The hotel is fine, but not great. I stay at Fairmont's all around the world and this just isn’t up to that standard. It’s a fine 4* hotel and the price reflects that, but it falls short of other Fairmont properties. Staff were great, restaurant was ok, location good.

Excellent hotel in Dallas downtown with a great pool.
- 3/5
I really expected more from a “luxury hotel”. The water pressure was awful. The pool bar is only open Thursday-Sunday (didn’t say that anywhere on the website) with very limited hours. There’s no water available without astronomical purchase prices. The ice machines were broken every time we went to get ice. Housekeeping didn’t bring enough towels even with asking every day for more. The temperature of the room was warm and despite the thermostat being accessible, it seemed locked in on a set temp. The pool deck was an actual hazard. It is so slippery and I can’t imagine deemed safe. I fell and watched 3 other people in two days fall hard. The restaurant was just randomly closed on more than one occasion and the back up option is the bar with a very limited and unimpressive menu (though the staff was lovely). I was really underwhelmed, disappointed, and would never book again.

BOI at the front desk kicked off the wonderful stay at the Fairmont hotel! Staff was amazing and the Rose 31 lotions and bath shampoo/conditioner/gel is worth another visit for just that. Price was steep for valet, but we parked 2 blocks away at self parking for half the cost. Can't wait to come back!

Good location in the downtown area. Very comfortable rooms. It was definitely worth upgrading to the gold package with the lounge access. The food was outstanding & very plentiful. The staff at reception were very accommodating & let us have a late check out, we were very appreciative as we had a late night flight home. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel staff was courteous and kind throughout my stay. When I checked out, I left my personal items (a dress and shoes) in the closet. I called back and spoke with the concierge, Darrell, and he was excellent in getting my items to my friend, who brought them home to me. This is a top-tier property with a well-trained staff.

From the check in to check-out, it was a good experience. Particularly notable were the staff-- the valets, front desk, and consierge-- all pleasant, professional, and helpful. Finally, we were impressed that they have level-2 charging available for our EV. The valets even plugged our car in, soon after our arrival, ensuring it was fully charged when next we needed it--how incredibly thoughtful.

We went to Breakfast the next morning but waited for a host to seat us only to find out from a server that the wait will be 10 to 15 minutes. If you don’t have a host, inform the servers to please make eye contact to those in line. We left and walked down the street to The Henry restaurant. Awesome place.

Looked at a lot of options to stay downtown to attend a concert at Dos Equis. Picked the Fairmont and it was perfect for what we needed for one night. Close to the venue, nice pool and they upgraded us to a suite upon check in. The price was very reasonable and we valet the car. The city views were really terrific, the Starbucks for morning coffee was very convenient. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We would stay there again. Thanks!

The hotel property is fine-the lighting in the bathroom is horrible and size of the bathroom is too small for a junior suite. Didn’t replenish creamer and toilet paper. Have stayed in numerous Fairmont properties, both on Gold and normal rooms, and have had great experiences-this didn’t look/feel like a Fairmont property.

The property was clean and staff were very nice however the hotel is outdated and our room was very hot. Granted we did stay on the 17th floor but I also expected the room to be nicer since I paid an upgrade. They did say they would be updating/remodeling soon. Will come back just might not pay the extra for the upgrade/lounge.

Very friendly and efficient staff. The valet was quick even though there was an event that day and the volume of cars was high. The room was clean and spacious. Location in the center of Dallas was great. We were able to walk to most of the restaurants in the area. You will definitely need a car to get around outside the immediate Dallas area (traffic is a nightmare). The hotel is a bit older than I expected. The large window in our room on the 21st floor wasn't sound proof. Unable to open the window to allow fresh air in the room. No ventilation in the bathroom. We were in the South Tower and could hear the automobiles on the surrounding roads and highways 24 hours a day.

I would like to highlight the outstanding service provided by your Chef Concierge, Mr. Philip Powell. He was exceptionally kind and attentive, especially toward our children, and truly represented your property in the best possible way. His service made a lasting positive impression on our stay. Unfortunately, our experience with the valet parking manager left a very poor impression. While we were waiting on the street to enter the valet area, a white vehicle passed our car at high speed, missing us by only an inch or two. The driver then swerved slightly to avoid a collision but still struck the mirror of another parked vehicle behind the driveway entrance. The car then reversed and parked in the hotel’s valet area. When I approached the driver to address the situation, I pointed out that he had nearly hit our vehicle and had in fact hit another. He responded in an arrogant manner, asking, “Did I hit your car?” When I asked to speak with a manager, he stated that he himself was the manager and claimed the situation had already been resolved. I asked whether the owner of the impacted vehicle would be notified, but did not receive a clear answer. His overall demeanor and response reflected poorly on your establishment. Despite my concerns, he stated he had been doing this job for eight years and did not acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. I also made it clear that I was uncomfortable having him handle my vehicle. He offered to waive the valet charge for the night, which I initially declined, but he insisted.

