was great. Room was clean. Staff was helpful.
