Lovely staff and amazing food. All good

I arrived late in the evening. The staff came and greeted myself and my guests with a cold beverage. We were impressed at the cleanliness. The hospitality was second to none. We only had toast and bacon for breakfast before we went out for the day. I would definitely stay again. If I would complain it would be the steps going up to my villa. However I managed just fine.

Nice pool, good breakfast. Very quite place to chill out Not so many options for dinner, but there are many good places to eat nearby. So no problem.

Breakfast was amazing, variety and always in time. Everything was amazing, I would love just the bathrooms to be cleaner better.

The staff were lovely. Hospitable, kind and helpful, in true Balinese style. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The access roads are terrible. There's one access for cars and one for two-wheelers, each only just narrow enough to fit one vehicle at a time. There isn't too much within walking distance so I relied on Grab/ Gojek scooters to get around. The facilities are dated compared to the photos. The rooms are only accessible by steps so bear this in mind if you have accessibility issues/ large bags. I didn't meet any other guests in 3 days but I think someone checked into the room above me on the last night because the roof and walls would shudder with every step they took. The fan wasn't working and the hairdryer gave me an electric shock. This is probably my fault for not reading carefully but considering the very steep price, I thought I'd have a villa with my own pool.

The 'Prem' room I stayed in was great, very comfortable, however, if you are looking for somewhere quiet to retreat, this is not the place to stay. There were two dogs living at the property that barked through the night and one even slept outside my door, which was quite intimidating. The dogs also lingered around the eating space which seemed very inappropriate and also made me uncomfortable, particularly when spending $200 per night. The property didn't meet my expectations, it is not exactly as advertised on their website. I ended up checking out of this accommodation early as the other rooms were not as advertised, missing furniture and not appealing for a retreat. If you are looking for somewhere scenic and beautiful to stay in Ubud I would avoid this place, you are best to put the money toward one of the nicer hotels close by. Staff seemed to be very inexperienced and not very helpful either. The massage space was not set up for treatments and was very messy.