Convenient location. Comfortable clean room.
- 4/5
This is very much an older hotel that is in need of updates. The rooms are nice sized and it was fine for a weekend day. It was very convenient. I was in a safe area, but there were just things like peeling paint and wallpaper and things like that and you know it’s an older property, but the things that they did to try to Band-Aid, it were noticeable.
- 5/5
Exceptional service from front of house to house keeping. Super friendly staff, spotless facility.
- 3/5
Old building, rooms are ok! Front desk staff at check in not helpful at all. Philip at concierge was amazing!
- 1/5
Upon settling in for the evening, we attempted to turn the tv on and it continued to have issues and would sporadically go off and have massive static waves across the entire screen. After calling the front desk, they offered zero help other than to give us a restaurant credit (we already had our breakfast included) and had very little empathy for the situation. Highly disappointed by this property considering it is a Fairmont!
- 5/5
Room was spacious, we didn't hear other doors slamming, we didn't hear the elevator whine through the night and there wasn't a convention on our floor. It was a good night of rest.
- 2/5
The staff member that checked us in was extremely rude. She was messing up something on their end that wasn’t allowing my boyfriend’s card to go through. She treated him like he didn’t have money to pay even though we showed the account had more than sufficient to cover it. Only one elevator was working on one of the side sides of the hotel which was very inconvenient considering they had debutant ball event there that weekend and weddings. The room was dirty and smelled weird as well. We had stayed there several times before but we will not return!
- 4/5
Bed was super comfy, room was large. I agree with a lot of the commentary that the rooms & furnishings were outdated and need a little facelift. I had a few issues on my 1st night/morning- a wonky shower head, tv connection, ordered breakfast for takeout and was not given the right food, and there were a few issues with the in-room toiletries. Their SM service was communicative and helpful and resolved everything. Overall was happy with the stay- the concierge was great (every single person I encountered. See above

The staff is wonderful! Great bar, good but small gym, excellent restaurant but the hotel needs a refresh. The rooms are very dated.
- 5/5
one of my coworkers had an unfortunate encounter with a staff member . My coworker was outside and was asked by a pedestrian for a lighter . They moved off the property after a staff member pointed out that this was not allowed. However, after my coworker returned the staff member confronted him and threatened to report him for " inciting violence". When my coworker reported that to the front desk the staff member denied his threats. The incident left a bad after-taste.

The location is great and the staff was wonderful. My only complaint is parking, but what are ya going to do. I would stay here again.
- 3/5
We were told the parking garage was for valet only. Valet costed an extra $60 PER NIGHT. We normally don’t ever use valet. We were told that if we don’t use valet then parking would be at our discretion. There was no other parking close by so basically we were forced to do the valet. We just weren’t expecting to pay an extra $120 plus tips for our stay and that was frustrating.

the elevators were broken during our entire stay and there was no real sense of urgency to fix that -- even though there are over 20 floors in the south tower. I was also called Mr. Page by whatever concierge was texting me throughout my stay -- not in a transphobic way, but in a "a man must be paying for this even though this is clearly a woman's name on the res and credit card" kind of way. Also the AC didn't work and the valet was an absolute nightmare. The hotel is gorgeous and in a great location but it was a miserable 2 nights.

The room could use some work. The entire structure of the hotel is old, as well as the style of the room. There was rust and grim in the shower because of how old the room was. It was not worth the price they charged. Valet parking is a scam. I didn’t even stay a full night in the hotel. They held my car for maybe 8 hours, claimed Valet was $56, but they charged an extra $100 to my card on file. No valet parking is worth that, especially if I didn’t even stay a full night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone nor would I ever book to stay in this hotel again.

Room was excellent! Lobby staff was excellent! Valet on the other hand could use some work in communicating in a hospitable way. I was met with attitude and wasn’t pleased. Other than that loved my stay!

Paid for a suite. Got to the room and. O trash bags in the bins. Hair in the tub and used coffee mugs in the drink area. Hotel was beautiful but room terribly prepped and no one answered the front desk phone
- 5/5
The stay was great. They got us in early and the room was clean

Friendly staff and beautiful room.
- 5/5
Wonderful experience all around! Very clean. Every staff member spoke to us and took the time to engage in short conversations.

Great stay everyone was wonderful. I would come back again.

