Also there was a drilling job being done, we were not made aware. It kept going all afternoon, each time I called the front desk they would only say…”they should stop shortly” … it was really loud. Food was good, gym was good, pool was good and spa staff was awesome. Property location was great!

The pool area was windy and cold, but stunning, we will be back for a summer staycation! Valet was $60, not a surprise, but expensive still

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. The greatest benefit was the proximity to American airlines center. It made our attending a concert easy and stress-free. Well the hotel was clean and comfortable, many of the amenities were visibly old and outdated. It looked like some updates had been made, but the beds were very worn in and most of the furniture in the room had chips and cracks in it.

The hotel was friendly and inviting, and the staff was great. The amenities around the hotel are awesome and we had an amazing time.

The hotel was in a perfect location, adjacent to the American Airlines Center. It's in a very walkable area (be prepared for office building construction) with lots of restaurant choices and parking around the hotel. The employees throughout the hotel (reception, concierge services, luggage and parking assistance, the hotel's restaurant managers and waitstaff were all helpful, friendly, knowledgable, and quite accommodating. The room was very comfortably sized with plenty of storage and lots of light coming in through the very large picture windows. We plan on coming back and staying again.

Overall a 10/10. Everyone was kind, and the room was amazing. Super close to American Airlines Center so it was perfect for the Stars game too! Will be back!

They should really consider changing out the shower heads to something more useful. The shower head in my unit was a little bent forward. I’m also a little OCD and hate leaving soap on the walls when I shower. Can’t spray the soap off the walls with an overhead shower. Horrible design if you ask me.

Location of the hotel and the front desk assistance was great Interior design of the room is older and not fresh. At 11:00 in the morning there was no hot water… I tried to call the front desk with the phone in the room, but it does not work… So I used my cell phone to call the front desk and an hour later they restored hot water to the room with no real apology. or refund. I was told by the front desk that nobody else has complained of this problem… That seems difficult to believe.

The staff was very courteous and kind. They provided a bottle of champagne as we were celebrating our anniversary!!

The room has a balcony with 0 furniture, how am I going to enjoy the view and outdoor balcony if theres no seating. The room when you first walk in opens into the restroom with 0 privacy. I dont know if Diddy helped them with the floor layout but its cringe walking into your room to only see the entire restroom. The shower doesnt even have a door, the shower head has literally no pressure. I went with a party of 2 to eat at their restaurant only to find a piece of their porcelain plate in the food. I was informed they dont have their iconic bar open anymore. This was a big reason why we stayed here. The spa was so busy we could not make a reservation for the entire day. For a $500+ room I expect better quality of services.

Very nice hotel. The bed, sheets, and pillows were so comfortable. We had a view of the American Airline Center. We attended the Mavs game that night. It was very convenient to simply walk across the street to attend the game.

Location to AA center was the reason we selected this hotel. The valet parking staff was outstanding, very professional and accommodating It started at check in when my reservation was questioned. Hotel said they had 2 reservations in my name one was paid in advance the other not. The hotel did not want to recognize the paid reservation. I spent the next hour + working with Ticketmaster to straighten things out. The hotel is clearly understaffed in the restaurant and bar. We had a late lunch, 3:00 ish and it took almost 20 minutes to be acknowledged and order

My mom and I stared here in late July because Jin of BTS had a concert at the American Airlines Center. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel - to say we had a terrific stay would be an understatement. We chose the hotel because it was right across the street from the venue, but our stay was made even better by the terrifically helpful and kind staff, the lovely rooms, and the surrounding area of the property. As BTS fans, we were also delighted by how kind and accommodating everyone was to us, and how welcoming they were, so that was a lovely bonus. This was a great place to stay, and we'd gladly come back even without an event to go to. Highly recommend!

The staff were friendly and helped me with requested accommodations. Excellent stay! I wish the bar area was open sooner than 3:00pm. I went across the street at local restaurant to have a cocktail before concert event.

For a kind stuido suite at over $600/ night the couch was tirn and the dining room table looked like it had a few too many bachelor parties on it. We asked for a different room, inly to find out we were in the 3rd floor and every car that had loud exhaust wanted it to echo off of every building neaby.

Loved the location. Did not like that they asked us to leave my husbands gun in the truck being valet. We are in Texas AND downtown Dallas… paying for a room. He has is license to carry!

Gorgeous hotel with bright colors and a nice modern look. Located a single block away from the American Airlines stadium, close to Dealey Plaza and a ton of restaurants. Had a minor issue with cleanliness and the manager showed true care and tried her best to take care of it in anyway she could. Room service was delicious also. Minor cleanliness issue

We absolutely loved our time here. It was so fun and convenient for the Stars game. The bartenders were so friendly and the overall atmosphere had such a great vibe. We will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel was under construction so it was less than a luxurious stay, from a lackluster check-in to the entire stay. It felt like I was in a construction zone. Not my typical W experience and not worth the $$$ I paid.

