The hotel is close to many important places to see in Dallas. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The view was divine and breakfast was delicious! Two nights stay equals a charge of an additional $74.00 in parking fees.

Paying for parking; lack of information about the parking garage setup; not being informed of the one type of garage traffic; only one access point for entering the hotel was inconvenient; the sheer number of homeless people walking near the entrances was concerning/presented a safety issue (if the city is going to displace the homeless, they should create a place for them, because the homeless are still people that deserve a place); and my hot water was not working properly (I have take enough cold showers fight for the US, so why should I have to pay to take a cold shower?).

I never figured out how to operate the light switches. I didn't have the opportunity to sample the breakfast or the gym and other communal areas.

The facilities where aesthetically pleasing. The hall ways were well maintained. The location was near quite a few attractions and restaurants. I'm thankful for the assistance from the front desk attendant with finding a nice steakhouse and the 10 percent discount coupon for the steakhouse. The list of available attractions was great assistance for people that are not familiar with the downtown area. Thankful for the complimentary water bottles during check in. Thankful for the security personnel. Breakfast was another issue—one morning the milk being served had gone bad. I took the jug to the back because there were kids around and I didn’t want them drinking it, but no one there spoke enough English to understand what I was trying to explain. To make matters worse, I called twice requesting to speak with the manager, and neither call was ever returned. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I will not be returning for future business trips, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms were more spacious in person than the picture described. It was a nice surprise! We had plenty of room for our family of 5.

The room was so spacious, and the staff members were very courteous and helpful. On the first morning, we noticed that the water pressure in the shower was low, and the front desk promptly sent a maintenance staff to change the shower head to solve the issue. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Perfect location. Within walking distance of all the major stuff, JFK, American Airlines arena, aquarium. Only bad thing was they don't have a pool.

Great hotel for the price point. Convenient location, friendly staff, big and clean rooms. Breakfast is good and runs for a good amount of time. My only complaint is the parking which is valet only - I'd honestly be fine paying daily for parking on the property; the valet aspect just adds unnecessary inconvenience in my opinion.

Also, we received our car back from the valet and they had scratched our vehicle. We had just cleaned the car the day we checked in and knew the scratch wasn’t there beforehand. When we addressed it with the valet, they said “it’s nothing” and were playing it down immensely. They claim they take photos of the cars when they’re taken in by valet but they had no photos of our vehicle to show us, which did not matter to us since we knew the scratch wasn’t there before we gave them the keys. We left the hotel since there were other people trying to leave behind us and we blocked them in (their valet area is tiny). I called the front desk to talk to them about the valet situation and address the scratch, the guy I spoke with said he’d call me back within half an hour and it’s been over 24 hours with no callback. Awful service from valet.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They made feel at ease in Dallas. Excellent management and staff.

Besides that, everything was perfect! The bacon at breakfast was perfect! Staff always cheerful and seemed to love their job. Makes such a difference!!

Moncia at the front desk was an excellent help to us. She spent time to get to know us and made us feel very welcome. All of the staff were good!

They offered a late check out so we can enjoy the Dallas World Aquarium which was only a 5 mins walk. Breakfast was free, but it’s valet only parking available.

They didn't give us water bottles at check in and when I asked for some I received some pushback. A little rude to be like that over a couple of water bottles. Also the light switches did not work in the room they seemed stuck, it was strange.

The room itself was also great. It had a real kitchen with plates, pots, pans, and utensils, so we had everything we needed to cook and eat comfortably. The bed was super comfortable too and it was honestly hard to leave it in the morning. Overall, the stay was very nice, but it is really thanks to Moncie that I am writing this review.

I had to go inyo the hospital on a couple of occasions and my room was left in horrific conditions by me, and not only was i welcomed back on a few occassions but i was checked on while i was in the hospital and also when my reservation was up they stored my property for me. My only complaint was alot of my property was missing, it was nothing compaired to the compassion that was shown to me.

They sent some guy who spoke very little English up and said the way to fix it is to turn the both sinks on to help pull the hot water up. Lol who’s ever heard of such a thing. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of. And when they called us, they said that there’s nobody here to fix it and they’ll fix it in the morning. Which is really convenient since we check out in the morning. So me and my family of three spent almost $400 and couldn’t even take a shower.