We booked rooms for our daughter’s 21st birthday. The hotel was beautiful (especially for the holidays) and we loved our stay. Very clean and great location.
- 5/5
We have stayed here for a NYE staycation the past two years. Fireworks are a breeze 15 min walk, dinner is an 8 minute walk. Staff is amazing! Room spotless.
- 3/5
Very outdated rooms for the prices you pay to stay there….
- 5/5
This is our favorite hotel in Dallas. The food could be better. The staff is outgoing and friendly. I highly recommended this property
- 2/5
Firstly I’ll start by saying that the customer service was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff. The room we were in was old dark and did not smell good. The shower was very old and the shower curtains had mold. Pictures of the rooms on Expedia do not match what you actually get. Overall I give this place a 5 out of 10.
- 4/5
Staff was wonderful
- 5/5
We did not eat breakast
- 5/5
Excellent service oriented hotel and very clean and nice all around
- 2/5
Staff was GREAT!
- 5/5
Our room was very, very nice. It was clean and well decorated.
- 3/5
The staff in the amenities was absolute amazing…. But the rooms are clearly dated, had a stale smell, the world’s most uncomfortable beds, and no one had stayed in our room in quite some time. The coffee, drinks, and snacks in the room were expired. I would not call this a luxurious hotel based off the room alone.
- 4/5
Exhaust fan in bathroom was not working. HVAC unit was way to loud.
- 3/5
No parking for paying guest on property, got scammed into valet with surprise charges. Rooms could be nicer & not well maintained. Front desk was not very friendly. Staff on property was talking about how lady working in gift shop takes multiple breaks & steals items. Only good thing was the Starbucks on property.
- 5/5
Everyone and everything was excellent

I love old school service. Real bathroom products. The guys out front were wonderful, too.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel, very friendly staff, well located and close to all museums
- 5/5
Hotel Overall is a bit dated but staff makes up for it!
- 5/5
Lobby beautiful! Adjoining rooms were so perfect traveling with my senior mother. Bar food and service was excellent. We enjoyed 2 night.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing! Room was clean and the staff was super nice we really enjoyed our stay! Pillows were nice and soft….room COULD have been a bit colder, it was too warm for me and I bumped it down to 60 which did nothing to cool the room down.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Enjoyed a little staycation. Stuff was great and made nice gestures for my birthday.

Common areas were great! Room was dated, felt dirty and in the need of remodeling. Took forever to get my car from valet. Most likely my one and only stay here.

Great location in downtown Dallas. Very kind and friendly staff . Hotel is a little worn. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Cleaning was delayed and wet dirty towels were left in the room after cleaning. Liquid soap was not refilled and ran out. Little things but not 5 star.

- 3/5
Didn’t like the smell.
- 5/5
it was a great time at the Fairmont hotel, Dallas tx
- 4/5
Staff was nice. The hotel is a bit worn in the lobby area and carpets and such. The staff is great. Bed was comfortable but could use some upgrades:)
- 3/5
I have stayed at Fairmont hotels before and I am truly surprised this is a Fairmont because it is not on brand at all. The lobby was tastefully decorated in holiday decor.
- 5/5
Clean Room only issue NO Microwave.
- 4/5
The service was excellent but the room smelled like cigarette smoke and they were out of a couple of items we ordered from the menu but we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
The staff who checked me in was amazing -- super friendly and helpful
- 5/5

