The rooms were very nice. The bathroom was beautiful. The pool was fantastic. The whole compound was great. It was a bit out of the way but nice and quiet and didnt take long to walk up to the main road. The walk was along a very nice cute path with some restaurants etc and reminded us of Europe. Cant really say much was wrong or we didn't like but next time we would stay somewhere different just to be in a different area. Maybe if you have small children understand that the rooms are completely separate and not connected or next to each other. They are on opposite sides of the compound. Kids 10 and up would love it.

The staff at the villa very lovely and always willing to help us. The villa was very clean and our stay was comfortable. The breakfast options were great as there was an option for everyone. The villa is a little further in so if you did not want to walk or weather not permitting then you would need to be dropped off/picked up by staff at the car park which they were always willing and happy to do.

The location was near ubud center and the staff were so nice and accommodating.

It was nicely maintained and staff was very courteous 1. Not accessible by car. The staff will come and pick you from the nearby centre during their working hours. 2. No retaurant. However will arrange the meal you pre selected. 3. We saw a small reptile in the bathroom as it was open and had big plants. But this was not reported as we somehow wanted to leave the property.

The "room" was well equipped and private but also had a comfy porch in a lush garden and beautiful pool. While there, my husband had a scooter accident and the staff ran to his aid and arranged a Dr visit & got him to Dr immediately...also providing me with transportation too. They waited for us & got us back as well. Their actions were over and above expectations! If you're looking for a high-end American hotel with room service & anonymity it's not the place. But if you're interested in a real beautiful Balinese experience with gorgeous "digs" and lovely people, integrated in their community this is the place. We loved it and wished we booked more days there! Ubud is much larger than we imagined and there are few sidewalks so it isn't easy to walk to the town center. Although it wouldn't be hard to get a taxi or scooter ride there.

An incredible stay. Starting with the staff — I loved all of them. Everyone was so helpful, honest, and kind. It was incredibly beautiful for the price The beds were super comfortable.

My recent stay at Villa D'Uma started off beautifully, with stunning views and comfortable accommodations. The ambiance of Ubud is truly enchanting. However, our experience took a disappointing turn when my wife discovered that her gold wedding ring was stolen. i ask them about locker but they said its transfer to different room. they didn't provide me any locker. On the first night, she took off her ring and placed it on the coffee table, which had an open space. Unfortunately, someone from the staff came in later that night to switch off the lights, and after we noticed the ring was missing, we couldn't help but feel that one of them might have taken it. While the villa itself is lovely and the location is serene, this incident cast a shadow over our stay. I hope the management addresses security concerns to prevent similar situations for future guests. Despite the unfortunate theft, the overall hospitality was decent, but it’s hard to overlook the loss of something so personal. the picture with coffee table with room i provided. car can't go inside. but they transport with motorbike to main road. they carry luggage with their motorbike. its about 10 to 15 minutes walk from villa to main road. with motor bike about 4 to 6 minutes ride. the toilet is in open space. when rain we carry a umbrella to go toilet.

Food is good Dirt

Villa D’Uma in Ubud was a fantastic stay. The villa was beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and nature. The private pool was a highlight, providing a peaceful and relaxing escape. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. The location was great—peaceful yet still close enough to Ubud’s main attractions.

The floating breakfast was a great touch and made the experience even more memorable

Beautiful place in quiet nieghbourhood but only 20 minutes walk from busy Ubud city center. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would love to stay there again while in Ubud.

Outstanding breakfast - really lots of delicious food. Very tidy and beautiful garden with a pool. Lovely little villas away from the crowd but just a step away from restaurants and massage spas. Lovely staff. Very good price for what you get.

Well looked after. A little out of the way down back lanes. Picked up and taken to Villa on scooter and dropped up to driver on scooter when needed. Lots of little eating places near by Friendly helpful staff Nice pool, comfy beds, very private with lovely gardens.
