Hotel Regina

Fantastic hotel run by a wonderful family. Our room was VERY spacious with a balcony and another window. The water pressure was excellent. The bed was good as well. It was also pet-friendly at a very affordable cost (10 euro/night for our dog). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and felt welcomed from the start. The small parking lot next to the hotel was perfect for our car as well. It was nice and quiet while still very accessible to the Old Town. Not a bad thing - just for awareness, It's at the edge of Heidelberg old town, but the walk is very pleasant down the main pedestrian avenue. We would definitely stay here again!

Not 24 hours service and inconvenient to ask questions. They changed breakfast time suddenly to 7:30 without notice on one day that was inconvenient .

Need bigger fan for. Mid august

The room was perfectly equipped as a solo traveler. I had a little desk area to check my computer, a comfy bed, and a nice little bathroom. Everything was efficiently designed. The room had a mini bar with enough room to use as a refrigerator for a few items I wanted to keep cold. The staff was very friendly upon check-in, and I was able to add on a parking space to my reservation once I realized I would be renting a car. The location near the train station was very convenient. I caught the train one day, but it also was super easy to access the main street in Heidelberg and walk to the main attractions. Regina was a great value, super comfortable, with friendly staff at a great location. I woudl definitely recommend! I think I may have gotten a traffic ticket coming into town when the speed limit switched from 100 km to 70 km - even though I slowed down. The cameras are right at the sign - be careful! Probably my only negative to my Heidelberg visit!

Easy check-in process. A key was left in a locker due to the late arrival. My stay was literally just an overnight sleep due to the early morning flight, but everything was proper without issues. The definition of parking space is unclear. I was able to find parking spot on the street, but this requires some further description in order to understand parking availability.

The website said there was free parking, that's not the case. I was charged 15€ per night. I booked this place because it had free parking. There's no parking as advertised. And the blanket was small. No idea what was going on with that. It barely covers 1 person.

The room is large and clean. It is quiet. There are a sofa and some tables and chairs in the room. Showerroom is also large and clean. Stuff are all friendly. Breakfast is very good. They kindly kept my baggage before checking in and checking out. It is located near Bismarckplatz and is close to the old city. I felt a little bit cold but the heater did not work. (I did not know how to use it and stuff was not in the hotel in the night) The blind was closed outside of the windows and I did not know how to open it.

Nice location. Easy access. We probably should have read the site better. But no elevator, no airco, no coffee maker, no parking was a bit of a letdown.

I like it all. A small quite, Clean Hotel and Very accomodating Staff.?

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable and clean room, top location. We will visit it again, for sure:)