- 5/5
Very clean and wonderful staff !
- 3/5
Overall positive experience & great in-room amenities. Our room heating was broken since it is an older building, but they moved us. If you have one of the Gold Lounge rooms, be aware that it has limited hours based on occupancy for that day and we weren’t able to get breakfast at 9:30 am, or lunch at noon another day so that was disappointing. The cider at the front desk was wonderful!
- 5/5
We loved the friendly staff, the clean, comfortable room, and the excellent food.
- 5/5
The room was spotless the staff was very friendly we had a couple of issues one heater was not working but we called and they came to fix it right away, 2 the bathtub was not draining properly but my husband fixed it being that he is in construction remodeling he cleaned out the drain by removing lots of hair which was making it no drain other than that all was great!we look forward staying at Fairmont when visiting Dallas on our next trip! Thank you!
- 2/5
The heater wasn’t working, the room was old. Low lighting
- 5/5
This is a 4-star hotel. But I had a 5-star hotel experience.
- 3/5
The elevators took a long time and the room looked outdated. The bathtub was not draining properly and filled up while showering. I was also charged for things I fid not use in the room.
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful. Everyone was pleasant to work with. Based on the condition the property I would not stay there again. Particularly because of the parking.
- 5/5
Loved the hotel! Staff was great. Bathroom showed a little wear otherwise the room was great. Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Check in was fantastic, and we were greeted by the most welcoming employee. The room was clean, the sheets were soft, and the pillows were amazing. We did hear a little noise from the street, but nothing that kept us up. There were plenty of restaurants and bars around to walk to.
- 5/5
Didn’t stay long
- 5/5
Yes i would recommend
- 5/5
Besides being short staffed at the valet, enjoyable stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful property excellent service
- 5/5
The hotel was classic, clean, warm and inviting, and the Christmas trees and mailbox for Santa were very festive. The valet staff was attentive and polite, as were the front desk staff. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the room (King Suite) was excellent and comfortable. We will definitely visit the Fairmont Dallas again. Thanks for everything!
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly & accommodating, beside having daily issues with my room key and the hotel not having a microwave on site, I had a great stay.
- 2/5
The rooms were not clean and certainly outdated. The hotel overall seemed run down and very understaffed. We have stayed at many Fairmont hotels before including in Ottawa, Vancouver and very soon Quebec City. But this was very underwhelming stay. Would not recommend.
- 5/5
Friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is beautiful and the location was great for what I needed to do in Dallas.
- 5/5
The room was clean but a little dated. The staff is very nice and professional.
- 1/5
couldnt check in after paying 560 because i didnt know about the 100 a day deposit. lost my money
- 1/5
The room I paid for the presidential sweet I paid fully for during my reservation. However upon arrival I was given a measly small downgrade . I was lied to , I was misinformed on the amenities on the room . Unfortunately the Fairmont had nothing to loose as I had paid in full through Expedia. When I called or messaged Expedia they said they would get back , so far no one got back or refund or responded to me
- 4/5
My only criticism was that when I booked the hotel, I specifically ordered a city view - I was put in the North Tower and my room faced away from downtown (city view). When I enquired about not having a city view, I was advised that because the hotel was downtown then all the rooms essentially were city view. I found this a rather curious, disappointing and disingenous response. Just bear that in mind when booking the hotel.
- 1/5
The reception staff was great! However, what is shown online is not what is at the hotel. They have a few rooms that are updated but the rest of the hotel is fully outdated. When we went to tell the receptionist they mentioned they always hear this and it isn’t the first time. They were diligent in helping us have a better experience but ended up canceling the stay all together. This also happened at 11:45pm on a Friday night.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing. The hotel is beautiful. All the staff are happy and warm. They made it a point to speak to me every time a staff member saw me. The room was stunning and clean.
- 5/5
Staff was pleasant, parking was $90 extra for 2 days. Valet parking only
- 3/5
Very outdated , lots of scuffs on walls and tub chipping and scuffed up, food very marginal. However, customer service was amazing at restaurant and concierge
- 2/5
Because of thunderstorms, I booked here because of flight problems. When the flight was rescheduled, the hotel refused to refund the last day of the reservation, even with two days' notice. To me, a giant corporation can give that money back for the unused night, and simply rent the room to the next person. Expedia called them repeatedly for about an hour with no answer--pretty frustrating-- then finally came back with the hotel's refusal. Later the hotel wrote a dumb "Hi! How's your stay going?!" spam text and then refused again when I told them that it wasn't going well and that I would be home by Saturday night. You can judge what you think they should do- that's the basis of this very unsatisfying review. Also, the room was freezing and didn't respond to the thermostat. The fan never, never stopped running for the 48 hours I was there, even with the temperature set to 80 degrees it was still freezing. Wearing multiple layers to sleep because it was so freezing. Again, I think this is a junk hotel pretending to be a nice one. Rent from any of the other million competitors.

Yes, staff were very courteous and rooms were clean

I had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Hotel Dallas. A really beautiful hotel. Really liked my room. I would like to say a big Thank You to all the staff who made my stay enjoyable. They were all very helpful and kind to me. I miss you all very much. Ross with the cars outside made me feel very welcome. A really kind gentleman. Philip from the concierge was so kind and friendly. Janet in the shop was a really lovely person. A wonderful place to stay. Very close to Downtown and the train station. The Hotel was beautiful and so clean and well kept. I give it 10 out of 10 The reception staff all so friendly and helpful and not forgetting Alicia who helped me a lot.

