On the day of my arrival, I called the front desk of Candlewood Suites to inform of the addition of my service dog to my reservation. After a few questions about the characteristics of my dog, his status was noted on my reservation. So, both on our arrival and during our stay, we were treated with respect and friendliness, which impressed me. So I will gladly return to Candlewood Suites with my dog on future trips to Fort Worth.

Honestly, there wasn’t a single aspect of the stay that met my expectations. This was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room had a very unpleasant smell from the moment I walked in, and the condition of the room overall felt neglected. My bed sheets even had a blood stain on them, which was unacceptable. The towels were by far the worst I’ve ever used in a hotel, they were extremely rough, thin, and dry, nothing close to what you would expect for the price paid. The service was also very disappointing. The staff felt cold and unhelpful, and they weren’t even able to provide fresh towels to the room when requested. Another major issue was housekeeping. The hotel does not clean rooms daily like a normal hotel, but only once a week, and this was not clearly communicated upfront. Unfortunately, the smell and overall cleanliness of the property reflected that policy. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

The beds were great and room was quiet. Only complaint was the water pressure was not very good in the shower and the room could have used a little more light.

The location was ok. The place was dirty. The maids seemed lazy. There were wrappers & trash on the floor in the hallways. It looked like the maids on the 4th floor rarely swept the carpets. The level we stayed on had trash & filth on the floor the whole 2 weeks we were there. Our room wasn’t well cleaned either & things were broken. The shower rack was broken & the curtain wouldn’t stay put because it looked like someone had pulled on it because it jiggled around & the microwave handle was broken. The staff at the front desk was generally rude except for one redhead which was sweet. Felt safe, comfortable rooms, ac in 410 was ice cold so we slept great, awesome kitchen and perfect to save money when traveling for softball team. We will absolutely stay her again!

The check-in staff member was extremely kind and helpful! I really appreciate that the incidentals hold was only $25, as some hotels take too much of a hold. The room was very clean. Everytign worked properly. Location is safe and quiet.

There was a large roach on the ceiling above the bed. The room was humid and musty. Clean otherwise, but still felt gross like a musty sauna. Left the ac running all night, never cooled off till check out. Definitely will not stay here again.

Keys woukdn't work. Everytime we left the room staff had to let us in. It backed up our NYE plans over an hour with all the upstairs/back down to the desk and repeat, waiting for staff to then come to let us in. Then on New Year's Day, maintenance knocks on our door just after 9am to reprogram the door. NOT cool. When checking out, I asked for a discount for all the inconvenience and the early unnecessary rousting knock way before check out and was told nothing could be done. We use this property regularly and won't be back.

We checked in on 12/22 on a personal visit to family for the holidays. On 12/24 at approximately 8:30 am requested for the room to be touched up, particularly for towels and making the bed. As the hotel site on Expedia lists daily housekeeping, we figured maybe it was a requested service and it had not been done the day before. We returned late on the 24th and room had not been serviced, but the window was opened, leaving the room extremely humid and uncomfortable. As we came back to the room on the 25th we asked for towels. The clerk asked us to bring the used ones down. In all my stays, I have never been asked to do this. I have been asked to put them outside the door for housekeeping to pick them up on rounds. As we were in this conversation, my partner asked if there was a way to check if the room had been serviced, and the clerk didn’t have a means to do that. He pulled a check sheet but didn’t see any info for our room. In today’s era that to be true. Ultimately we left early because we felt dismissed and not cared for as a guest.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, comfortable, the best A/C system we have ever encountered. Parking was well lit. The only draw back was the slow elevator and waiting on luggage carriers during peak check out time but otherwise pleasantly pleased with the overall experience. We will definitely utilize Candlewood Suites again for our future needs!

Not much! The room smelled bad (moldy, old), the a/c in the living room never cooled, the remote in bedroom didn’t work, never could connect to wi-fi, the charging station in parking lot “offline!”

Hotel is nice, I was surprised that the bathtub still had long hairs in it. I just used a cup to rinse it and was only taking a shower otherwise everything seemed clean.

I do wish this place offered late checkout..we got there at 2 am and it would have been nice to get a little more sleep before checkout at 11. The park behind the hotel was excellent to take my 2 dogs out for a little walk before we left.

We enjoyed our week long stay at Candlewood suites. It had everything we needed and was a great value. Highly recommend staying here! And we will be here again next time we have to come to Fort Worth.

This property fit the bill with the every 8 day of your stay cleaning service. Allowed my cat to have a calm environment and he was happy. So we were happy as well. Beds were soft but firm which for my fiancé and her bad back was very supportive to good sleep each night.

The building and people were super nice. Our softball team stayed there, and everyone's rooms had cockroaches. One of our dads woke up with a cockroach on his toothbrush head. I don't leave bad reviews often and just hope that you guys can get someone to take care of this issue.

Always enjoy staying in this hotel during the stock show. We normally don’t have a lot of time at the hotel besides sleeping, but normally the people are very hospitable and not much noise. It was a little different this time because our TV didn’t work and the people above us obviously had small children running around. That made things a little uncomfortable, but otherwise great!

Very comfortable place to stay, not fancy but nice and clean, the only suggestion is that it could use more luggage carts, none were available so we had to carry all our stuff, they only have two carts, was able to snag one on checkout however

The room was clean and updated enough for my taste, though not completely modern. In addition, they had many little benefits that we don't see much these days, like complimentary laundry. No pool, no free breakfast, but they do hand out complimentary packets of oatmeal. I loved the place and will definitely be a frequent customer as occasion calls for it.