The hotel and room was nice. We waiting for a bit upon arrival for valet which is understandable as they get busy so no big deal. Hotel was accommodating of an early check in as well. Pool deck was also really nice. Bed was uncomfortable, we left our breakfast selections on the door to be picked (well before the 2am cutoff) up for a 7:30 AM delivery. The cards were never picked up the night before and was still on the door at 7:30 AM when we checked. We then went down to the hotel lobby for coffee which was out. There was no one else around except for two ladies working the front desk talking and seemed bothered to have to refill it so we just left and went to Starbucks instead. We dined at Villa Azur and the food was pretty disappointing for the price. Everything was super salty and tasted premade and came out way too quickly to be made fresh. The lava tiramisu was definitely not made as I actually bit into a piece of the plastic wrapper. I booked this hotel back in April for me and my wife to have a nice weekend away and overall the stay was blah. I have no desire to ever stay here again. I thought the W was a well known high end hotel and honestly have had much better stays in hotels a 1/4 of the price of this one. I also noticed a pending charge on my card from the hotel for the room even after I had already paid for it through Expedia. The Hotel is telling me it can take a week or more to be refunded due to their mistake. To much mismanagement going on here. Do better

I also noticed a pending charge on my card from the hotel for the room even after I had already paid for it through Expedia. The Hotel is telling me it can take a week or more to be refunded due to their mistake. To much mismanagement going on here. Do better

We booked a room with 2 beds and upon our arrival at 2am were told they “unfortunately gave that room away accidentally.” They gave us a room with one bed for 4 people for 3 days and provide no compensation at all.

The hotel was great, safe and secure. The only complaint is that the a/c in the room wasn’t working. Also i had prepaid while booking via the hotels.com app and was still charged for the amount of $908.96. I was told it would be refunded in a couple of days. The staff were very nice and accommodating!

Room was great. Quiet and clean. Valet service was quite slow.Ate breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel. Waited 7 min before the hostess acknowledged me and got me a table. Staff was very slow and disorganized. Ordered an omelet and toast but toast come out 5 min after my omelet! Would not eat there again.

Double billed me. And wasted an hour of my time to get the charges reversed.

Very nice room in a very convenient location to attend the game across the street. Great stay except that our window was so filthy we could barely see out of it.

The stay was amazing very accommodating. However, i was charged again for my stay although i paid through Hotels.com. In total i was charged over $1400 after i had already paid over $900 in advance for my stay. The manager was very understanding and assured the issue is being corrected. Onging as of now. The Spa was CHEFS KISS

First room, they attempted to put me in, had a "balcony" that was next to construction work being performed and you could see the dust. Second room, they put me in had not been cleaned. Yes, sent me to an unmade dirty room. Third room, had torn couches, electrical outlets you couldn't plug anything in and a TV that wouldn't change channels so you had to listen to Asian DJs talk about how wonderful the W is (in other countries). I had not been to the W in quite some time and it has slipped dramatically. I will never book with a W if possible.

Overall our stay was great. However the lobby is being redone, so that was not optimal. Also construction is going on right next to the property.

Easy to walk to the American Airlines Center to catch a sporting event, concert, or other event.

Was on the third floor and the hammering was constant from about 8am on. For $500 a night - it was absurd. When I called the front desk and asked to speak to a manager, I was told he would call me back - he never did.

The notice of the construction in the lobby was starkly inaccurate of the sounds and effects. It sounded like there was work being done in the room upstairs. We could hear the tools and the workers and all the banging. We woke up thinking someone was trying to break in the room. The notice did not mention how loud and piercing there sounds were. I was told that the employees also had to deal with it when I am the guest. Also when we returned after the Madonna show, there was no elevator service and the staff wouldn’t let us use the stairs while there were more than 50 people gathering plus more coming from the show. I am shocked at the attitude of “deal with it.” I was told a manager would call me and never did.

The room was very nice but for that price per night the beds were horrible! I expected a bed I did not want to get out of not one I couldnt wait to get out of. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

The interior looked pretty average. It looks like they were doing some remodeling, so I didn’t see a whole lot beyond the lobby on the first floor. There’s a bar right across from the front desk, which looked really nice inside. I had a room on the third floor with a king sized bed. I’ve stayed in hotels that were far less expensive that looked nicer. The way the room was set up was very odd. You open your door and step into the bathroom/ front entrance. That room is divided by a curtain (?!?) and and giant door/mirror/divider. The king sized mattress needed to be swapped out with a new one, because the springs in the side I slept on were worn out and I could sink down into. We ordered breakfast via the card you fill out and hang on the outside of your door by 2 am, and my order was incorrect. They had two extra dishes we didn’t order and the two omelets we did order were prepared with the wrong ingredients. We ordered a large pot of coffee and got a small/medium sized French press that we got 3 whole cups of coffee out of. The breakfast ended up costing $77, so that was very disappointing. All in all, I’ve stayed at much worse and better hotels. To me, this was an average hotel, at best that I would not recommend to anyone else. There are much better options available in the area.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location for an event at America Airlines Arena. Food options and movie theater walkable. Checkin at 4pm is on the later side of most hotels. Valet helpful.

Hotel was nice and convenient for the concert location. The bed was really hard. It wasn’t as comfy as I was expecting from a Marriott location

Parking situation was terrible and not communicated by anybody. Elevator buttons all broken. Very loud. Just did not get moneys worth for the price. Have had nicer experiences at a holiday inn. Guy at the front desk was awesome, only positive.

Now the positives. Restuarant while very expensive was fantastic as too the food. Service was good as well but we were about the only people in there. The pool was very nice and had fun. The staff were awesome.