Hotel is super nice, good facilities, beautiful lobby and staff and service overall was the highlight. Extremely attentive, exquisite service from front desk, to concierge and bell service.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Had dinner in the restaurant- food was good, not great Very pricey, but lovely
- 3/5
Room and facility need some cleaning, maintenance and renovations
- 5/5
Nice location - older hotel and needs upgrades specifically our room’s bathroom door. It was stuck and difficult to lock.
- 4/5
The safe was not working neither was the heating system. Required a couple of visits for each repair over two days. However, the site is clean, well located and food is great.
- 5/5
Staff was incredible! 5Star. Everything was great
- 2/5
The Fairmont Dallas makes a great first impression from the outside, and valet service was excellent — polite and efficient. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for us. Once inside, the hotel feels tired and outdated. Service was extremely slow — we asked for coffee and water in the morning, waited over two hours, and made three follow-up calls before giving up and getting it ourselves. When we asked for a microwave to warm up our child’s food, we were told none were available for guest use — not even in a common area. We stayed in a double junior suite, but the bathroom was very small, and most of the light fixtures were old, dim, or not working properly. Fairmont used to stand for luxury, but this property really hasn’t kept up. It feels like they’re relying on the brand’s history instead of updating rooms or improving service. Dallas has many newer, more comfortable hotels that offer better value and attention to guests.
- 5/5
Checkin seamless.
- 5/5
Clean room and great staff!
- 5/5
Clean room and wonderful staff
- 5/5
Hotel was very nice compared to hotels twice the price. Nice amenities. Good location in Arts District. Only complaint was the room was cold. Couldn't seem to make it warmer. No additional blankets in room. Parking at hotel too expensive
- 5/5
The service was exceptional from the time I arrived until the check out. Every person I dealt with was extremely professional and went out of their way to help. The property itself was excellent and very well located.
- 4/5
We had a problem with noise in our room during the night. The staff in the morning were fantastic. The manager upgraded our accommodation to Gold class without hesitation. The service of the staff overall was first class.
- 5/5
Overall great experience, drinks at the bar shouldn’t be 22 dollars. Other than that I had a great time, and the valet service was amazing
- 5/5
Wow! I had an amazing experience. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The place is very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
- 5/5
Thaddeus Darrel was super generous and helpful made us feel very welcomed. Definitely exceeded our expectations, also the valet parking people were super nice. Definitely booking again.
- 5/5
Nice hotel good value
- 2/5
The room was dirty had a terrible sewer odor at times throughout the night, and when turned on the shower made the loudest banging sound nonstop until the water was turned off. The staff was attentive and nice but the room made the experience bad, by far the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in.
- 5/5
- 3/5
I hate to be negative; but I just don’t think it was worth the price. I’m not sure who chose the restroom design; but there’s no ledge or anything stopping the water from going all over the restroom. The shower is so close to the carpet in the room that it inevitably makes the carpet near the restroom soaking wet. The city view was mid at best; there are other hotels with better views in the city. Overall, very middle of the road hotel. The Starbucks in the lobby was a nice touch
- 5/5
Lovely property, great location, amenities . The bartender working the night of 10/23 was excellent, friendly, fast, attentive but not intrusive.
- 5/5
Staff/service is amazing! Super convenient location - walked to all of our planned events. Very clean, just needs little touch ups, updates. Would definitely stay at The Fairmont Dallas again. As someone who travels a lot, I appreciate good staff/service, location and cleanliness - these are my main considerations.
- 5/5
Staff is incredibly kind & professional. The view from our room is gorgeous, we stayed with our two toddlers and loved it!
- 3/5
Room was run down. Tub chipped. Would around door frame was water damaged. Mattress and pillows super uncomfortable. We had higher expectations being that we were staying at “the Fairmont”.
- 2/5
Staff lied about putting a rollaway bed in the room. Said it would set off the fire alarms if they rolled it through the door… elevators took 10 actual minutes for us to get in. Changed towers to help mitigate and avoid the excessive amounts of conference attendees in the elevators at all times. Not a bottle of water to be found that didn’t cost money. First room had an old a musty smell and the bathtub didn’t drain. Not good at all. Lobby bar was always busy at night and front door/valet were nice and helpful so those were a plus. Overall would not recommend or return at this point.
- 5/5
Bar was very busy and service was slow but everything else was great.
- 5/5
Was last minute booking after being in a horrible situation at another hotel that we left quickly. The fairmont was a breath of fresh air and wish we had booked it from the beginning. If we return to Dallas we will most certainly be staying here without a doubt
- 4/5
It was a good stay and a convenient location. Although a beautiful hotel, things seem dated and in need of a refresh. The restaurant staff was also a bit rude when it came to opening a bottle of wine we had purchased at a nearby boutique…We just needed it opened, not a big deal - the first day someone was cool about, but the next day, another person was like, @We can’t do that here.”
- 2/5
Late Saturday night around 11pm I asked the front desk if we could get a late check out the following morning - Sunday. No we cannot. Not only can we not get a late check out - the ENTIRE hotel is being shutdown on Sunday at 1pm. So we had to be out - they could not hold our bags until our late evening flight. When we asked why we did not know this - we would have booked elsewhere as our plan had been to chill at the pool, eat lunch there and have our bags held until our evening flights. The woman behind the desk strongly assured me that we had been told and everyone knew! (not the case). She made it clear it was not her problem and we had messed up. She said it was an emergency situation where a boiler had to be replaced and that is why the hotel was being shut down. Her manager called our room later as we had requested more information - he told us that this shutdown had been planned for months and we knew about it when we booked etc. So emergency or planned - the could not keep their story straight. We paid a lot of money for our stay and expected to be informed of this at the very least when we checked in. Ideally before we booked - as it didn't work for our plans and we would have booked elsewhere. Poor exp.
- 5/5
Room was a good size on the 18th floor. Having the separate Gold Lounge or whatever was a surprise bonus. Based on having a room available they were kind enough to allowed me to check in early at no additional charge. Highly recommend!
- 4/5
Overnight parking is a bit expensive, and the plug near my side of the bed didn’t work. But a very pretty place, and very nice employees.
- 2/5
Bathroom tub was clogged and dirty. Had to call front desk to have it repaired a couple of times. Vehicles were stolen from their overflow parking including my friend’s vehicle.
- 5/5
Great visit. We were upgraded to the gold room because the room we booked was under maintenance. We were very pleased. Only issue we had was getting our vehicle at checkout. It took over an hour. But, it was extra busy due to Texas - OU game.