Staff from valet and front desk to breakfast attendant and housekeepers were all wonderful. It is so centrally located the only time we had to take our vehicle out of the garage was to go to a baseball game. It is a wonderful example of why I look for a Homewood Suites to stay in when ever I travel.

The associate spent a huge amount of time with two ladies that had a lot of issues meeting basic requirements to make payment and ID. A big red flag for me was on their cart. It looked like they came to party. As luck would have it they were in the room next to us and the party started immediately! Very loud music and voices. There weremultiple rooms on our floor so they went back and forth letting the door slam each time. We went out for dinner and they were still going strong when we returned. We did not complain as it was still early even though we had a long travel day and would have liked an early night. At 10 they went out all was quiet until 2 am. Then the music was back on and the load voices. Banging doors. We tried several times to call the front desk letting it ring. No answer. When we had come back from dinner the only person we saw was the same associate that checked us in. Security that was there earlier was not visible. We did not feel safe to leave our room and we did consider calling 911. It was that bad! When we checked out we told the associate what had happened and he asked,so you want to place a noise complaint? The point of bringing it up after the fact is the staff on duty need to be informed of what went on,on their watch and how to avoid this from happening in the future. No one knows what a guest will do for sure but in the 20 minutes I listened to these guests problems with checkin I never heard them be told they needed to q

Told front desk and they came and said just basically try to keep warm did not fix or give us another room. The next morning when it was time to check out they came and ask about the heat, we have froze to death all night feet super cold, hands cold, nose cold for $204 a night! No extra covers, sink stopped up, toilet didn’t want to flush! This hotel has really went downhill since my last few stays! An inconvenience to leave my home with warmth and pay over $200 to freeze no heat and no assistance !!

Sadly no pool or arcade at the time we stayed, but pool tables, basketball court and work out room provided some entertainment. We didnt go too far out around the area on foot, but quite a few homeless people or just people on drugs made it annoying with kids. The dallas aquarium was in walking distance and was fantastic as well.

This was right in downtown which was great if you didn’t have kids. Lots of homeless and there was no pool as advertised in the pictures. Wouldn’t recommend for families. Aside from that the room was good.

I have stayed at this property many times and was always appreciative of its proximity to everything downtown. However it’s starting to show its age. It’s still a good price point. You now have to request your room to be cleaned, so I was surprised to return after a long day and beds not made and no clean towels. So every morning I called to request room cleaning as I don’t expect to pay and make my bed on vacation, nor carry fresh towels up from the lobby. Once my request was made my stay was great.

The hotel is within walking distance to Dealey Plaza, the giant eyeball, etc. We found a dog friendly Irish pub that was open late.

The service was terrible. The staff were very harried and clearly overwhelmed. Management was non existent. The location seemed quite nice at first but when we woke up we had lice crawling in our daughters hair. When we contacted the staff and management we were basically ignored. No offers were made to assist or comp our room. Will never return. One of the worst experiences Ive had.

Pool and mini-golf advertised on here were both closed. The pool has been closed for a year and a half, per front desk. The only reason we booked this hotel was for the advertised indoor pool. Security guards stand over the clerks shoulder which made me concerned about the area and also my personal information. No trash cans in bathroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. Brilliant location for downtown sightseeing. Within walking distance of JFK tours, etc. Suite was awesome. Very spacious and comfortable. Great free breakfast. Staff were all very friendly. Housekeeping is only on request which we did not realise until checkout! But no problem for us. Suite was clean. Our only problem was the continuously filling cistern in one of the bathrooms which did not get fixed during our stay. Just shut the door on it! Pretty quiet for downtown.

We were met with the Valet, appropriately dressed and knowledgeable. Go through the door to be greeted by two young women, one new, one is shreaded jeans, neither in any sort of uniform. The new person needed some help and the other had to look upfrom her phone to assist her. There was trash in the floor, ripped upholstery on some of the furniture. We made it to our floor, it was still under an upgrade, no big, it was just some walpaper that was being finished. In the room, there was new walpaper and carpet. The bathroom looked reasonably new. The faucet was not very tight. Wen you turned on the hot water, the entire faucet would move. The toilet took approximately 20 minutes for the tank to refill. There was mildew in the corner of the window, there was a leak in the ceiling over the window at the end by the bed, you could hear it dripping inside the header. The checkout process want very difficult. The bed and the pillows were comfortable, no noise on the floor. The doorbell is horrifically loud!! All in all it was a good room. Great location.

