Courtyard by Marriott Houston Medical Center/NRG Park

My husband and I have stayed several times at this Courtyard by Marriott when we have had medical conditions and have had to be at the Hospital or Dr. appointments very early the next morning. We highly recommend this hotel. It is very well taken care of and the staff is very friendly. We have never had any problems staying here and it is very close to the Medical center, NRG stadium and everything else that you might need.

Couldn’t have enjoyed my stay more. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast from the coffee bar was truly outstanding (make sure you include it in your reservation). Would definitely stay here again.

The lobby, elevator and room itself were very clean; however, the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. I found hair on linens that didn’t belong to me and hairs in the tub. I had to wipe it down before using it.

Parking is $10/night just for them to have signs saying they're not responsible for anything negatively done to your vehicle.

We come every 3 months and our hotel was full due to the rodeo so we decided to stay here. Checkin was good staff was sweet, lobby was nice but once we got in the elevator and to the 3rd floor it started smelling like sewer and the floor “carpet” was so dirty like it needed to be vacuumed. We entered room 328 and the room was okay old but okay. Once we got in the bed it was so HARD like laying on a board. We were so upset not getting any sleep!! let me tell you we had a hard time making my appointments at MD from no sleep. So this one will be off our schedule for our next trip. Do better courtyard by Marriott.! The price was $289 for one night I feel like I got robbed!!

It was clean & comfortable No coffee in the lobby

The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping horizontally at the foot of the bed and ultimately only got 3 hours of sleep. Also, the A/C was loud and there was a lot of noise from the street, even on the third floor.

The bathroom tub had brown remnants draining after the shower. It was gross. However, the front desk moved us to another room, and the room was great.

The staff, especially Sydnee, was courteous, knowledgeable and very friendly! The facility is easy in and out and close to all medical locations in the Houston medical district. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Too many taxes! State, county and city. Parking fee is unacceptable when you are already paying for a room!

Because it’s a Starbucks hotel, there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby. In short, not terrible, nice on the surface, lacking beneath. Meh.

The bed was comfortable and room was quiet. However, a/c was never as cold as thermostat showed. Woke up several times during night hot and uncomfortable. Which was a shame as had to be at hospital early the next morning for surgery.

This property is awesome exclamation point it was a little difficult to find as the sign is very small, but it is well worth the effort to locate it. This was not a good experience for 600/ night. To inflate the rate 3x of the room is insane but then the room smelled like feet and smoke, the sink was cracked, and broken elevator buttons was not worth the price. Breakfast was not even included in that rate. Staff offered to reimburse me some money for the awful room and never did and couldn't move me due to capacity and didn't apologize. I don't like dishonesty and won't stay there again.

We checked in on Friday, June 13th the staff that was working that day/weekend were extremely friendly. It was nice to be greeted with a friendly smile as well. We especially liked the fact that a shuttle was available to drop us off at the NRG Stadium. We will definitely stay at the Courtyard Marriott next time we visit Houston, Tx . Highly recommend.

The mattress was as uncomfortable as any I've ever slept on. Was out of my room by 9-9:30, removed my do not disturb sign and still no one came back to clean the three nights I stayed there.

I had a great stay. Wasn’t able to get my original room at first but they switched me instantly the next day. The staff was great. Houston is a very nice city. Plan on visiting again and staying at this same hotel.

The Shower heads need to be replaced. The shower water went directly to the floor even with the shower curtains. Other than that, it was a very clean

The hotel was good, but our truck got broken into. We were at MDA that am. Staff knew it was our truck and didn’t let us know. When we checked on our truck, we noticed that the window was busted out. Staff was not helpful and said that it happened before. Some staff were not friendly at all. Won’t be staying here again.

My biggest complaint for the property is there was no hot water for my entire stay. The water wouldn't even get Luke warm. I had to go to planet fitness to shower.

Rooms are a little dated, but otherwise this is a good choice if you want easy parking and a comfortable bed. You will have to drive to medical appointments though. Consider staying closer to your appointment if you can.

If I come back to this property, I will ask for Stacey Potts to handle my reservation. She was very accommodating, and the hotel had several nice amenities. It’s a good area, and I needed to be near the NRG for my travel plans. Will definitely be back!

Wow. First hotel i have been to in a long time that did everything right.

It was okay, but they don't serve a free breakfast and they charged 10.00 extra for parking on top of the room, which is crazy in my opinion. Room was nice, comfortable and clean, probably wouldn't stay again because of the parking fee and no free breakfast.

Everything by was awesome! We did randomly find a clump of fake lashes on our sheets though, strange and super funny but not off putting! Thank you for your amazing service!

Try not to book to this hotel, staff are not cocern to their guest, not secured for parking, they don’t even bother to call you that your car got robbed at their parking lot, jan 23,2025 we book to this hotel for one night the next day our car broke the windows and 2 other more, but none of the staff even give us heads up even police already god there, not untill we check out, thats the time we saw our car door window is broken.. never really expect that this kind of hotel doesn’t have even cctv in their parking lot! Never ever gonna go back to this place, so, please don’t ever try to stay here better yet try to find somewhere else that has securty fos your safety..

Only stayed night due to early surgery. We arrived after 9 pm and were out by 5:30 am, so all we saw was lobby and bed. Shower was nice. Met requirements of our stay.

The Hotel is nearby the Medical Service Area. There are Parking Area and The Breakfast Service is not available.

We ALWAYS stay here when we have appointments at MD Anderson which is a testament to how much we like this hotel. It’s clean, good service and only a mile or two to MDA.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only problem was the parking. Apparently, they have started to lock the gate to the parking area but did not notify me that the gate would be locked or how to unlock it.

Overall it was excellent but the back access to the hotels doors did not work to enter the hotel and in the morning their was no hot water for the shower.

Road trip to Houston for the Texans game. Overall the hotel is fine and does the job - not a ton of frills. The upside: close to stadium, small bar at night / Starbucks in the morning, next to Kroger and lots of delivery options. Downside: slow elevators, rooms a little outdated, small TVs in room