- 3/5
The hotel needs a renovation, especially in the public areas as everything is a bit dated. The beds are comfortable and rhe rooms are clean
- 5/5
Beautiful property in downtown
- 2/5
The staff were great and the on-site restaurant had a great menu. But one lift for 20 floors was a nightmare, you had to get the one going up to fit in, then you stop on every floor. Took 15-20minutes each morning.
- 3/5
The start of the stay was amazing, service was beyond expectations. Our second day we quickly realized in the south tower there was only 1 elevator working and it would stop on every floor on the way down. So if you had dinner reservations the or an uber waiting that made for a stressful situation when we are coming to relax and celebrate our anniversary. Not something you would want expect to happen when you’re being charged well over $600 for 2 nights. We ended up taking the stairs to catch our ride and make our dinner reservations but from the 9th floor the Mrs wasn’t pleased. I told someone about the elevator and joked about maybe you should comp me some bottle waters. Well you get what you ask for. Last morning of our stay check out is at 12 well at 9:15 10:30, and 11:15 we kept getting a knock on the door checking to see if we were still in the room. We got the point (GET OUT) we need the room for someone else. Needless to say wife wasn’t as impressed with my choice of the hotel and its facilities and I’m gonna have to do better next year. Let’s just say I think I won’t be coming back. Hopefully she will give me a pass since it was our first anniversary. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
- 5/5
Clean and nice. Staff was amazing. I would absolutely stay there again.
- 5/5
Great experience.
- 4/5
Rooms are dated. Amenities nice. I would be furious if I paid $56 a day to valet park my car. They wanted to charge $14 a day for internet but staff was able to give me a free pass upon request. Nice having a full Starbucks.
- 5/5
The hotel is very well maintained, and they have a great staff.
- 2/5
the staff were knocking for room cleaning awfully early at 8:30 AM, then failed to clean the room when we left the second day. The water pipes were incredibly noisy, you could hear every neighbor's shower, flush and bathroom activity. The doors were sticky, so they only shut if they were slammed firmly, making for noisy entrances for everyone in the hallway. The refrigerator was useless and stocked with only drinks for purchase. I didn't see any free Wi-Fi options. Valet-only parking with no convenient parking options nearby. would not recommend this hotel for a variety of reasons.
- 3/5
Overall really no complaints aside from the fact that it felt overall dated. Rooms were clean. The pool on the terrace was pleasant. Noted they were doing some work with adding pergolas and seating which looked cozey and inviting.
- 5/5
Very clean!
- 5/5
Great view of city from room on 17 floor
- 4/5
Staff is very nice and helpful. Gym was better than I anticipated. Enjoyed that.
- 5/5
Valet parking $70
- 1/5
Over charging my card and didn’t get us our vecivle for 45 mins causes us late to dinner resy non stop no service
- 5/5
The concierge Phillip was awesome
- 5/5
The hotel itself is very well appointed, very clean and staffed by polite and knowledgeable people who were always happy to help. The rooftop pool area is a big bonus and provides welcome relief from the hot September temperatures. Many bars and restaurants are again within easy walking distance and those that aren’t or short taxi ride away. All in all I would highly recommend the Fairmont and would certainly stay there again if I find myself in Dallas in the future
- 5/5
My stay was amazing. Room comfy and all around was good. Food in the restaurant was delicious and my favorite was the Le Labo products in the restroom. One of my favorite perfume. Will be back again for sure.
- 4/5
The hotel is conveniently located downtown; but, the hotel, built in the 1970’s shows its age. The staff is 5 star and I would stay again.
- 5/5
The Fairmont is an amazing place to stay, great view, convenient to parks and museums. Great experience! I highly recommend.
- 4/5
It was peaceful
- 4/5
I stay here for consistency and convenience. And I am always pleased when I can get a stay under $200. But the building could use a much needed update.
- 3/5
It was ok. Lot of renovations going on. Pool didn’t look that good
- 5/5
We had a great sstay. The customer service was excellent. We were a little disappoinnted with the condition of th hotel. In parts it was old and in need of repair
- 2/5
Very old, needs to be upgraded for as much as we paid.
- 4/5
It's a nice hotel, staff is friendly but it's old, dirty carpets, a bit smelly, etc. Also the neighborhood is super convenient but I wouldn't call it safe
- 3/5
The room showed clear signs of neglect—tiles were coming off the wall in the shower, and when the water was turned on it sounded like a jackhammer behind the wall. Housekeeping uses an excessive amount of bleach, leaving the towels and bathrobe feeling like sandpaper, which made the experience uncomfortable instead of luxurious. What was advertised on the website also did not match reality—there were no poolside drinks or food service available, and staff were uncaring when we mentioned how this impacted our stay. Room service was equally disappointing: our beverage order took a long time to arrive, and by the time it did the ice in the alcoholic drink was nearly melted. Breakfast was another letdown—almost $70 for food that was no better than what you could get at a diner. The one bright spot was our interaction with Esteban, who assisted us with our luggage and was kind, helpful, and professional. Overall, this stay did not reflect the quality or hospitality that we expect from the Fairmont name.
- 5/5
This was my 2nd time staying here, friendly staff and I loved the southern hospitality of having doors opened for me
- 3/5
The hotel itself, even though it has years on it, is still lovely. The staff was all super nice, helpful & professional. I loved the Starbucks inside! BUT, the ac seemed to not work downstairs and the room smelled like smoke.
- 5/5
an amazing and relaxing stay:)
- 5/5
We stay here every year. We have never had a bad experience.
- 4/5
I admittedly was champing (yes, that is spelled correctly for all you non-equestrians) at the bit to write this review and it’s proven itself a delight. It’s not Sofitels little sister, but its Cool Auntie. Got a little time on her but knows how to show up at the party when it counts. Gone are the days of the white gloved bell boy and here to stay is a tatoo sleeved gentlemen opening doors with quiet respect. Not too much just enough to let you know he’s there. Then there was the equally smooth greeting by the most famous Concierge in Dallas. Marcus holding down at checkin took the handoff like Saquan running past them ‘Boys (how ‘bout ‘em). And finally met the goal post with a small belated birthday treat (I responded to the welcome email the day before- HINT HINT) for a weekend in my clean, well appointed but “Oh So Much Brown Almost Has A Brady Bunch Vibe Room.” Look folks on every level it meets the standard for welcoming, friendly and safe. The 9 foot deep pool that would even accommodate a Michael Phelps-ish wingspan on the terrace is groovy. Just water, wind and the Dallas skyline up there. The bar is a cozy, throwback with excellent service but don’t be surprised as comparisons to the Regal Beagle can’t be ignored. This Grand Dame of a hotel should not be ignored. She is well situated, value-centered, friendly and most of all reminds us all the marble, chrome, and wood are considered sustainable in almost any home, so embrace it.
- 5/5
Went to a show at the American Airlines center and the hotel shuttle took us to the center. After the show we walked back to the hotel with several bars and restaurants to visit along the way . Great location!
- 5/5
Awesome!