I’m sorry to say but the beds were so bad. I’m very active at 55 and don’t require a lot of sleep so the quality matters. My back was so sore. And me and my husband had to sleep in separate beds on the edge due to sinking in the hole. I dont understand why hotels do not have beds that are quality. What is the purpose of a Hotel?? To get a great nights sleep!! Secondly aa clean room. This room was so dirty. I wiped up water off floor the towel was black. Thirdly the other stuff. Please clean and have good beds!!

I liked the location, easy central point to where I needed to go. I did not like that I had to request fresh towels and get the towels for the room. The room was not checked daily for trash or fresh sheets and towels.

Check in was late and we needed to get to a wedding. Barely made it to the wedding in time!!! Need to work on check in being at correct time. Also, no coffee in the room so I had to go downstairs to get coffee 😩 otherwise the staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this hotel and we were very happy with everything. Just behind the hotel is a walking path around Veterans park. It is well lit and nice after riding in a car all day. The kitchen was equipped with microwave, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster and a cook top. The hotel is clean and the personnel were courteous.

My check out experience was fine. The lady at the front desk was professional and personable. The hotel has a lot of dining options nearby for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at a variety of price points. There is convenient shopping nearby, if a person needs to pickup grocery, clothing, or any type of item. The only suggestion I have is shower curtains should not be made out of cloth. Shower curtains should be made out of plastic or other material that water will not go through when you take a shower. Although I had the bottom of the shower curtain inside the tub, water still got on the floor.

Overall, a decent stay for what we spent. A couple of issues - both toilet paper rolls were close to empty when we arrived, causing us to have to go downstairs for a roll of toilet paper. Not a big deal, just a minor annoyance. The room came with a sofa bed and we wanted to use it. Most hotels I have stayed in had the sheets and blanket in the room. Here I had to go downstairs to request. Again, not a big deal, just minor annoyance. The sofa cushions had several stains on them and could use a good cleaning. Overall, not bad.

They say extended stay , no cleaning for 7 days , hard to get towels

Other than road noise from the highway it was fantastic. And honestly nothing you can do about that. Nice clean and friendly!

Great place to stay, friendly staff, central location, nice quiet and comfortable rooms.

Room was clean and fresh and particularly liked the full kitchen in the room. Also enjoyed the fitness center

Front desk was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed it the room. It was not clean the bed had stuff in-between the sheets the stand next to bed had something sticky on it.. the bathroom counter had hair. It just wasn't cleaned the proper way. Once I told front desk about it she immediately gave me a new room.

We checked in our first night, staff gave us our keys(card) noticed they charged us the extra person fee after clearly seeing and checking in only 2 people so I had to call and get that taken off. We settled in snd about 11 pm was woken up by someone unlocking our door with a key card and opening our door. Scared us to death. I called the front desk and her answer was i don’t know what happened and i left a note for our manager.. that was it. I called the front desk the next morning and talked to the manager and got a I'm sorry but what do you want me to do about it. I was pissed to say the least. I tried to tell him how bad it could have turned out and seriously he didn’t think it was a big deal. Needless to say we weee safe and thankfully the people who got a key to our room were nice and turned their key in right away. But the dismissivness of the staff was disgusting. Would not ever stay there again and would never recommend that particular hotel to anyone staying in Fort Worth! They keyed another key to our room and didn’t think it was a big deal!!

Check-in was easy, the front desk staff friendly, the room was clean, and there was coffee in the room for when I woke up in the morning. Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Thanks!

Staff gave us another room. They switched rooms. Room smelled like a smoking room even that we asked for a non-smoking. Staff didn’t help to solve the problem. There were roaches on the room. We book another room and the smell to fresh paint was terrible. They said all rooms were like that and couldn’t do nothing about it. They were cleaning the rooms on our time and we lost our time to study for a presentation. We needed it to wait on the lobby even though it wasnt our fault. Definitely, not booking again.

I paid too much for this stay that included too limited of outside parking, no breakfast, no pool, and unprofessional staff. Big disappointment.

Excellent staff. Friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and more than we expected. Would gladly stay again.

We booked 2 nights. Unfortunately the location we stayed at did not mention they undergoing renovations. We were on the 2nd floor and they were painting the floors above us and the fumes made us leave the evening of our 2nd night.

Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with our stay. The room was dirty. The beds were clean and made and new towels hanging but that was the extent. The floor had tons of debris on it, and not just small particles of stuff, chunks of food, pieces of trash from a tissue box, and dirt. There was a really old dish of food in the microwave and the countertops and surfaces weren't wiped down, silverware was dirty. There were no kitchen linens. I nicely asked the front desk the next morning to send someone up to remedy it with full details of issues and she responded that she would see if they could because they were busy. I then suggested I could be moved to a clean room. They ended up sending someone in and they did sweep some of the large stuff off the floor and wiped some things down but not well and the food in the microwave is probably still there today. I did encounter one cleaner and she was really nice and courteous but overall I was really disappointed.

Great hotel. Great friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. No breakfast but on a plus, the laundry facility was free.

My room key had to be programmed 2x so inconvinece from the higher floors back down to the lower lobby. The water pressure was weak.