So if you stay here you will be charged 40 every day you stay the night and they told us there was no where else to park that wouldn’t charge you at least 20 but we found a parking spot for 13 bucks and some of staff the clerks and valet were super rude

The room is clean and tidy, and the service attitude is good However ,I booked the hotel after seeing that they had mini golf. When I checked in, the mini golf equipment looked very old and could not be used normally.

Everything was good but the main reason I booked that hotel was for the indoor pool. When we got there everything was getting renovated, hence why only 4 stars.

Hotel In renovating so it was kind of a mess, but our floor and room was really nice! There was a motorcycle gathering in parking lot next to hotel and they were really loud, so not hotel fault!

Hotel is doing renovations so it was loud and disorganized. Multiple services weren’t available. No hot water on the last day. Front desk was rude and dismissive.

Homewood Suites was ideally located to meet my itinerary needs. I was pleased with the suite I was appointed and very very happy with the staff (especially the front desk staff and the breakfast handling staff. Kudos!

Great front desk staff. Breakfast was GREAT. Noisy street though, lots of truck traffic even on wknd. Close to Delay Plaza.

Everything was great. Only complaint I have is I wish there were vending machines on the floor I was on. Other than that, it was awesome.

Staff was friendly & very helpful.. Sticky floors, no hot water at bathroom sink, light switches didn't always work, pool was unavailable, breakfast was very bland with nasty eggs.. Disappointed overall, we will not pick this hotel again.. Have stayed in much better hotels that cost 1/2 as much..

Everytime the AC would turn on you could smell food being cooked. First time to ever experience that.

Loved the room at 600ft… it was a good size room for downtown we stayed on 8th floor which gave us an excellent view of the city. The location was the best, tons of restaurant in walking distance. To notch valet service, these guys don’t have you waiting for your car. Very professional and friendly. We were so happy with hotel that we encouraged our other family members to get room in the same hotel.

The property is quite nice. But when I booked this hotel online, I specifically asked for something pet friendly. Yes, this place is pet friendly, but nowhere during the booking was I told that I would have to pay $75 for each pet. That added $150 to my one night stay! Also, there are no convenient facilities for my dogs to go outside. The closest place for them to go is a park that is a block and a half away. It would definitely be a nice place for them to go if it wasn't overrun with homeless people that were in the fountain bathing. I didn't feel safe by myself taking my dogs there.

The pool was cold, we choose this hotel because of indoor pool and because I was attending a concert. My husband was going to stay with out toddler and have fun at the pool. The mirrors in the closet were dirty, the bathroom has mold, where the door slides on the corners. This room needs lots of touch ups, not just with a marker. Honestly for the price, I thought the room would be in better condition and the pool would have warm water, so dissapointing.

Clean, quiet,safe. 22 min walk to American Airlines Center.

My husband and I went for a concert, but we want to go back to REALLY enjoy that nice room and the surrounding area.

This was a great stay. They have a movie theater you and your family can rent out to use. It was the favorite part of my kid’s stay. Very interesting and unique place.

Didn’t like that a game room was listed but no game room and didn’t like indoor pool was not heated!

First night was very large room on 4th floor - bathtub had several cracks and needed a little caulk. everything else was fine. ac was great and so was hot water. fast checkin and nice treats. 2nd night new room so a little off checking in since i got a key to a room that had someone in it. Once I got my room, it was comfortable. bed very nice and shower was amazing . kitchen had all the basics. helpful staff. nice convenience shop on first level. no restaurant but theres one at other hotels nearby to walk to. valet staff helpful.

The breakfast was great and the rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The furniture has seen better days and was somewhat outdated but overall it is a great value and space for your money. Would stay here again.

Amazing staff. From front desk to valet to housekeeping to breakfast crew. Very good breakfast. Many choices to choose from. Room was great! Bed was comfy. Would highly recommend this hotel. Located one block off Main st in downtown. Good variety of food within a short walk.

The staff was excellent!!! Night security lady, she's the best! Parking onsite and valet was excellent, and in my opinion totally worth the cost! The area has a lot of homeless, but felt safe my entire stay. Hotel was clean, lots of extras, breakfast was great! Lots of attractions within walking distance. Would stay again.

The worst part was not the inconvenience. It was management's attitude. When I attempted to use Hilton's online customer service, it was a nightmare and waste of time. So I telephoned.