Valet was good, it was an extra 60$ a night didn't catch it when making reservations. Had the family for the weekend so I decided to spend a bit more to stay in downtown area since City View was one of the selling points. When I asked the front desk about the floor and view I got a Stern! Response no were sold out. The room we got was 4 the floor looking a the center of the hotel with a pool in the middle.. a bit disappointed..

Room was outdated and the A/C Did not function properly.

Property looks and feels old. Not many dining options. Also in room entertainment was terrible. Bathroom old. Only thing good was location in city

Clean room, nice staff, inside of downtown. Very busy.

Great location

This hotel was okay for what I needed. Couldn't get the wifi to work which sucked.

Nice place if you want a stay in the center of Dallas.

Loved my stay! Easy and fast check-in and check-out

This hotel is gorgeous inside and out. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I had a very relaxing stay and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Dallas.

Was a decent stay, but the property could use some updating. Pool area has great potential, but nothing being done with it
- 5/5
Darrel, our concierge, was amazing!! We were also pleasantly suprised with a Birthday treat waiting in our room to celebrate my husband's 50th!
- 3/5
Negative: Hotel needs some major renovations. Very outdated. Doesn’t seem like they’ve put any upgrades to it. Even the lobby very outdated. The AC in our room was making the carpet wet which we let the front desk know. There were water pressure issues one of the days and when we came back at night the front lighting to the hotel was out. Also, your only option for parking is Valet and it’s $56 dollars. I feel like in a big city hotel market they are going to need to put more money into this hotel.

I was pissed that valet parking was expensive and not explained on web site

We opened the blinds and curtains in the room, and the whole valance fell out of the wall. They wanted to change our room, but it was late at night and we decided to stay in the room, but they did try to accommodate us.

False Advertising. Not a “Luxury” hotel
- 5/5
Great concierge service.
- 3/5
It was okay, underwhelming, the property is due for a "redo" - the artwork and furnishings are all brown, which wasn't our aesthetic.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the stay and I did not have any dislikes…
- 5/5
Exceptional service. Comfy & quiet rooms. Pool was perfect temperature to swim in.
- 4/5
Nice just a little old and tub drain backed up. Was there for one night not a huge deal
- 2/5
Central location, but not up to Fairmont standards. Restaurant & bar were closed. Elevators were not working 2 nights in a row.
- 4/5
Great customer service
- 4/5
Easy valet parking. Restaurants on site as well as a Starbucks. There are also some great restaurants within walking distance. Have stayed here many times. Easy to walk to Meyerson and First Baptist Dallas.
- 3/5
Hotel is showing its age, elevators are broken, and the hotel looks beat up. There are better locations, not a lot of walkable dining.
- 5/5
From the start, the front desk staff was very professional and courteous, outstanding. My room was in great shape, the lounge bar and restaurant did not disappoint. I highly recommend this property.
- 4/5
All the furniture was in good condition, but color schemes was nothing but various shades of brown. The only AC vent blows directly on you if you are sitting at the desk which is completely distracting and noisy. Also, no fridge for my items. Only minibar fridge.

Stayed for a conference close by. Hotel was lovely. Quiet, clean, safe, friendly staff. The pool on the terrace with a garden was wonderful to unwind in the evening. Rooms are super spacious and comfortable. Would stay again.

Very nice staff and pleasant experience. The building and rooms are a bit outdated but doesn’t impact the quality of stay.

Upon arrival, my reservation was not correct. The desk card did nothing to correct or rectify the issue. In fact very dismissive. I stayed here for approximately one year ago and had the same the rhombus large, very spacious as a mother of two young children I did not television did not offer television app. And required us to use their Wi-Fi to access TV options on our phone, which compromise data on my other apps. Ballet was a little bit on the expensive side almost $60 per night however, the ballet was the best experience. They were courteous, nice and professional upon entry and exit we had a rough day. I signed in. It took two hours to receive my food and the cheeseburger bread I asked for a condiment that we provided. I would not rate this experience the best. We did utilize the pool outside, which did have a nice set up with beverages music appropriate for there could be some cosmetic work such as touching up the concrete paint that is peeling for hotel to be on the lecture side feel like a lot of gray needs to happen especially for the cost for Knight travel often. I typically don't give readings but my experience at the front desk and wasn't the best thank you.

Its good but this is dallas need pay for valet parking 60 dollars at day

2. Toilet didn’t flush 3. All 3 elevators on our tower ceased to function and had to climb 21 stories to our room. 4. No service at the hotel main restaurant during business hours.

Great overall .
- 2/5
No free wifi.
- 4/5
Closest restaurant was a half mile away; and, heard loud noises from interstate all night.
- 5/5
Very nice front staff! Liked the smell of the space and elevator was fast. The lights require touching the knobs. Water heat was nice but pressure was gentle. Beds were comfy as were pillows. Loved how close it was to the station and walking distance to concert venue. Restaurants nearby were great! I would stay here again.

Such a kind and amazing gentleman at the front desk! The palatial room upgrade after a long, busy day was incredible! So very thankful!

They dont have breakfast buffet. Room are not cleaned timley. It has happened with me twice that they didnt clean my room and bins.
- 4/5
Convenient location, rooms were outdated and bathroom was very small.

This should not be called a fairmont. Room was in bad shape and smelled musty. Carpet was old/dirty and smelled bad. Shower was in bad shape as well and had stains. This hotel needs some renovation and is not up to par for being a Fairmont.
- 4/5
Staff was very responsive and very respectful! Gives you a comfort to be able to ask questions or share concerns!
- 3/5
No microwave or fridge in rooms.
- 5/5
Very kind and professional staff

Everything was great, other than the fact that you can hear everything around you. We got no sleep hearing all the doors slamming in the hallway all night. Pillows were terible

Wonderful experience

That said, I want to raise a concern about my departure on July 19. While I understand technical issues can occur, the elevator outage became extremely distressing. I had a 2 PM late checkout, & by the time I was leaving, all elevators—including the service elevator—were out of order. I was staying on the 22nd floor with luggage, and could not get back into the room when I tried to return. I texted the same hotel contact I had been communicating with during my stay but didn’t receive a reply until I was already in my Uber to the airport. With no other option, I had to carry & drag my luggage down 22 flights of stairs. It was hot, exhausting, & frankly unsafe—especially for guests with mobility or health concerns. I made it down safely, but I’ve had lingering pain since, & my luggage was damaged. I understand that unexpected problems arise, but the lack of communication made the situation feel chaotic. In a hospitality setting, timely outreach to impacted guests was expected. I know kindness matters & goes a long way, which is why I’m not sending this as a malicious complaint, but as a thoughtful suggestion to consider. safety risk was safety risk was real & would have fallen on the property.

Fantastic stay, but would love to see upgraded furniture and tech such as the tv and remote which has trouble working.
- 4/5
Elevator did not work for South Tower. Had to walk the stairs up and down to 15th floor on Saturday
- 2/5
Only 1 of 4 elevators worked and then on Saturday during our stay, the only operating elevator broke down after someone got stuck in it. We waited most of the day for it to be fixed . Finally, at 11 pm we decided to hike up 24 flights of stairs (14th floor) to go to our room. The elevator (only 1) was semi-operational on Sunday, but the doors kept opening and closing and it skipped floors (very scary). Certainly not the typical Fairmont Hotel experience.
- 3/5
The staff was amazing & always willing to help. Would say the hotel is very outdated. Gives prehistoric atmosphere. Also you literally have to pay for everything! Wifi, parking etc. but overall i would give it 3.5/5 stars due to the staff being amazing but the look & feel does not give modern like the pictures.

We got upgraded to a suite which was a super nice surprise especially since we were here celebrating our anniversary. Everything was great. The only negative feedback we have was the room was pretty warm and the pillows weren’t great. Everything else was absolutely wonderful!

Loved this place! Pool was nice. Thought could use extra seating. Dining and bar was nice. Room service good. Really enjoyed it.
